Property Ratings at The Tower at Kent
I just recently ended my lease . My vehicle and others were broken into many of times even seen someone have theirs stole. No security. Bug/roach infested. Managed extremely poor. Do yourself self a favor and look elsewhere.
All the reviews are not a good representation of how filthy and disgusting this place is.. I’ve seen so many roaches and this week my kitchen has literally been ambushed by roaches! 7, 4 down the wall, 2 in pantry and 1 in diswasher! Beware! List goes on!
I love the perks of living here! When I need something serviced, there’s no hesitation in rectifying the problem. The leasing manager (Nita) is always attentive to my needs! I would encourage anyone to looking this highrise! Did I mention it’s quiet. Hats off!!
Apts. are under new ownership (the 3rd owners since my move-in a few years ago). Property was once designated for age 55-plus residents, but now they'll accept just about anyone who hands over rent checks. We have Air B&B type and many college students. General appearance of common areas is bad most of the time - animal urine in elevators, trash thrown around. Most amenities have gone such as a cafe, library (books were shockingly trashed rather than donated), and activity room now used for storage. Loud music noise late at night and pot-smoking from my neighbors are tolerated. Luckily, my apt. was nicely renovated BEFORE my move-in. Gated property, but gate left open for several months resulting in parking lot car break-ins last week. New Pass Code just established and gate is now closed - THANK GOODNESS. Hope it helps. These apartments resemble a lot of college dorms, I'm sure.
The Tower at Kent formerly known as the Terrace could be be a better apartment complex in hands of a professional team. The leasing office don’t care about the cleaning of the common areas such as hallways and elevators. The hallways are extremely hot in summer due to shutting off the AC. You could see dog wastes in the lobby, and elevators especially over the weekends or holidays. The lobby always smell like trash because of the proximity to the trash shutting system. There were incidents that we we tried to discuss it with the leasing manager and she treated us very poor; she was rude and disrespectful and not personable. The water pressure fluctuates and keep the washing machine, toilet flushing and dishwasher from functioning properly.
