Property Ratings at The Stratton
The staff that The Stratton has had for the last 8 months has been the best staff this property has ever had. They listen to any concerns I have had and are quick with resolutions. With apartment living there are going to be issues that come up and let me just say they are on it! I know sometimes people can have a bad experience and be quick to write a negative review but what they do not consider is that the team really does listen to our concerns but there is a process to everything. The location is perfect for me, it is close to downtown and basically in Hillard but still tucked away and peaceful. I've enjoyed the Stratton so much in the last year and can't wait to renew!
LISTEN PLEASE! DO NOT RENT HERE! They use a submetering company by the name of APL Power and electric that charges an insane amount. Just to put things in perspective all of my electronics are on surge strips that turn off when I leave. If I'm not using something its off (computers, lights etc). Starting with my move in on august(2 weeks of billing) to November my electric bill was the following: $129, $223, $80 , $544.88. There's no typo.
The staff in the front have been extremely nice and willing to help with any problems I have. The complex is clean and well maintained. It’s a nice and quite area.
I have lived here for 2 years and I love it. New owners seem to care about the residents and property and make it all the better. Layouts are spacious and everything is new and up to date. I couldn’t recommend enough!
Es muy buena la atención por todo el personal, te extienden bien y sus instalaciones están en perfectas condiciones. Pueden mudarse aquí todo está al 100% funcional para estar y vivir
It’s been an experience living here and having management changed every couple weeks, everything is built cheap. No one takes care of the property. Glass everywhere all the time in the parking lot, no refills on the animal potty stations. It’s just been an experience. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to live here with the how it’s priced.
I have a bad experience, I didn’t like when they increase the rent 300 it too much and there’s no activities and they broke my car classes they don’t caver the price to fix it
Very nice place to live, they keep it clean, if you need anything they respond quickly. I definitely recommend it. The people I have dealt with are friendly.
Beautiful property and Managment. Clean and the staff is well versed in what’s available but also customer service. I would definitely recommend.
I love it here it’s so nice I like the island patio and more space. I can’t wait until next summer so I can use the pool. Maintenance comes fast as well
So far so good, everything is beautiful in the apartment and I’ve had no issues so far. This apartment is in great condition couldn’t be more please with the way it looks
El aparatamento esta bello, el complejo esta limpio, tranquilo y uno se siente en casa lo recomiendo!!! Uno puede caminar con sus hijo o perros todo esta limpio y tranquilo
Very nice apartments but the leasing office is very unorganized and confusing. We had over 5 mess ups with just finding my correct address. The lady gave me a address and said sign your lease and it was still wrong! Still no welcome letter or valet trash can has been given to me. I have had to take my trash somewhere else to throw it away which makes no sense if im paying for trash.
I have been very pleased with my experience so far. The community is nice, upgraded finishing touches, and nice amenities. Yolanda, at the front desk has been wonderful to work with and she goes above and beyond for her customers. Even when very busy, she has a sweet demeanor and it shows that she cares about doing her job well.
Great management, and beautiful property. You are in a great location, well taken care of ponds that look nice on the property along with bike trails. You also many grocery stores and food options around the area.

Very beautiful scenery. Pleasant neighbors. Community events. Very spacious apartments with upgraded appliances. Wonderful property management.
It’s been a great experience relocating to Columbus. The apartment community is beautiful, and offers many amenities. To top it off, it’s extremely peaceful.
I love living here it’s just like being out in the country my apartment is just a perfect size for me The apartment complex is close to everything or my shopping needs
My experience at my apartment hasn't been to bad.i just wish that other neighbors would have some respect for other neighbors. And people with dogs would clean up after them
Nice place to live. The two staff members, Maintenance and the person who shows the apartment was very welcoming and friendly. They made me feel like I was family.
The complex was really nice before this new Administration came. They don’t have a clue of what they are doing! And they’ve increased the rent by $300 and just have worsen everything. The trash compactor doesn’t work. The pool is nasty because they never emptied it to clean it, the grill is broke and the fire place doesn’t work eighther. Besides they play with your money every single time!
overall my experience here at cornerstone village has been kind of iffy. we have had 3 property managers in less than 1 year but i can say i have seen some improvement with Lincoln property management. If you want privacy this probably isn’t the place for you, walls are paper thin so you can hear everything your neighbor is saying, apartments do have a bug problem but Lincoln property management had someone come out in less that 5 days to exterminate, so i can’t really complain. There is no much to do at these apartments, there is no dog park, no computer room or playground which are all things that would be really nice to have here.
My experience has been okay so far. There has been a lot of people moving out of my building so it’s been much quieter. I’ve been living here for a little over a year and there has been 3 different property management companies. Not sure what that’s about.
This apartment complex is terrible do not move here. All the cars get broken into and the management is terrible, they don’t do anything to fix it. We have emailed them a bunch of times no response. We had to go into the office to ask about why they weren’t answering and the office staff just doesn’t give me an answer. We’ve also had THREE different companies this past year we’ve lived here and each one of them adds new things to our bills or changes what was said/done before like adding $25 for trash services which WE DIDNT ASK FOR. The location also sucks so all the 5 stars reviews saying the location is good or that the office staff are great are a bunch of LIES!! Seriously don’t live here the rent is too high for it being an absolute awful place. I have absolutely nothing good to say about this apartment complex.
