Part of Jacksonville's downtown area, Southbank is separated from the rest of downtown by the St. John's River, which encompasses this peninsula on three sides. The area features art, culture, great food, and some spectacular views, making it an exciting place to live. Have lived here a couple months now and love it. Maintenance crushes it, have showed up the same day I have submitted tickets both times I've needed something. Amenities are great. Location is great. Staff is great. Coffee in the lobby is great. Only area I would suggest for improvement is guest parking, really hard to have guests if they cant get a spot on the street. Would be cool to contract with the bank building to the right to see about getting some guest passes over there.

We could not have picked a better place for our first journey into apartment living! We love our space, the location is perfect, the amenities are very nice. Everyone at the concierge desk is pleasant and very helpful. Only been here 2 weeks but quite happy with our choice.
We love our apartment. We have lived in other cities and always lived in houses for 47 years. The apartment is just right -size, location and amenities.
Everything is good. Wish the steam room was working. The front desk people are very friendly. I love the gym and the set up for receiving mail.
All the staff at the Strand have been super helpful and kind as we navigated moving into a sky rise for the first time. Lots of changes but all for the best. The neighbors are so kind and friendly, it truly is a breath of fresh air living in this community. We are loving it here at the Strand and hope to live here for many years to come.
Love the location and all of the amenities! Some areas of the building and units could use some TLC, but otherwise it's great and you can't beat the views or walkability.
The Strand Apts. offers a safe, friendly environment in downtown Jacksonville on the scenic St. Johns River. The helpful staff, including 24 hour concierge services and nighttime security are a plus. Occasionally, events organized by the staff encourage residents to come together.
As a former long-time Northbank resident, we are loving it here on the Southbank Jax! The Strand is a gorgeous, well kept building with attentive and efficient staff. Watching dolphins play from our balcony facing the St. John's has been our favorite part of living here so far.
We just moved into the building and have been very pleasantly surprised with how wonderful, professional, and quick to reapond to questions and concerns management, staff, maintenance, and concierge have been! The community is beautiful, neighbors are friendly, and we are happy to call The Strand our new home.
I love living here. Wonderful community in this building. Great views, amenities, staff, and area. Everything is within walking distance and scooters right outside for commuting or fun.
One of the best management team, from maintenance team to the management team, are always helpful and friendly. Activities offered made you feel appreciated to be a part of the Strand’s residents.
My experience living here has been good but I have had this nagging problem with my refrigerator. Management has told maintenance to replace it over a month ago after dealing with this for the last four or five months.
We live at 9th floor, and we are very happy with our decision! Spacious rooms, good natural light in all rooms! New features. Amazing view!! Recommend

The Strand apartments, an amazing place to live. We have been living here more than five years now. This is a very nice community to live in and enjoy the river walk every day. Spacious rooms and kitchen. Great living room for get togethers with your loved ones. There’s kids park and library nearby that I enjoy going with my son. Once you started living here you will fall in love with this place.
The Strand is an amazing property on the river with a great view of the downtown Jacksonville skyline. 24 hour concierge service and garage parking.

Living in my apartment has been an incredible experience, and even after 3 years, it still feels as fresh and new as the day I moved in. The amenities available here are fantastic, and the security is truly top-tier – John, our concierge, is my personal favorite! One of the highlights of my apartment has to be the breathtaking views it offers. These views have given me a whole new perspective on Jacksonville, and I couldn't be happier to call this place my home. It's been an amazing three-year journey, and I look forward to more wonderful moments here.

So far so good. Everyone is so helpful. Only issue was locking down the elevator to move. Had to unload a 20 ft U-Haul in 2 out of the 3 hour window for locking the elevator down due to delay. Other than that beautiful view, quiet, safe, spacious, perfect.

This is a great community. Not only the easy assess to the riverwalk is wonderful but also here’s many restaurants options to choose. Kids playground and activities nearby. Awesome staff and maintenance people. Overall a good place to live and enjoy life.

The Strand is a safe, friendly residence on a beautiful riverfront location, convenient to the downtown Jacksonville/ San Marco offerings. Having 24 hour Concierge/Security presence is very important to me, as is covered parking garage.

The Strand is a great place to live! Location is perfect for downtown work force & entertainment. The view of the city from every apt is stunning. Maintenance repairs are completed in a timely manner. The staff is always willing to assist! The Strand feels like home vs an apartment building.

Here since January and love it. Staff is fabulous. View from balcony is spectacular. I would highly recommend The Strand. I would like more community activities.
Since we moved here in Sept 22, it has been like living in a permanent vacation...Every one is friendly, talking about neighbors and personnel.
I moved in July of 2022 and so far I LOVE IT. one awkward experience, but it was handled in a timely manner, in my opinion. Amenities are AWESOME. And the residents here are so nice, especially residents with fur babies.
We love living at The Strand! therefore we just renewed our lease!!! Everyone is so nice and helpful. John the Concierge is always going above and beyond and has a great attitude. Everything is always clean and up to part. We love the new market :) The only thing thing that I would change would be to add umbrellas to the pool area. Thank you for all you do!
Love The Strand! It is so quiet and peaceful while having all the amenities of a luxury hotel. My views are fantastic! Walking the riverwalk and then over the Main Street Bridge is like walking a national park. I'm only disappointed that I didn't find the Strand sooner.
Location can't be beat. Front desk personnel is excellent. Office staff not so much.
The lobby area is absolutely terrible. Does not reflect high end and looks like a mailroom . The mail lockers should be located in a different space considering there is amble space. The lockers block lighting and overall mood when entering the main space of the building.
Great location, generally well maintained. But inconsistencies in quality of concierge staffing, hardly any management communication, frequent repairs required to garage door which has led to burglaries are concerning

The service we've received from the maintenance dept. over the course of our lease has been excellent.
