The building, location and amenities are great - but the level of basic professionalism is missing across the board. Packages are constantly missing only to show up behind the desk days later, communication on maintenance is unprofessional across a number of facets, units are poorly maintained and appliances / plumbing is constantly needing repair. There is elevator maintenance constantly - which should not be the case with a building built in 2020. Community events don't build community - the events are often not nearty enough food and take place in the lobby, causing that space to get chaotic. The front desk concierge are often cold and I have seen tense interactions occur with residents on a number of occasions. We love the building, the community of residents and pictured ourselves here for a number of years (and have considered upgrading our apartment to extra BR) but Greystar has really ruined every aspect of service making living here more of a headache when many residents come to a building this nice to get rid of those headaches. We have now considered leaving after 1 year.

The Sudbury is luxury at its best. A beautiful building in the heart of downtown Boston with incredible views and services. The employees are approachable, warm, and friendly. The proximity to the North End, TD Garden, Downtown Crossing, and so many great places to eat and shop make this a standout option for living. The building is very dog friendly with a pet spa and outdoor area for dogs. There are so many amazing amenities including a professional gym, chef's kitchen, pool, etc. It is a truly excellent experience and my neighbors are so nice and friendly, too!

I've lived at the building for 4 years and have watched it fall apart more and more each year. The building used to be amazing to live in but has become a daily nightmare. I'm looking forward to moving out when my lease expires.

I love living here at The Sudbury> For three years now I have enjoyed the community of neighbors, made friends, and felt cared about by management and staff. The amenities are fantastic, including the barbecue area and the dog park and pet spa. Maintenance is timely. And the location! You can't beat the nearness to the MBTA green and orange lines and buses, shopping, the greenway, Boston Public Market, restaurants (including the famous Union Oyster House), Faneuil Hall, medical facilities, museums...I could go on. Did you know we are about 4 blocks from the Boston Gardens...no need to search for parking during sporting events and concerts? Nuff said. You will definitely like it here.

The building is so beautiful - the cleaning staff are working 24/7, the common areas/lobby/gym could not be more clean and beautiful! Everything outside of rent is another cost - to replace your key or get a spare is $75/ takes a few days, parking in the garage next to the building is over $500 a month - things like that. The front desk/managing staff are generally friendly. I’m a younger resident under 30 so maybe that’s part of it but I still feel like I’m always doing something wrong/nervous to ask questions. I wish the common outdoor spaces were dog friendly (if leashed), it’s a bummer to have to leave your pup inside when you want to go enjoy. The video tour of the actual apartment I ended up moving into showed a regular oven, so I was pretty disappointed when I moved in and instead had a “fancy” microwave I still can’t work. Lots of construction on the building’s east side, sound isn’t bad but views will be changing and that wasn’t discussed in my lease/considered in my rent.

Living at The Sudbury has been an absolute dream! Since moving here in February, I still can't believe this is my home. The location is unbeatable, with the lively North End neighborhood offering fantastic dining and entertainment options right at my doorstep. The apartment itself is beautifully designed, with modern amenities and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The views of the city, especially from the Sky Lounge at night, are breathtaking. The Dog Walk area with a spot to bathe your furry friend has been incredibly convenient. The management team, especially Katie, has been exceptional, ensuring that my living experience here is comfortable and enjoyable. The concierge desk is also fantastic, always personable, helpful, and accommodating—like providing creamer for those early mornings when I've run out. I highly recommend The Sudbury to anyone looking for a fantastic place to live.

Absolutely love living at The Sudbury. The location is great and it is easy to get around Boston using the T or walking. The building itself is very clean and pleasant. The associates working at the front desk, maintenance, etc. are very kind and helpful.

Such a great place to live. I recently went to Disney and the hotels are very nice and they alwars say welcome home. Everything us top notch and always clean. Well I turned to my wife and said we already live at the Sudbury so we are used to this. Here at the Sudbury the other awesome thing is the neighbors all interact and build a community of great friends. The staff is awesome maintenance, cleaning, concierge, activities, leasng everyone is intertwined and sharing a hello.

The location, amenities and interior finish of the building are amazing. Tons of monthly events and concierge is friendly. However deducting 2 stars for serious false advertising of apartment dimensions. I selected a unit without viewing (it wasnt available to view yet) and the bedroom was 2 feet shorter on BOTH length AND width, equating to about 50 square feet less than advertised. They try to skirt the issue with a lame "Variance" disclaimer however 27% difference in square footage is not a variance, its blatant false advertising. It was so materially different than what I expected that some of my furniture I had ordered had to be returned. I can recommend still but with a strong caution to measure every unit yourself and do not rent a unit without seeing first.

