Property Ratings at The Taylor
I am about to sign my lease renewal, which will be start me on my third year here at The Taylor. Having lived in Dallas for eleven years, I can say that my time here has been my most enjoyable. What with the amenities of The Taylor itself, the proximity to The Katy Trail, the central location , make it ideal for me. Additionally, the security of the building gives me much peace of mind.
We just moved in last week and it has been nothing but amazing since then. The concierges are always super friendly and helpful with everything. The residents I have met along the way are always friendly and welcoming. Besides that the amenities and the actual apartment itself is beautiful and amazing. So far no issues and haven't heard any negative reviews from any one else either!!
I love it here so much. everything is so nice and the area is amazing. it is very close to many things and i enjoy the crowd as well. Everything about The Taylor is great!
I had such an easy time moving in! Moving my mail, getting our WiFi, and applying for renters insurance was so easy! I’m so excited to live here!
So far I have had a great experience moving and love the apartment and building! Staff has been very helpful. Great location as well. I would definitely recommend the Taylor
Great place to live, super clean great amenities, nice people, quick maintenance. Lived several other places in Dallas and this is the best so far.
The staff has been very nice and helpful. It’s a very dog friendly place just wish there was a dog park on site so my dog could make friends easier.
I love it at the Taylor! They are always quick to help with whatever you need, the people are great, and I love all of the events they have each month.
Great apartments, wish they designed the pool deck to get more sun. Only 25% gets sun. Pool is very cold. Amenities and everything else are great though.
comfortable and stylish apartment, beautiful building, meticulously maintained, in a great location. The staff members are professional, friendly, and responsive.
Everything has been 10 out of 10 so far except for one thing... The width of the electric gates for resident parking. I have a pickup truck and have severely scratched 1 side of it due to the width of the gates being just wide enough for a vehicle to go through. Hopefully the gate widths can be extended to account for not only pickup trucks but also for the narrow parking lot itself.
It’s been great, very clean, very friendly people. Anytime that there is a problem and a maintenance request is required, they are very quick and usually can complete it within 1 day.
I love living at the Taylor Uptown and it has truly been the best 5 years here. From the community and amenities to the location, you can't beat this complex in Dallas.
I totally like this piece The stuff is really nice and helpful. This place has everything to live for long term. It’s been so easy to make a feeling home
This place has been incredible. All the residents, staff, amenities, noise, area, etc. has been fantastic. It was super easy to be home here. My only complaint was that one of the elevators was out for an extended period of time. Outside of that, this has been my favorite place to live so far.
As I begin my second lease term, I can honestly say that the past year has been extremely pleasant. I have not experienced no bad experiences here. The staff, tenants, and amenities are top notch. Since moving to Dallas, The Taylor has been my favorite apartment home.
Living this building for the past 5 years, it has come to feel like home. From the tenets who have become friends to the concierges who greets me daily, I wouldn't choose to live anywhere else.
The apartment has been great, the staff is friendly, and it has everything you need. I’ve had a problem receiving packages though. My first package was “lost” for a couple days and when my next packages delivered, I didn’t receive a notification from the property to give me my entry code.
Totally Rad apartment complex. Fully sick living. We should get an indoor snow slope. How gnarly would that be. Marshmallow and hot chocolate every arvo!
Touring, move in, and living process has been so smooth! The service has been great and the amenities are very well maintained! Looking forward to being a resident
The managers at the Taylor worked hard to make my move in experience as easy as possible. They go above and beyond to ensure that you have everything you need.
Living here is the best decision I ever made and I could not imagine my life in Dallas without my Taylor Gang. I feel at home as soon as I walk into the building and have enjoyed making friends for me and my pup during our time together here!
Great place with a great community feel. The building is in great shape and the amenities are all well kept and beautiful. Couldn’t recommend more.
The staffs and neighbors are very friendly. We love the amenities as well as the services such as concierge and maintenance. The only matters we are not fully satisfied are that one of the two maim elevators are not working very often, and there are not as many surveilance cameras as we feel comfortable. Our experience with the apartment has been great so far.
