Boasting an eclectic local culture that combines the best elements of Midwestern personality and metropolitan sophistication, Minneapolis has built a solid reputation as one of the most interesting and exciting cities in the region, and indeed the entire nation. A vibrant urban center in the land of 10,000 lakes, Minneapolis enjoys well-earned attention for its stress-free atmosphere, great bicycling trails, and culturally diverse population. The city’s robust economy has deep roots, with numerous major companies having operated corporate headquarters in the city for decades (in some cases a century or more). In spite of being a major economic hub, the city is full of surprisingly affordable apartments, condos, and rental homes.
If you live in Downtown, getting around in winter is never a problem thanks to the skyway system.

Property Ratings at The Station on Washington
Everything works and office is always very kind and helpful. Halls are always clean and taken care of. Gym is useful and the big studio is great. Also a peleton tv has recently been installed for video workouts
I've really enjoyed my time here and have already signed for next year. The location is perfect!
I love living at the Station on Washington! The leasing consultants are extremely friendly and helpful. Wouldn’t live anywhere else.
I love the Station on Washington. It has a great community with a super welcoming atmosphere. The location is super ideal with lots of good restaurants around.
I love this place so much! It’s cozy, convenient, and the price is resonable for college student. I definitely recommend everybody living here and hope everyone enjoys their time living at the Station.
Good place to live. The price can be a bit much for the lack of amenities but it’s nice being so close to campus. Less packages have been getting lost with their new front door lock. Front desk staff is always nice.
I love the Station! I have recently moved in and got matched with a random roommate but it turned out perfectly, even with our differences. The staff is very personable and always readily helpful in any situation. They are also ESA and pet friendly!
I love it here so much I’ve renewed twice! It’s so close to the University of Minnesota’s campus, so walking to class is so easy. There’s also tons of food places nearby!
The room is silent, the gym is available, and the staff members are all kind. The lounge on the sixth floor is the best place to work. Great place.
I absolutely love living at the Station on Washington. It is such a warm and welcoming environment and the staff never fails to welcome their residents.
The Station on Washington is a great place to live! they really care about their residents and take the time to make fun experiences/events for us.
Amenities and room are pretty clean and in good repair. My room had a few dead bugs and paint scuffs in it, but not anything too alarming. Overall, I'm very pleased with my experience so far.
I enjoyed my time at the Station on Washington. I had minimal issues here. The appliances worked well, the amenities were nice, and the apartment is in a good location with immediate access to the East Bank campus. Management was friendly. It is close to the light rail which is great for transportation. You can hear the light rail from the apartments facing the tracks, but it never kept me awake at night. The apartment building itself is quiet, but the surrounding neighborhood can be noisier on the weekends/when there are more people around. Overall, a great place to live on campus.
Good office, everyone is friendly and any questions are promptly answered. Apartment always gets cleaned every morning. Safety precautions have been taken as well
I could not have picked a better apartment option than The Station on Washington. The staff is absolutely amazing and friendly all while they have good prices and the location is fantastic being right next to campus.
Very welcoming and accommodating apartment! They seem to really have your best interest and heart and go out of their way for you. I greatly appreciate the Station on Washington!
I had a great experience here living for 2 years! I highly recommend living here for anybody who is still on the edge. The leasing office is also really helpful.
I’ve had a pleasant experience at the Station on Washington. Aside from a couple of very minor issues here and there (all of which were resolved in a timely manner) I’ve had only a few complaints in my time here. The building is rather nice (including the apartments themselves, with only a few signs of minor damages when I moved in) and the people who work in the office are all kind. I’ve had several good conversations with the front desk people and they are always helpful. It’s a great apartment for my current situation. My one major complaint these days is they recently locked both doors to get inside. I understand it's a safety thing and I respect that, but it makes package deliveries very difficult and uncertain as they often get left on the side of the street not because the delivery people can't even set them just inside the first door anymore.
All of the managers are amazing. They are super nice, and always caring. Also, super close to university, can sleep more lol Neighbors are also good, I can hear some noise, but not that much. I think this apt has thick wall
Living at the Station on Washington has been an amazing experience! I love the location of the building and the staff is fantastic. They are always welcoming and eager to help out.
