Property Ratings at The Statler Residences
WOW....Is all i can say!!! Me and my husband came to visit this BEAUTIFUL property a few days ago and this was the BEST tour I've ever had looking for a high rise apartment home. Ron the resident liaison toured us and treated us like gold. His outgoing and warm personality really impressed us.....The Statler has best views in Dallas. Melanie the Property Manager was amazing, along with the leasing professional Alyssa and Concierge Tru' they all had a great caring vibe. My lease is up in "Up Town" in Oct, and i cant wait. The Statler Residences will be my new home. The units are sooooo beautiful. If your looking for a place that is warm, classy and welcoming. The Statler Residences is your best option.
The Statler staff, Ron & Alyssa were very easy going. The apartment and people here at the residency we’re almost like NYC style. Love the bar and restaurants downstairs! Will continue to come when I’m in town. Highly recommend this beautiful place in the heart of gorgeous city lights, Big D. Talk to Ron, he will get you in and out! You won’t be disappointed!
The Statler Residences are located in a stunning historic building and the apartments themselves are fine. Unfortunately, my review does take a negative turn. If you are planning on renting a unit on one of the top floors, beware of insanely loud music coming from Waterproof, The Statler Hotel’s rooftop bar, on Thursday through Sunday nights. The lounge is in such close proximity that it feels like the DJ is inside your apartment. Absolutely unbearable. There are also MAJOR leak and flooding issues happening on the top floor—both in apartments and common areas. Multiple neighbors of mine have had their belongings destroyed in huge floods. This has been happening for years now. All in all, the maintenance that is required to keep up with the building and units is not worth the current rental price points. I am honestly bewildered as to how The Statler Residences continue to advertise as a luxury apartment building. The building management is also extremely unpleasant and unprofessional—picking and choosing to address certain situations and not others.
I literally called and left emails to speak with someone for 4 days to no avail. Finally I reached someone and the person I spoke with was very rude and unprofessional. I even told him I could pay 3 months in advance and he laughed. All he told me was the unit I was interested in was for housing vouchers. Ok... I have cash and he did not make any effort to look or make a recommendation for me. Rude! Rude! Rude! How much business have y’all lost behind your poor customer service?
Under no circumstances would I advise moving into this apartment. Communication is null between leasing office and residents, ongoing maintenance issues go unresolved and problems with property management and building ownership go unanswered.

I think that the residence side is obviously new so there are lots of issues arrising. The windows are old and let cold and hot air into the apartment which caused us to have to buy a space heater which isn’t cool with how much we pay for rent. We also have water all over the windows and window seals. So the windows are a big issue that if it doesn’t get resolved soon could result in mold or bigger issues. And I also feel that the parking garage isn’t good. There are no mirrors so you can’t see when going up or down the ramp.. which leads me to believe it’s only a matter of time before people start hitting each other as the complex fills up.
The lack of hot water in the shower is an issue. I’ve recommended the apartment to two friends who loved my apartment but when I told them how I had to run the shower for close to an hour and still had no hot water, it was a deal breaker. I stopped recommending the apartment at that point.
I feel comfortable and safe. When I Say I live at the Statler Residences people become very animated and our interaction level becomes much more engaged.
