Property Ratings at The V Tower
You can already read about how horribly made this building is so I won’t beat a dead horse about the noise… this place absolutely sucks. I broke my lease after 9 months of hell. The security of the building is non existent. I have witnessed neighbors being arrested; gotten home from work to the building entrance surrounded by police; tenants hiding out in the courtyard while police were searching for a trespasser. This list continues. They assure you of security with the false pretenses of changing the gate codes once a month and an active security presence. In the 9 months of living here the gate code was changed TWICE… and not once did I see security on the property. You’re lucky if you even came home to the gate being closed! Within the first 2 months of living here we already had many issues with our unit. Our unit was brand new when we moved in. From the first day our dryer didn’t work. It took them almost a week to replace it. After about 1 month living here I was locked inside of my unit early in the morning because the door handle was improperly installed. I had to climb out the window and had no response for several hours (upwards of 6hours) for a solution for this. Once the door had been “fixed” I got home and was still locked out because they refused to replace the door handle and assured me it had been fixed. This place has been nothing but a nightmare. Our downstairs neighbor would pound on their ceiling when we had our tv on because you can hear anything and everything at all hours. The move out process has been horrible. They nickel and dime you and leave you with the bare minimum left for your security deposit. One month they posted utilities late and then wanted to charge the tenants as being delinquent for “not paying on time”. They will take away your parking when the new building opens up to prioritize the new tenants. My car was vandalized in the garage and the neighborhood is not safe to park in at night. So you’re not left with many options. It should be criminal for a complex to take away parking like they have including handicap spots. Save yourself and do not live here. Do not fall into the trap of a decent price for a newer build. This place is hands down the worst place I have ever lived and the company should be ashamed of how they treat their tenants and do business.
The noise is unbearable. Our neighbor plays loud music almost every day, and despite our complaints to the manager, nothing has improved. To make matters worse, our packages are inconsistently delivered—sometimes to the mailbox, other times to a different storage area, or left in front of the house, depending on the delivery company. It’s frustrating to have to check multiple locations just to find a package. I will never return here again!
The walls are quite thin, so you can hear all the music and other noises. People often blast music late into the night, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the location where packages are delivered varies depending on the delivery company, which is very frustrating because it requires checking multiple spots to find your package.
The apartments themselves look nice, but there is zero soundproofing in this complex. I can hear all of my neighbors walk, talk, flush their toilets, play music, everything.