I have had a great experience living at the station! The staff are really sweet and I enjoy the events they put on. The location is perfect- I like being close to the light rail and to classes.
I absolutely love living in my apartment at the Station on Washington. I love the super convenient location and all the staff have been so nice, enjoyable to work and interact with, and welcoming. It really is a great community and I am glad I an be part of it.
The station has a great location, is very clean, the staff is super nice and helpful with any problems, the maintenance comes within a day or so
Everything goes well! I like this apartment. The price of this apartment is a little expensive. The staff on this apartment are also very well.
Maintenance and office staff are super helpful! Internet is not always reliable but the staff respond quickly and to their fullest capacity.
Its okay. Close to campus. Its over priced, gym is puny and 1 of the 2 machines is broken. Usually pretty quiet and no big issues. Probably wouldnt resign lease again, parking is 150/month which is absurd on top of the lease utilities for a student. Theres no parking around unless you get a contract somewhere.
Room is clean with some basic furnitures .Air conditioner works perfectly, and staff are friendly. . But it could be noisy at night in room living near the street.
This is a nice place to live that is close to campus and popular restaurants. Although the apartment wasn’t clean when arriving and a few items in were not in good condition. Packages are also left outside the locked door which is sketchy when anyone could take them
staff were nice, it was hard to maneuver around a 2 hour rule for parking underground when moving in despite there being tons of available parking spaces and there were a lot of little things like wood and paint chips, malfunctioning or crooked equipment or appliances, and paint stains that I wasn’t expecting from such an expensive apartment.
I am only a few weeks from moving in, and I am very excited. I have visited the site for tours and such on multiple occasions, and each time was a pleasant experience. Everything was so nice looking, and the employees were incredibly kind and helpful. I look forward to moving in and spending the next year here!
It has been a pleasant experience living here. Sometimes there may be issue with homeless people in the lobby littering. Lots of fun activities throughout the year
The property is always clean and safe and I can use the gym whenever I want because rarely any one else uses it. It's also really quiet in the building, especially on the weekends and during the summer. It's right next to campus, the rail station, food options, parking ramps, the police station, a few parks, and boba!
I haven't moved in yet, but have had several experiences with the leasing office and others from the Station. All of my interactions have been absolutely wonderful so far. The employees are all very, very nice and helpful!
The Station on Washington is an excellent place to live. It’s in an amazing and efficient location and it never fails to make me feel safe. The staff is beyond amazing, making the building truly feel like a home. There’s no other place i’d rather live.
I have had a moderately positive experience. The apartment was located in a convenient area and was easily accessible by public transportation. The check-in process was smooth and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
I have lived at the Station for three years now and while it has never been an overwhelmingly positive experience, it became especially negative during this year. Leasing staff is dysfunctional and management is ineffective at best. Staff will not take accountability for their mistakes in severely misinforming residents about the status of their apartment and I now I am suffering the consequences of having a random person placed into my unit in the middle of my lease. Leasing staff made a mistake in telling me this would absolutely not happen, which was confirmed multiple times by my roommate; however, when the opportunity arose, the Station basically told us it was "too bad" that they made a mistake in giving us incorrect information and now we have to live with a stranger for the remainder of the lease. Save yourself the trouble, anywhere else in Stadium Village is worth looking at.
I have been staying at the station since 2019 and I absolutely love it here. Its been my home away from home and my experience has been only positive so far!
My son is starting his third year of living at The Station on Washington and loves it! He has lived there for two years finishing up college. We went to look for a new apartment after graduation, and couldn't find anything to compare with it. So, he's staying at The Station! Management is the best I've ever found by reacting to ANY repairs or problems in a unit immediately. The place is modern, clean, safe, and has a garage so you don't need to shovel your car out in the winter. Another plus is there are washer and dryers in the units so no need to spend time in a laundry room. Close to the freeway so you can get anywhere pretty quick. We Love It!
So far people are kind and helpful. the location of the place is very convenient because it is just across the light rail which I take very often when going to work and going to the airport. Restaurants and coffee shops are just around, school, hospital, police station, stadium, etc are very close by and walking distance.
Great student living. Loved the yoga room and my kitchen. Individual bedrooms are a bit small.
