Property Ratings at The Timbers at Issaquah Ridge
Have been a resident of this community since last year. Average townhomes, but what really shocked us today was the behavior of one of their leasing staff. By the way, the incident today wasn't the first time this person behaved this way with us. My husband was having a polite discussion with her on phone regarding the ongoing lease renewal for our townhome when all of a sudden she started using a very rude tone. My husband mentioned to her politely that he doesn't appreciate the tone being used, as a response to which she responded even more arrogantly and rudely. We have never been treated/spoken to so badly in this country so far!! I am shocked and disappointed. It hurts when the place you call your "home" is where you get treated so badly. It took us a while to pull ourselves out of this incident, and now we are seriously considering leaving this community sooner than planned.. only because of the unacceptable behavior of the staff! Good place but extremely disrespectful leasing staff.

the application processes were very easy and strait forward. I had a very pleasant experience to work with Thadeus and Alexia from the management. the apartment was in very good shape at the time of my move in and i can strongly recommend this community

Thank you for your kind words about our team! We enjoy making our community a great place to call home and are so happy to hear of your positive experience working with our team members. We are proud to have team members like Thaddeus and Alexia to serve our community. Please reach out to the office if we can provide any assistance in the future!
Conveniently located; the staff are nice; beautiful grounds; rents are fair and the best deal in the area; fantastic views
The process and application was streamlined, leasing was very generous and courteous, and the neighborhood is overall peaceful and quiet.
We would definitely recommend living here. Staff is so friendly and solution oriented. We love this apartment.
The maintenance team always takes care of the issues on the first go. The only time it requires a return visit is if a part has to be ordered and that is rare.
We are very happy with staff and how they treat us here.
outside of this particular issue the community as a whole has been great. I understand due to covid the workforce is in constant flux.
It's probably fine for people that aren't as picky about living in a quite environment as I am.
The property staff do an amazing job. The make you feel welcome and always help when you ask for it.
Maintenance requests are fulfilled promptly and management seems engaged with the community.
The only con I experienced is the road noise is very loud.
Too expensive and they continue to raise the rents when Covid has destroyed so many peoples lives. Just trying to get by and it' so difficult
I highly recommend the Timbers, I absolutely love my apartment the staff is by far the best I have ever rented from, professional responsive and extremely helpful, No place like this home!!! Best apartment I have ever rented,, not to mention the beautiful views
clean, convenient (close to highway and shopping centers), pet friendly, friendly staff
Floors creak everywhere. Seems to be more now that we have moved in. Neighbors next door are very loud and when trying to work at home as well as do schooling, on some days its very distracting with the kids next door screaming, slamming doors and mother yelling. Sometimes get tired of the gas smell when fireplace comes on. In the mornings, I can smell gas upstairs if fireplace has come on before I come down. It eventually goes away.
The sharp and unexpected rent increases, especially during covid were what drove me to look elsewhere, in which case we finally bought.
yes
I'm always recommending, it's well managed and in a great location.
I enjoy the community and location overall, but the parking has been the only thing that has negatively affected my experience here.
The "refer a friend" factor! Extra money or a cost cut on rent, duh! Also, who doesn't want friends/family as neighbors??
Response and scheduling my maintenance is important. I scheduled time between 12 to 2 pm. They came few minutes right after 12pm. Did not have to sit and wait. Maintenance were polite and when I ask them to take shoes off . And surely they were very knowledgeable. They were done before I can finish my first beer for that day. Yeah I will recommend them to friends and relative. I just don't know if they will agree on the price of your monthly rent.
Garbage problem with rats too close to the garbage dump.. Car parking situation . Will not or provide enough spaces for guests, Automobiles should be regulated, case being the large trucks are too long and prohibits difficulty to park and pass on the road way.
We could not be happier with our move to the Timbers. Every single person we have worked with has been absolutely wonderful. I would especially call out Alexia and Aaron for being helpful, kind, and all around wonderful people. We feel so lucky to live in the Timbers.
The Best thing is the office team takes the action very quickly. My personal thanks to Alexia
We LOVE the Timbers. We have had three different people from the maintenance team in our home and they all have been kind, lovely people. Every issue we have had has been resolved promptly and I would recommend every one of my friends move into the Timbers.
We've recommended you to friends who recently moved to the area already! Your units provide the right amount of space for the money, and the customer service has been great as well!
The only reason I would not would be the visitor parking restrictions
It works for me especially because of location. At least my appliances are very out dated. access to trails and community I preferred the highlands apartment, but for me it is great. Parking could also be greatly improved.
I am very pleased with all the personnel here. The outside grounds are kept nicely also.
Cost of living is higher than it should be considering all the options in the immediate area that are more luxury and newer, but overall we really enjoyed living here.
The Timber apartments are spacious and has the required amenities. Also , the staffs at the leasing office are helpful.
While the community is a bad fit for me, I would still recommend it to others who have a different set of requirements.
All of the staff are friendly and professional without being stuffy or uptight. The grounds are kept pretty well clean, outside of some of the garbage areas, which, lets be honest, is probably more resident fault. The only two things that drop it down a point are the price, and the layout of our unit, which has both bathrooms all the way on the third floor...I mean, we get our exercise, but dang.
Request that tenants keep their patio uncluttered and to not have trash or bed frames and other garbage on their patio
Spot Many rats surrounding the garbage dumpster and making their way in to apartments and car parking. It’s a medical hazard and should be reported to the health dept.
It is a good place to call home, the only thing that could improve would be the parking situation.
We were recommended the Timbers by a friend, and we would absolutely do so for anyone else. Our first month here has been great, and we look forward to continuing our stay here for quite some time. The amenities are great versus other communities nearby, and the value that the office and maintenance staff offer with their attentiveness and helpful attitude is huge compared to past communities w've lived in.
I have lived here 8 years, I like it, I like the staff, I like the quality of the construction and interior finishes, I like the view, I like the neighborhood.
We enjoy the quiet neighborhood vibe, with our building mostly being professionals and families around our age. The rental prices are fairly competitive with other apartments in the area, and the spaciousness of the units is unparalleled. We think other couples and small families like ours would love living here!
It would be dependent on financial means as the apartments are costly.
I really enjoy living here and all employees from office staff to maintenance are very nice and welcoming.
I would. Very pleasant and informative. Very nice complex and convenient.
I would still recommend this place but with a note to expect higher utility bills.
Pros: good location, safe cons: There was a mice infestation all over garages and apartment. Mice chew up the wires in my car. The landscaping is excessive many beautiful bushes and trees are cut for no reason.
It?s a great neighborhood and has everything we want and more. Beautiful view and great location.
He was able to tell what the problem was solely by the description I gave. Showed up the first time with the parts required to fix the problem. A+
Timbers apartments are specious, have good helping staff in leasing office and connectivity of community to surrounding important locations is very good.
Lots of newer more attractive residences were built in Issaquah in the last few years and most of them offer lower prices, bigger apartments and more amenities.
Would - it's convenient Would not - dated condition of unit, no green space, price, high density
