Property Ratings at The Trails of North Hills
dont believe me ? stop by this complex after 7pm for the RAT showcase. shine your headlights on any trash bin and beep your horn, they will come running . RATS! BIG HUGE RATS ! Residents place trash by the dumpster instead of inside causing the rat issue to increase. you can call the office about the problem but all they are going to do is LIE and act as if they are doing something to help the issue. and magically every time you call the office the exterminator happens to be there at that time . every single day....They first state that they are putting down traps and then when you call back because you now see baby RATS and nothing is changing they state that they are spraying the rats. how do you spray rats outside ?? I do not know. also if you don't mind ants in the summer in your apartment, roaches all year round , and running from rats on a daily basis this is the place for you. The people in the office don't care . the amenities are shut down because of vandalism and they allow anyone to move in.... ANYONE... BE AWARE of this place.
The leasing office will never answer, maintenance will let your apartment have water damage from water, basically let your apartment flood and never respond
I am thinking strongly about breaking my current lease because this place seems like a real home. I think we will be very happy here.
I would recommend the apartment community because of location and the staff, however I feel that the apartments are overpriced.
It's a good value but the maintenance issues have been many.
I might recommend them. Not sure. The fact that they went into my apartment after I explicitly said not to was very upsetting.
I would recommend this community because its very affordable no hidden fees and Great location
It's a great area to live and the office personnel appear that they will bend over backwards to meet your needs but sometimes it is glossed over and not taken care of fully
Rapid response to maintenance request. Issue was resolved within 24 hours.
I'm still new to the complex and yet to review
Would--Office staff is nice and responds quickly; Quiet neighbors Would not--Need more space to walk dogs; more dog waste bags needed;busy complex
I see that things are turning around in the community and I'm excited to see that happen. For the most part, I enjoyed my stay despite some of the more unpleasant events that occurred in my last two years. I think for the price point and location, it's a really great spot.
Thanks Lawanda and Stacee for helping me move in at last minute and finding me just the right home. I appreciate you understanding that a first floor was a must and adjusting your schedule to get our home ready so quickly. I love our kitchen and the grounds are kept up so well. We look forward to spending a year here why we build our home.
From the location, and the amenities of a wonderfully kept clubhouse, playground and grounds in general, I found it a perfect place to be in Raleigh. Especially being a walk away from Crabtree Valley Mall, and the green trail right out my front door.
Would: great location, fair prices, spacious floor plans Wouldn't: they cut down every single old growth tree which only exacerbates the problem of having old air conditioners that do not provide a reasonable level of cooling. The a/c was already poor, without the 300 trees that were just removed, it will be magnitudes worse
So many trees were cut down that gave residents privacy and now there isn't shade from the trees in the summer to keep the apartments cooler.
Would because of atmosphere beautiful trees walking path, pool, laundry room ok,dog park could be bigger though, great location, not too far from airport, shopping, Costco, yae
When I drove on to the facility, it immediately felt like home compared to all the other places I looked. The apartments were beautifully cleaned and everything was handled professionally in the office.
It's a great place to live as long as it remains affordable to working class.
It's simple, no frills living. The outside looks old but that doesn't matter to us. Good location with relation to the beltline and Crabtree Valley. Mostly quiet.
The grounds are beautiful and the neighbors are all great.
The apartments are a little pricey for how old they are so I would be skeptical about referring anyone here .
I would recommend because it's a nice location. I would not because it has a lot of water bugs. And laundry room needs some work.
I would recommend it because it is in a great location and cheap but not for the "niceness" of the apartment.
Definitely would recommend, because of the rent rate, but I always Warn them about the bugs !! Spring and summer time the water bugs out side are soo bad I refuse To set foot outside the building after 10 pm. Bugs are the only problem
I've enjoyed living in this apartment complex (I believe this makes my fifth or sixth year), I would recommend this complex because of it's convenience to points of interest and value for the money.
I think it's a very modest living situation, but Morgan Management really fudged the bucket on actually maintaining this place and supporting their staff. Like the staff can only do so much with what they have, and this is a pretty big community. I love my neighbors, and I enjoy the amenities we have, but I'll admit the atmosphere has gotten pretty trashy. It's up to us to have some self respect and clean up after ourselves, but I also want to go back to the staff being supported. This place is very big, and we only have maybe two utility personnel at a time handling upkeep. The materials they're given are so cheap, we started repairing our own apartment with higher priced/better materials for longevity's sake. It's daunting calling them all the time because the caulk is dry rotting fast (because it's not good plumbers caulk, it's just generic regular use caulk). God knows they are timely, friendly, and attentive--but how well can someone repair your home if the company paying them is too cheap to supply adequate material? The same goes for the front office. Management changes all the time, and the women who worked up there have been real troopers. I'm hoping the new management company gives everyone the support they need so we can all work together to make it nicer here. It's a great location, wonderful people, and I think that some maintenance could really turn it around.
We love the apartment itself, but again our experiences with management have made communication very difficult
