Property Ratings at The Tallows
Been here for like a month, it’s a nice, quiet and safe apartment. There have been maintenance issues here and there, but they have so responsive to fix all the issues. Great staff at the office too, always ready to help.
The positive about these apartments is that I live safe and quiet here. Most people are family oriented.
I have been here for a month and love it! There have been things here and there that need to be fixed but thats normal anywhere you live. The staff here are super friendly and helpful! There hasnt been a time I had an issue that it wasnt resolved quickly. Julie, Maryam, Tony, Mauricio and Matt have all been so kind and has made my experience here amazing so far! I love the community and how easy it is to get to stores and major highways!
Hands down one of the best apartments homes I lived at. Staff is very responsive and nice. Maintenance always assist me within 24/48 hours of not sooner.

The Tallows definitely get 2 thumbs up in my book. The staff is awesome and its always a pleasure speaking with them. Ive been here almost 2 years and always got treated with respect. If it wasnt for me purchasing a home I wouldve definitely called The Tallows home another 2 years
The management team is friendly and professional.. maintenance is fast and complete.. love the size of my apartment and my neighbors are all quite and respectful.
The only upside is the place is quiet. Other than that. You pay $25 for valet trash only to find out the company that picks up throughs it in the dumpster. I can do that. The dumpster is overflowing all over the ground most days. Package delivery service fee of $10 even if you don't use it. The office does not return emails. Horrible office staff.
Been here for a bit over a month. Apartment was not ready at move in. Electrical issues that haven't been addressed. Had to request pest control after having to kill several cockroaches, and been currently battling them for a water leak from the bedroom window. Every time it rains I have water in the apartment, in the carpet. They take no accountability and all they seem to tell me is that a contractor will replace or fix it but here we are. Do yourself a favor and find a different place.
The leasing office lied to me about their early termination fee. Now they will not honor their word. They advised it was 85 percent of 1 month rent to break the lease. Now they are telling me it is 2 months rent plus I have to stay 60 days as well. My air conditioner barely works, I have ants in my apartment daily, there are cracks on the wall due to foundation problems, and I've had roof leaks a few times. They have a contract that states no aggressive dog breeds but they lie about that too. I've almost been attacked by an aggressive breed here. Management here doesn't care at all about their tenants. I can't wait til leave this dump.
Apartment mangagement/maintenance leaves alot to be desired. Spanish maintenance staff "pretend" they can't speak english so you can't give them any direction when you see them obviously doing something wrong. It's very frustrating that a company would hire workers that can't communicate with the tenants. Bertha, office staff, and Lonnie, maintenance staff, are excellent and communicates well with tenants and "gets things done" but the rest of the office staff and maintenance staff needs a swift kick in the butt. Very disappointed in the management. Can't wait for my lease to expire.
Great location with a very clean property. The office staff is always accommodating. Close to shops and places to eat. Makes me commute to work effortless.
I really enjoy living here. It is well managed and well maintained. It has great access within the city and lots of nice areas within the complex for family fun and relaxation.

Rent has drastically increased, along with being forced to have a non-optional trash valet service which is an additional $25 a month. Apartments aren't that big but they are decent. Neighbors are pretty nice.
Located on bus line and close to fwy and tollway. Dog Park within complex. Rent high for space. Expect apartment to be cold in winter and hot in summer.
