overall good experience - friendly staff and relatively safe area. apartment provides a gated garage for parking which is a bonus. there is also a pool and gym in the buildling
Nice place, great amenities, but the residents could use some improvement. It's a no smoking facility, but reeks of weed and cigarette smoke. The garage is where the garbage is held and you can really tell, the smell is horrid.
Everything is great so far-- looking forward to the warmer days and activities My experience here has been fairly seamless with zero issues. I'm amazed at how quiet it can be here since it's such a large community

I have resided on this property for nearly three years and have encountered numerous ongoing issues. Building security remains inconsistent, and many residents fail to clean up after their pets, leaving the surrounding grounds in poor condition. While the maintenance staff does an exceptional job in their efforts to uphold a clean environment, the lack of accountability among residents continues to undermine these efforts. It is very disappointing. The office staff is not friendly or inviting the Community Manager never walks the property and there are very few activities and events held for residents. I only remain a resident here because I have a washer and dyer in my unit.

Long time resident. Most neighbors seem sincere and respectful. Occasionally you’ll find a bad apple of a neighbor. Once there was a neighbor who used their apartment for Air BnB. They volunteered in their ad that smoking was allowed. Living above the is miscreant neighbor led to over 2 years of second hand skunk pot smoke leaking into our apartment. Talk about a nightmare. Other than that, it’s mostly been ok. The rent increases lately have been fairly stable though prices seem to increase yearly. The maintenance staff are very good and dependable. Staff are mostly sincere too.

Though it's a very nice place to live but due to some annoying people and also there is a problem of sanitation. We live in 600 William St and it's not clean in public areas here and even the outside walk of the building is almost never cleaned for months and months .

Decent management and community if someone can vibe with a loud bus, flashing strobe lights, and okay amenities. My first year was excellent, and I enjoyed my time here. However, the second year was unenjoyable. I am paying the market price for our lease agreement. Parking is a plus here since it is cheaper than most other apartment companies, and parking is not an issue. Electronics may need some improvements to the system. There is a snack machine and beverage machine that I live off of. There may be internet in the community lounge, and it's a quiet place to study because it is usually empty. A lot of tenants use the pool, and it is lively. Uptown recently installed new signages and doggy ?? dispensers around the area. I would love to catch a glimpse of the community event life here since it is close to the nightlife scene.

We were absolutely thrilled to move into our new studio apartment and have been so pleased with the overall experience. From the very beginning, the leasing process was smooth, and the management team has been incredibly responsive to any maintenance requests, always addressing concerns in a timely manner. One of our favorite features is the beautifully maintained pool and hot tub, which we take full advantage of every single day. It’s a wonderful way to relax and unwind. The bathroom is surprisingly spacious for a studio and includes a wonderful timed warmer light, which makes chilly early mornings feel so much cozier. The kitchen is thoughtfully designed, with ample storage space and stunning granite countertops that we absolutely love. Additionally, the convenience of parking right below our apartment on the ground floor adds a level of ease and security that makes our daily routine even better.

10/10 one of the greatest experiences I have ever had when looking for a new place to call home. The tour was great, I do have friends that already live here so there was no need to see all the amenities. I was sold when I seen the closet when I 1st walked into the unit. Its a great apartment complex to be a part of. The community is strong, and there are always helpful people around in the neighborhood. The street lighting is much required in the area during the evenings, as the sidewalks become pretty dark with the tree shade, and with the area being sketchy, it just helps to be visible. The call box could also be something to introduce in the building, as the current call boxes are non-functional.

My experience living here this year has been horrible. My apartment is facing Telegraph Ave and it’s very loud and violent. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday there are gunshots, people being murdered, people being robbed, fighting, sideshows, crashing cars, loud people screaming and blasting music all night until 3am. Noise cancellation items do not help. When the residents above me talk, walk, use any appliances including the toilet I can hear. Parking is horrible the price for it is not worth it. When you find a park you can’t get out or into your car and now I have scratches and dents. When you can’t find parking you are forced to walk 4 blocks in a bad neighborhood to see if it is parking in other lots. People allow their dogs to pee on the elevator floor and stairway floor. My family was not able to enjoy the pool area due to the crazy adult parties. Resident blowing smoke in my kids face, cursing, loud talking and drinking alcohol while inside the jacuzzi and pool.

Price is great, location is great, amenities offered are great, staff is great. Overall it's an excellent place to live. Windows are double-paned which is good because the area is next to a popular entertainment venue. But no place is perfect: Actual upkeep of the building is lacking. Elevators in the building are left broken for 3 weeks, the ones which work are missing inspection paperwork. In general, you get the feeling that you are paying somewhere for the reduced cost of this apartment compared to other large downtown apartment buildings. But for many, that's well worth it.

Safe, clean, and friendly. Very comfortable so far. Responsive staff. Quiet. Lovely grounds. I like there is an Amazon locker, on site security, a pool, and a gym. Wish there was air conditioning though.

My experience at the Uptown has had its pros and cons. Pros: -Clean Gym -Pool and Hot tub -Proactive communication about updates to the complex -Safe package storage -Quick maintenance response -Safe parking garages -24 hour security staff -Events Cons: -Inconsiderately loud level of noise at the pool -Rude security staff and one rude member from leasing -Move-out process and overinflated cleaning fees/ attempt to get money from residents when they move

I’ve been living at the Uptown Apartments for over a year now and we’ve had a lot of rotating staff at the front desk although Simone has been great! She’s always friendly and super nice. Most recently when I was on crutches from a broken leg she’s made extra efforts to help ensure my packages and deliveries have made their way up to my apartment so I didn’t have to worry about them.

Property is well maintained, maintenence crew respond very quickly, amazon locker is here so I rarely ever lose a package. Pool is nice, gym is nice.

I am very much enjoying the apartment, building, and neighborhood. My roommates and I were upset about my roommate's bike being stolen from the bike room. We did a deep clean of the floors recently, and realized how filthy they were, and never cleaned before we moved in. The street noise can be a lot sometimes, but we have been sleeping. An orientation would have been helpful (for things like compost, non-chute trash and recycling). The fire alarm situation is horrendous, and very strange. No other building seems to have this policy, so I do not know why the given excuse is in order to comply with code? Communication could be much better, especially with Patty (Building Manager), which is not often needed, but when it is, it is hard to get in touch with her, even for seemingly brief check-ins

Management does their best to work with you and when things are not as they are supposed to be they also do their best to try and fix it , some have more experience than others but you can always ask to talk to someone else until you get what you need done

Other than the major weed/cigarette issue from residents and no air conditioning. Everything else has been good. The amenities are pretty much always available. There’s resident parking or street parking for guests. Security is usually always patrolling. I do wish the call boxes worked and we could actually buzz people in or give a code for delivery’s and the elevator.

Fire alarm goes off a lot in other units for extended periods of time sometimes and there can be a lot of litter in the garages. Otherwise great experience here