Where do I begin. This has single handedly been the worst community I have ever lived in. Since moving in, in June of 2022, there have been THREE property management companies. Utilities are not sub-metered so you will be paying an average bill across all alike units. I paid $222 dollars one month for electric, living in a 2b2b by myself, and $115 for water. The trash compactors are always over filled and rancid due to lazy tenants not pushing their trash bags all the way to the back of the compactor (there are two of them, the other one was ran into / destroyed, and still has yet to be fixed). Someone was shot in this apartment complex in February of 2023, and to put the icing on the cake, my car that I have had for a week was broken into last night. Security cameras? Yes! but they are not operational, so to whoever robbed my car, I hope you are enjoying the sunglasses case, pack of gum, and phone charger you low life piece of trash. Bottom of the line is DO NOT move into this complex, there are hundreds of better options in the area.
I am very happy that I rented here. My house has a very nice view. I like the staff here because they take care of my problems as soon as possible. Also, the garbage removal staff do a great job.
Dumpster has been falling apart in front of apartments. Doesn’t seem like anybody cares enough to fix or remove it. New staff seems awesome though so hopefully things turn around! Could also use some speed bumps to stop people from speeding through. Overall not the worst but not anything special either.
The previous management was so disorganized and unprofessional. The new management is trying to fix their mistakes but it’s not not enough. The rent is too high compared to other places. I think that’s why a lot of ppl moved out.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely apartment and I must say that it exceeded all of my expectations. The apartment is beautifully furnished and equipped with all the modern amenities that one could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The living area is spacious and inviting, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The bedroom is cozy and comfortable, with soft linens on the floor. The bathroom is clean and well-appointed, with a powerful shower and bath tub. But what really sets this apartment apart is its location. It's conveniently located near several shops, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. And the building itself is safe, new and secure, with friendly and attentive staff who are always available to help with any questions or concerns. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the city.
Rent is too much for 2 bedroom and my house was flooded and none of my stuff got replaced maintenance don’t come fix anything I can go on and on
a comfortable and safe place to live! It is new and located in a central place! summer in this outfit is so much fun, they do a lot of activities! we really are very comfortable to belong to Cornestone Village
Cornerstone was great to move into last year; however, the complex has been changed over twice since the initial owner. There are no elevators here, which makes it difficult for older people to maneuver groceries and such up the stairs to the 3rd floor. The new management seems nice, but I have noticed some things in need of repair. The rents are being jacked by about 17%, which doesn't include a $25 trash charge and insurance coverage of $xx.xx for the building structure (not including renter's insurance).
I really love living here. I love my apartment. This is my first apartment by myself.and I am glad that I choose thos one.the location is good.
I love my apartment it just right for me the space is just right everyone in the office is great answering my questions and they give great service
I like living here for several reasons, such as: the apartment was new, it's comfortable, it's central to the commercial areas, and the rental price seems good to me.
I have had a good experience living here since I was the first one in my apartment. The only downside is that they keep getting bought out by different leasing companies which makes paying rent each month a hassle.
Nice place, quiet. Office is responsive and maintenance is timely. During the winter storm this past winter they communicated well when pipes burst and worked on getting water back.
I would not recommend living in this community. The leasing office does nothing about trash overflow, dog droppings everywhere, electrical problems, etc. They always say they will install cameras to help some of these issues, but they never do. Whenever there is a maintenance issue (which there is often), they say there is nothing that can be done. Was once told the reason they couldn't stop our electricity from going out multiple times a day was because of "Chinese circuit boards". When you ask to speak to someone in charge, you are always referred to the property manager who never has answers and blames the owners (who you cannot speak to). The increased rent by 25% with 2 months notice, and have added payments for garbage pickup that no one asked for. Building and apartment may look nice at first glance, but so so so many issues. Electrical, plumbing, air, giant caps on front door, etc. Many buildings flooded during the winter and I can't even imagine what else. Don't live here!!!
I love it here. really wanting to renew my lease. i can’t wait for summer and all of the events that will be going on. & the pool party’s they host. come join the family! ITS WORTH IT
Would not recommend. Trash compactors are always broken. Cars are always getting broken into. And the new management company keeps charging us for things we don’t even use. Can not wait until our lease is up!
Staff will not honor your referral discount. After signing a one year lease in February, we were planning to renew our lease because we truly enjoy the apartment. Until today receiving our only option for renewal at a $300 increase. Great way to treat loyal tenants! Living space is good, staff is horrible. Avoid Sundance properties!
I have nothing bad to say about this place.. great staff. Clean property. And very welcoming
Spacious and newly built!! Open floor plan from kitchen to patio, dark color scheme makes for a more luxurious feel than most apartments in the area. Still under construction but separate entrance for crews makes it like it’s not even happening!! Close to both Robert’s and Rome Hilliard Rd and 3 different freeway exits making it a great location to get to! Gym, pool table, movie room and business center with printer in clubhouse adds to the outdoor pool area with fire pit. Lots of rules to remember but any questions are pleasantly answered by the staff and Im a question asker!!!! They have definitely been very helpful from speaking to Tessa on the phone before even applying (with even more questions) to my weekly (or daily) inquiries the staff is never rude or impolite and really go above and beyond what most other places I’ve lived in before. It’s new so ironing out kinks is to be expected, staff is pretty transparent about progress they won’t just tell you some scripted responses or timeframes. Not enough neighbors to be able to tell what the complex will eventually be like but LOTS more buildings being added so don’t wait, call or visit and help positively create the community and move into a brand new home!!! It’s always fun to know you are the first and only person who has ever lived in your home!!
Easy fast move in, hassle and headache free besides the messy condition my “ brand new “ unit was in. Didn’t seem or feel brand new from low quality contract work but other than that great community. High standards, awesome staff and great location ! Would recommend to a friend !
