Property Ratings at The Triad Apartments
Lived here for a year while my partner finished school, and its fine for just that. The good things: pretty spacious for the price, especially considering all utilities are included. Plus they do allow small pets so our ferret was welcome. The downsides: very old and rickety, none of the doors in the apartment closed properly. There was very minimal space in the kitchen for storage, only one drawer and a very small rotating pantry cabinet. The only AC is one single window unit in the living room, so the apartment gets HOT in the spring/summer, and in the winter the radiators are a crapshoot and are sometimes on, sometimes off, so you're either boiling hot or freezing. Also they would not approve us fostering cats despite cats being allowed, which was a big downside for me personally. Overall the apartment is okay if it's your first place and/or on a budget, but it gets old pretty fast.
Walls falling apart inside. Painted-over wood floors that chip everywhere and never get completely clean. Constant infestations in the summer. Very poor, unhelpful, and immature management who will try to blame every single issue on the tenants.