Great location and wonderful staff. Amenities are fantastic. Social events help interaction amongst residents. Elevators have been very slow lately. Noise from construction at the Government center Garage has been ongoing.

Move in experience was great. Smooth process and very helpful staff, who helped me at every step. Also the information provided to set up insurance, utilities, etc were accurate and very easy to follow

Living in this vibrant community has been a wonderful journey filled with happiness. My experience at this residence has been quite frustrating due to the prolonged elevator issue. The elevator has been out of service for an extended period, which has made it extremely inconvenient, especially for residents with mobility challenges. Despite numerous complaints, the management has failed to address the problem promptly. Additionally, my interactions with the leasing officer have been disappointing. Their lack of respect and professionalism when dealing with residents' concerns has been disheartening. It's essential for any residential community to have responsive and respectful staff, and unfortunately, this has not been the case here. These issues have significantly impacted my overall satisfaction with living in this residence.

Living at The Sudbury is an amazing experience. The staff is friendly and welcoming, greeting you by name and even stopping to pet your dog when you walk in the door. The community is vibrant, and it’s easy to mingle with other tenants. The free morning deluxe coffee is a great way to start the day, and the beautiful view of Boston is breathtaking. The views from the 32nd floor are also stunning. I especially love the dog community on the 9th floor, where I get to meet all kinds of fun dogs and converse about life in general with a great group of people. John B

I’ve lived at the Sudbury for a 5 months now. The building is as nice if not better than advertised. The staff is great and always helpful and the amenities are the best I’ve had in any building before.

I love living here! Perfect community, great monthly events to meet with neighbors and have different experiences, and great amenities. The maintenance team is very responsive; they always stop by the same day, if not in a couple of hours, after creating a work order. The concierge staff is very friendly, always welcoming you with a smile.

Overall it's been great. The staff at the lobby desk, maintenance, and cleaning crews are excellent. The community activities here are also appreciated, and we're looking forward to more events. Really cool how there is a station for soap refills in the basement, and a coffee maker for everyone. Our only complaints are that sometimes an elevator is down but that has only been a minor inconvenience--especially considering how many floors and people are serviced. The worst that's happened is how the bike room air pump is broken, without any notice around (so I wasted time troubleshooting my bike) and its door lock still doesn't work on some keys while working for others. Improvement could be to make more info available, such as what's not working in the bike area and also what can be recycled. For example the lease agreement specifies using bags but WM receptacle says NO plastic bags. Which plastics numbers do they take? Signage would be useful next to each chute.

Building has gone downhill - resident events are more frustrating than fun, at times there is only 1 elevator running for the entire building. The value for the building has never been lower. Despite a rule against running a business out of the amenities, there are non-residents using the gym constantly with a trainer. I would look at other buildings for the price.

First night was wonderful. Staff are extremely friendly, common areas are immaculate and my apartment was much quieter than expected, hardly heard anything from the street!

Incredible atmosphere and staff. Always have events to get to know people! Amenities include gym, pool, golf simulator, and pet park, which is extremely helpful for dog owners. The only slight issue is the elevators, which recently have been down frequently, with normal waits between 5-7 minutes, which is hard for a high rise. Additionally, I know of at least 3 people to have gotten stuck on the elevators for 30 minutes this month alone with minimal apologies.

The Sudbury is a great building - the staff and amenities are fabulous and it is always kept spotlessly clean. The neighborhood is central and easy to walk everywhere but immediate area is a bit desolate at times.

The amenities are nice like the gym and lounge areas. The only downsides are the elevators and package organization system. The elevators always smell horrible like wet dogs and dog pee/poop. They are also terribly slow. expect to wait a long time for an elevator. As for the packages, there are 3 ways you can retrieve your package and there is no logic to which one of the 3 ways it will come in.

The building is in a great location and the team members at the front desk and throughout the building are fantastic! The amenities are outstanding and when people come to visit, they say I live in a resort. I do wish that renters were able to secure an assigned parking spot in the Government Center Parking Garage….we pay a lot for our residence, so it would be nice to have that option. Even if it was a bit more per month.

I’ve enjoyed living here however I’ve noticed that lately there are a lot of issues in terms of the elevators, not working, and having to wait a long time. Sometimes the amenity spaces and elevators are not as clean, and the concierge have not been greeting people at the door. I have enjoyed my experience living here over all, but these are some of the changes that I have noticed since I’ve moved in. All so I’ve noticed some cracks in the ceiling and the floor boards are coming up. There’s incredible space and location and amenities.

I have been living here for about 3 years now and I wouldn’t ever move unless I’m moving into a home I purchased.
