Property Ratings at Terraces at Peridia
the property is quite impressive and appears very new and well kept. thank you for my recent tour. I look forward to availability for my requested apt needs. thanks
I have been trying to reach this complex for about a month now. I have not had 1 call back, nor emails responded to. I’m a pretty patient person and tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, however today there is currently a post that they have an open house. Driving 30 minutes out of my way to visit, the office is closed. People are waiting outside, but of course no representative is available. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism and am pretty confused how businesses even operate like this. Update your website if you are not wanting to deal with customers.
We needed to move out within 2 weeks due to mold in our last apartment. On our tour we were told that we would get a garage for free for a year and that we would have to qualify individually for the unit. Upon further inquiry we were told by the property manager that we actually could be combined to qualify for the unit. Once we decided to apply it took OVER A WEEK just to SUBMIT our applications. We could never get a hold of anyone (we tried calling, emailing, and even waiting at the office at the property) and when we did get a hold of someone it was a different person that would have to relay information but never did. We would reach out everyday and the receiving person would have no idea what we were talking about or weren't informed they had to process anything. We were told that we had to individually qualify still, that it's actually a storage unit and not a garage that we get for a year (which we got access to months later) and that we needed a cosigner. Note that this was all right before the holidays and having to move within 2 weeks (now 1 week) without our application even being processed. Once we got approved and were able to move in we were met with a beautiful unit with the worst assembly I've ever seen. (Nobody told use that the elevator wasn't operational yet for our move in on the 2nd floor). Not A SINGLE drawer in our kitchen opens fully due to horrible layout planning. There are huge scratches all over the brand new flooring, chips in the corners of the walls, the brand new quartz counter tops were literally broken in half but put in anyway full of chips and rust stains, the drawers in our bathroom are so bad that maintenance had to saw off one side to get them to work. The towel rack and toilet paper holder have literally fallen out of the walls. Now we've been without hot water for 7 DAYS. Turns out the entire building is having water issues and apparently you have to call and find out what is going on rather than being informed by your office. We now have a water leak in our living room due to rainfall an we are on the 2nd of 3 floors. Upon turning in our new move-in checklist we were told that there is nothing they can do for most of the items and they would fix the fixable things. Maintenance was in and out of our unit for months. The Terraces look very appealing and are such a great price, but we could have done a better job building this place than they did. I would have rather spent $50 more a month at a smaller unit elsewhere.
Disappointing application experience ----- SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO TGM PALM AIRE, same prices and nicer area. Made an appointment with Carlee, which was a mess as she only went over a 3D layout of the apartment. She requested us to come back to the complex hours later which compensated for that, but she ended up just sighing and texting on her cell phone the entire time. Application process was insane. An application is needed along with 3 recent pay stubs and an Employment verification. Since I do work for a large company she had to call the employee verification line. Gave her all the information she needed – which she later called me said in a negative “I had to pay to use that line. can you just have your manager fill out this document ” which really doesn’t make much sense since my paystubs reflect the same exact information she wants. It rubbed me the wrong way that she also had to tell me she had to pay for verification when thats what application and admin fees are for. Later on she tried to sweet talk us that she was going to give us a 2 bed room- as one suddenly became available which got our hopes up as she later she told us “we make too much money and don’t qualify for it” so we had to settle for a one bedroom. THEN we were asked for a cosigner CAUSE WE DONT MAKE ENOUGH MONEY– which we sent all the persons information. Mind you this person has a government job and makes a pretty good amount of money. She later stated that she barely "by a scratch" doesn’t make enough. Which I find crazy. Then again request for someone to cosign that makes 4X the amount of rent, which would have to be someone that makes roughly $65 an hour which to me is a little crazy for an apartment in oneco. We later were contacted by Carlee to see if we had found another cosigner. The best part of it all: We told her to take us off the list (as we were not able to find a cosigner) WHICH we wanted to express our CONCERNS QUESTIONS,Carlee said " OKAY" and instantly disconnected the call. No questions or concerns as to why or what she could do to help. just being hung up on. EXTREMLEY DISAPOINTING EXPERIENCE.