The apartment itself looks great and and it kept in great condition, the amenities are lovely, the leasing office staff/concierge is helpful, and the maintenance staff is very responsive
I have lived at The Taylor for years now and can't imagine having lived anywhere else! The community is amazing and I have made some of my best friends here
Was quick and efficient to look and and lease the unit. Took no time to get approved and so far everything has been smooth and easy. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
Expensive, elevators chronically down, leasing office has ignored complaints (emails have gone unanswered and no changes made), rent increase was high and non negotiable
The place was good, just expensive for what you get in return.
Great views and location. The apt is nice, but also has a homey feel to it.
The location is great. If all the lights are green I can make it to work in 8 minutes. Katy Trail access could not be much better. Essential shopping (grocery, pharmacy, etc,) is within 4 minutes. There isn't really a place for this so I'll put it in here. The resident above me smokes on their patio almost every night. I know this because any time my door is open my apartment fills with cigarette smoke. Also, because there are ashes on my patio bar. I'm not really confrontational so I haven't leaned over and looked up to ask them to cut it out. By the amount of flehmy coughing though they may die before the end of their lease... What do I need to do to "officially" report the smoke next time it happens?
It's beautiful and lively, however I notived that it had gotten "younger" - SMU kids whose parents are paying rent. Spilled drinks in the elevators reminded me too much of college. Toward the end of my 2 years, I also noticed a lot of apartments weren't leased (I was able to see windows from my living room) - it's difficult to justify such an expensive 1 bedroom when you can find another with more space around the corner. I loved the office spaces and pool in the summer. Would be worth investing in Pelotons as every other apartment community has them now.
My experience at The Taylor Uptown has been excellent. The three most significant factors that have contributed to my excellent experience at The Taylor Uptown are as follows: (i.) The People/Residents: the residents at The Taylor Uptown are courteous, welcoming, and extremely successful; (ii.) The Building and Resort Amenities: the building is consistently maintained pursuant to luxury standards and the amenities make life in Uptown Dallas much easier, enjoyable, and relaxing; and (iii.) The Staff: the staff and concierge know residents by name, interact with residents on a regular basis, and are always willing to assist with any request and/or matter.
The staff and premises are amazing, however management doesn't do much to control misbehavior and unfortunately there were a lot of neighbors that were dirty on common areas, loud or bluntly disrespectful bringing in too many guests to common areas to the point that enjoying the pool was uncomfortable every weekend
Great location, accommodations, and service.
Location, view and amenities are good.
The apartment complex is very dog friendly and the staff is very nice. It is also kept in very good shape
Love the location and my view.
Beautiful apartment community areas and functional layouts.
I love the amenities and neighborhood. I do think there' slightly more affordable complexes nearby but it has everything I need and I liked the staff here the best out of everyone so far.
Extremely professional and friendly staff, never had a maintenance issue in the 1.5 years I stayed
too expensive and not competitive for the market.
Amazing staff, location, and amenities
YES
Quite expensive, but definitely some of the highest quality I've seen
The facility is clean and well-maintained. There are great details in the apartment, such as Sonos surround sound. The closet space is definitely lacking, and there are some amenities that are missing, such as a dog run and bike rack. The elevators are inconsistent, and so I brought the score down because they have posed a ton of inconvenience in the past. On the positive, the rooftop views seal the deal!
Great amenities and services. Great location, apartment complex is quite clean.
Having a 24/7 concierge service is an excellent luxury. The rooms were well designed with plenty of storage space for a studio. I also appreciated how well kept the interiors were.
I have brought a total of 4 residents to the taylor. They have all since moved out since the rent is steep and its an old construction. I understand the location is obviously preferable and our community areas are updated, but our rooms, that we live in everyday, the quality has declined and this is not reflected in what we're paying.
Great place, great view, great apartment. The grounds are clean and stylish, and the concierge are friendly and help keep the place safe.
