The Highlands/Perkins neighborhood of Baton Rouge is located just south of downtown, nestled into the curves of the Mississippi River. A relatively upscale area, Highlands/Perkins offers a range of mid-rise apartments and single-family homes that showcase the best the Bayou State has to offer. A convenient location just across Interstate 10 from Downtown Baton Rouge means residents will always be close to the action. The neighborhood is also home to Louisiana State University, and there’s a welcome youthful energy courtesy of the campus and its students. There are diverse cuisines to explore including Cajun and Creole foods near the university and just off the interstate. Breweries have sprung up near the river and there are well-maintained parks to explore both near the water and closer to Downtown Baton Rouge.

Property Ratings at Altitude Baton Rouge
The living conditions are Horrible. The Entire complex of full of dog poop and urine…The Staff doesn’t care or solve problems. Nate and Roaches are everywhere…Smells like weed…Extremely loud…children and dogs running everywhere. The roommates matching process is a complete waist of time and energy.

We are truly sorry to hear about the unpleasant experience you've had in our complex. Your feedback is very essential to us and we want to assure you that these issues are not taken lightly. We have escalated your concerns regarding the cleanliness of common areas, pest control, and roommate matching process for immediate attention by our management team. For any noise or other disturbances, we urge residents to report such incidents when they occur so we can address them promptly.
The management doesn't care at all. They give you exactly what you didn't want in the name of roommate matching. My roommate smokes weed always and I hate the smell. All they have to say is "Is it okay if she smokes in the bathroom? " and this is when they know it's weed! Roommate's dog urinated in the middle of living room. I had asked them in writing for a non-smoking and no pet unit. Premises filled with dog poops and urine. It's open-gated, not safe. Extremely uncooperative.

I AM SO GLAD I AM NOT LIVING THERE ANYMORE I filed a complaint with the state. My AC broke multiple times and at one point the electricity went out for 24 hours making all our food in the fridge go bad. High Managment turn over ( 4 in the past year) and they got mad when i tried to enforce the notice to come in requirements. It got so bad to the point that the office refused to talk to me even to help me pick up a package. They told me me ttexting for information was disruptive to the office environment. They also at one point treied to tell me i could only contact corporate for the remainder of the lease eveen though they would . take work orders, text, or allow everyone else come down to the office. When i moved out the AC was broken again. They told me they would talk to my reletter but were done talking to me. Corprate contact was Erica, She was always "out of the office" yet was suddenly there when my friends husband called. CeeCee the manager hung up on me multiple times. Cristal the corporate, lady on site was soooo rude and told me maybe being hot with my AC broken and the unit being 80 degree" may be an issue with me and perhaps i should go see a doctor" but it wasn't their problem. I WILL NOT BE LIVING THERE AGAIN.
