I moved here from Canada, sight unseen and am very happy. Excellent customer service, prompt maintenance crew, gorgeous landscaping, excellent automated package pickup, two pools and they put on monthly events. My unit has a vaulted ceiling and is small but perfect for my budget. I am very happy and highly recommend The Summit at Sunridge Apartments and Picerne Management - especially Stacia Drain. She walked me through it all - long distance - and continues to be the best.
I moved-in on Jul 23 2018 and on the first day i gave complaint about various issues in my apartment(1116) to the front office but till date no action has been taken. Most annoying issue is the Air conditioner which makes a metal clicking noise when it runs and when it starts it makes a big thumping sound. I am really disappointed as my issues are not resolved and I regret moving to Summit. Your staff seriously followed up with me to pay my deposit and move-in charges but not on checking whether the apartment was ready to rent out. I feel i was tricked and rented this apartment with these open issues and i am suffering with this stupid AC.

The leasing agent was awesome, however we are not choosing this property because the traffic is very loud if your on the ends and the walls are very easily jumped. One area had only a 2 foot hop over, so it’s not at all secure. There was a lot of gang graffiti aka tags, around the area. I did not feel safe walking around the property. The apartment we looked at was tiny. Looking else where.

I have been living here at summit for almost a year. I am renewing my lease based on the maintance techs, Tyrone, Miguel, Campbell and Tony. All of them are very professional in what they do. They take care of your repairs straight away, and they are always pleasant to work with, and they actually want you to report your repairs so they can fix it right away. These apartments are at least 20 plus years old and they are very well maintained and the grounds and the aminities are so well taken care of. Seriously the Maintance Techs are who is keeping this complex well maintained. Thank you guys for all your hard work and maintaining your professionalism. Cheers

The management of this complex has improved in the last year. The manager is new and the expectations for staff to be responsive to the concerns/needs of the tenants has been raised to a commendable level. Two years ago, I would have given this complex 1 Star due to poor communication, slow response of the maintenance crew to complete repairs, and overall lack of respect for the property and its tenants. However, as a result of the impressive turn-around mentioned above, this complex now earns 4 Stars.
This apartment complex is currently in an excellent location, near shopping, excellent schools and 15 minutes driving to to downtown Las Vegas. However, the physical structure is approximately 25 years old with minimum up keep. They are in the process of remodeling several units but at an additional cost of 200-300 dollars per unit. The cost for a two bedroom apartment is equivalent to renting a single story house with the same bedrooms. Besides rent, the occupant is responsible for water and electric which for some reason is also equal to what you would pay in a home. The complex has two nice pools, but the larger of the two has been routinely closed for a week or more at a time by the Health department during 2014 and 2015. Parking is not a problem. and garages are available for rent for an additional fee, based on availability. The complex is gated and you are permitted only one remote per family. You can connect your phone number for entry but only if it is a local exchange. If you have maintained a cell phone from another state they will not allow you to use that number. This sometimes requires residents who have more than one resident to have to wait at the gate for entry. The units are spacious but older units have issues with peeling paint on walls and cabinets, and old appliances. Very low quality carpeting in the units also creates some issues as they are hard to keep clean. The apartment manager and his staff are visible in the office but slow to respond to request for apartment related issues. They have no full time maintenance staff available on the weekend except for fire or water emergency. Waiting for a repair of an appliance has been 3-6 days. The "green" areas of the complex are being converted to desert landscaping. There are approximately four-six BBQ grills in the complex with a working rate of about 50%. Other than the pools, there are no designated areas for children to play. Residents are required to give 60 day notice upon moving, deposits are rarely returned in full. If you want to rent on a month to month basis it will cost an additional 115 dollars per month. There is no security assigned to the property. The complex does post monthly activity calender detailing upcoming activities:pool party, free breakfast or coloring contest for kids, etc. The complex does have a fitness room with a $25.00 refundable key deposit, and access to the internet is available at the office.
This is my first apartment. And for being a 22 year old it is everything I've wanted and for a "cheap" price range. The neighbors are friendly (aren't nosey) and the atmosphere is what I would call safe and amazing. Close to every restaurant my little heart desires. Not to mention my dogs love it here. Its a great starter apartment.
