Overall, you just can’t find apartments as awesome as the TRAVIS. I have looked at many, many other apartments in downtown in Midtown and they didn’t compare to my needs. Especially most do not have half baths, extra large, balconies, and the views that we have! we also have a dynamite location!

I moved here from another state and was told 4 days before my lease started my unit was no longer available to which I had to go into another unit, that I had never seen before. I got here and when I went to move in the elevator was occupied during my time I had requested and confirmed it to be. It was one of the worst moving experiences I have ever had. I've only lived at the Travis for a couple of months but so far I am very pleased with my new home. All of the staff have been very helpful and pleasant. My unit is very comfortable and along with all of the amenities I feel like it's a good value for the money.

The Travis is a nice, upscale apartment building/community to live. Living here makes me feel as if I’m on a vacation somewhere. The residents and property staff are nice and it’s in a prime and convenient location. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, shops, and other places near by to explore, including downtown. You have easy access to some highways, downtown, the medical center, metro rail, and other places. They do their best to keep the property well maintained and clean as possible.

The Travis is an amazing place to live. Location, location, location. Not to mention the extra large balcony overlooking the city from this midtown area. Restaurants and parks all within one to four blocks away. The office management and the staff are all very friendly and have always helped me to get the job done. That includes maintenance, they have always been good to me. I would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone. In viewing other apartments prior to our decision to stay at the TRAVIS, we found that the Travis stood apart from the others because they offered the half bath option, the biggest and best balconies of all, and rental units for our guests. Living next to the tram is pretty awesome as well. I don’t need to take the car out much.

The complex is in a great location but all amenities don’t work. The manager is nice but -TV’s outside and Aqua room didn’t work until the Greystar team showed up for one week. The community is very dirty. Grounds including door entry , garage, and carpets are always soiled and smells like dirt and garbage. No hand sanitizer in trash chute area. They leave garage trash room doors open all day. Cars smell like garbage. The carpets have not been shampooed in 2 years. The carpet is not vacuumed until a resident complains and it’s not cleaned again until we ask. The front doors areas are dirty and not cleaned daily and are soiled with urine. The pet area is never cleaned properly and wreaks of soiled urine. It did not smell decent until the Greystar team showed up for one week. When they left it went back to wreaking of urine. They do not have a daily cleaning routine. Pool area when open is always infested with roaches because the area is not cleaned daily. The grills were not cleaned snd roaches coming out of it. Roaches jumped into drinking cup. The biggest concern is that when a resident shows concern the management team blames all residents and never takes responsibility. They only send out messages to create new rules in retaliation but it only shifts the blame back to residents for an issue that would be resolved if they had a more consistent cleaning process and the right cleaning supplies. If this community loves pets and is pet friendly, they should show better awareness of the routine needed to give our pets a cleaner environment and a team that focuses on cleaning around ALL entry doors daily. Including the 7th floor. Bleach or similar could be used so that our guest do not complain of wreaking urine upon walking into our building. Concierge is great. Valet is great. Coffee is great. Gym is great.

The Travis has a great location in Houston. The square footage is good. Katherine and Chris are amazing. They sit in an office with no AC. there is only AC in the gym and Lobby for the past year. We have made several requests due to heat advisory and the halls are extremely hot and dirty while waiting on elevators an extended amount of time because there is always 1 of the 3 elevators thst we have in a 32 story building.

Problems occur.. That is the nature of appliances or mechanical devices throughout any apartment complex. It is the ease of notification and the ultimate response from maintenance to the issue that make the difference. I have encountered very few issues, but when needed I have been very pleased with the process and completion of repair. Thank you to The Travis Maintenance team.

Repairs to things around the facility are poor. We do not have a secure garage door, the glass sliding doors now two both conference rooms are off the rails. The door leading into the aqua lounge is still broken. Instead of repairing the old coffee machine they simply replaced it with a new one on the counter next to the old one. (And there is never tea). The flowers have disappeared. Not one of the grills work. They have removed the tv's poolside or they dont work. The fans above the lounge couches in the cabanas no longer work. It is as if they do not care that these items don't get repaired or replaced, yet we are expected to just accept the shotty repairs and lackluster safety of the broken garage doors. I want to go back and change my number to no i would not recommend this place.

I love the amenities at the Travis. The concierge is always accessible, the complimentary valet is so convenient, and the pool and gym are gorgeous. I love my unit, but I wish I had checked the cell phone service first.

Greystar is an awful company for a leasing. Service in the building is not up to par and so far I would say it is the worst management of all the condos I have leased in over 6 years of leasing in various states.

The Travis is the nicest place I’ve ever stayed at. They do a great job at making this a luxurious living space. I have no complaints. Christopher, in the leasing office, has gone above & beyond every step of the way!
