Dallas is one of the largest cities in America, combining urban sophistication with an incomparable Texan personality. Dallas is an altogether unique blend of cultures, styles, and flavors, with more than one million people calling the city proper home.
Living in Dallas puts you right in the thick of it all, with endless options to customize your experience. Corporate professionals seeking to avoid long commutes may want to look for apartments in Downtown or Uptown, which are both home to major business centers as well as residential communities, affording many residents walkable access to work. Culture enthusiasts should consider apartments near the Dallas Arts District, which is home to the Nasher Sculpture Center, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Winspear Opera House, and more. Creatives may enjoy places like Old East Dallas and North Oak Cliff, where artistic pursuits abound.
Dallas offers some of the most diverse nightlife in Texas, from laid-back lounges to thumping night clubs.

Property Ratings at The Sutton on Park Lane
So bad apartment complex and management. the apartment is full of insects and cockroaches. no notice before the excessive increase in rent and the addition of other charges.
They might be cheap apartments but not worth it. The number of times that we have came home to find either that the water had been shut off with no notice or that the hot water had been shut off with no notice “for repairs” is insane. There has been at least one instance a month since we moved in in august where we have came home and found out the water wasn’t working only to go to the office and have them be very snippy when we ask why there’s no water “because it’s off for repairs it’ll be back soon”. They have the capability to do mass texts and emails, they do it for other things. But when it comes to not having running water it’s too inconvenient to let people know. There’s also the bug issue. We noticed the day we moved in that there were bugs in the apartment. We had someone out to spray but it doesn’t matter, they come back no matter how clean the apartment is. It’s been a problem for a long enough time that we found a bug that has just been painted over. We’re honestly just counting down until our lease is up to be able to leave this place. Would give zero stars if possible
There are roaches no matter the precautions you take. The stairs have become unattached to the building so they wobble and sway as you walk up or down them. The neighbors don't have any respect for anyone else. Parking is absolutely horrendous, I have to park on the other side of the complex if I'm home late. They do not tow any cars even if they don't have a resident sticker, which most don't. Maintenance is almost non-existent. We continuously lose hot water and management has done nothing about it. Their maintenance man's suggestion was to run all the faucets in the apartment until it gets hot... There are a lot of drugs in the building, one night a man started knocking on our door and windows, peaking into our apartment and when I confronted him he was beyond high/drunk.
They take their sweet time to resolve hazardous & dangerous problems, they could careless.
Bathroom tub was not correctly refurbished. It was sprayed over (painted over) now peels and clogs pipes, roaches infest the complex and effects all units even if yours is serviced, windows have no screens, apartments are easily broken into regardless of deadbolt on main door again windows are outdated, one blind installed in living room with no string to open and close. The one bedroom window has absolutely no blinds installed, dumpsters are overflowing with trash and maintenance is next to non-existant as well as frequent domestic disputes, loud arguing, fighting during the day. Apartment unit is outdated just ugly interior and what amenities? Parking is a joke. Bad area Bad structure all the way around. Do yourself a favor spend your money on quality not just location.
Nice place to live. Within walkin distance of steak and shake!!??????
The new management sucks, they tow residents cars for no reason.
These apartments are semi safe, their is noone kicking your door in tho. The maintenance team changes often , so things that need to be fixed takes forever, you have to hound them to fix things. make sure they have sprayed for bed bugs before you move in. Its kool for short term ,
Older apartments, fairly quite neighbors. Top Golf and Target are within walking distance.
