This is our second year living in the Ventana Apartments. We are fortunate to have quiet and kind neighbors. It's lovely and safe here. The community personnel are attentive and also kind.
My husband and I are seniors, have sold our house to be close to our daughter; and with living in an apartment being our best option at this time, we couldn't think of a better place to be than at The Ventana. We couldn't appreciate more everyone management and maintenance. They're so great!

The Ventana Apartments are a great place to live, a professional Leasing office and Maintenance Department. A safe, quiet place to live.
The complex is located in a lovely area, it’s quiet, kept clean, our apartment is comfortable and cozy, and the staff really care about doing their best.
The Ventana apartments is a great place to live. Neighbors are friendly, the place is well maintained. Leased company is very helpful, and maintenance service request is never an issue. They take care of things within 24 hours of submitting a service request.

I love the Ventana and am so proud to call it home! Thank you for being amazing! Management and maintenance are very available and helpful, the community is friendly, the building gets pretty quiet, it's very peaceful and beautiful and the location is perfect for being in a newer safe part of LA, close to LMU, the beach, and walking distance from all of Playa Vista (especially Runway!). This place is convenient, comfortable, and truly a wonderful place to live!

Moved out here from Denver, I really didnt like most places I looked at in LA, but Playa Vista and in particular the Ventana I fell in love with immediately, green grass, young professionals, lots of dogs, I knew I found a great place to call home.
Two years ago a career opportunity had me relocating from NYC to LA. I toured 46 apartments (I’m very picky!) before finding the Ventana. After taking the tour with Jonathan, I put my application in immediately. It’s a beautiful property in a very convenient location, with restaurants and grocery/ cvs within walking distance. I felt like I was moving to a spa resort. The grounds are beautiful and always clean and well maintained. The management and leasing team are a pleasure to work with and very accommodating, patiently answering all my questions and addressing my concerns. There is good security, highly visible- I always felt safe walking my dog all hours of the day and night. I ended up staying for two years until a family obligation caused me to move. I will miss walking around this picturesque neighborhood. The only drawback is the fire alarms are a bit sensitive, but all in all I highly recommended this complex.
The Ventana is a great place to live. The location is convenient, the property is nice and the management and maintenance teams are outstanding. They are consistently courteous, professional and quick to response. I have lived here for nearly seven years and am completely satisfied.
What a wonderful, quiet, and lovely place to live. It is so calming to look out over the park. We feel as though we live in a condo rather than an apartment. The staff have worked together for a long time so they understand the needs of the residents. Their response time is off-the-charts fast and they address us with kindness, efficiency and respect. I highly recommend this lovely residence.

I love my apartment and the location of the Ventana. The staff have been incredibly kind and helpful. This review is just an attempt to get management's attention and provide a solution to the horrendous mail situation. There are FIVE different locations where parcels are being dropped off - 1. At your front door (ideal) 2. In the Leasing Center 3. In the front lobby 4. At Building A's mail boxes 5. At Building B's mailboxes. Our deliveries have wound up at all locations. And today, the mailbox was left wide open because it's in such a state of disrepair. I don't blame the delivery crews who are probably swamped and just as confused. This should have been fixed by installing Package Concierge within the week, but it seems this has been going on for over a month at least. This is beyond unacceptable for how nice of a building this is, and how much everyone relies on deliveries during COVID quarantines. I ask that management please give our building some much needed attention and I'll happily revise this review.

The Ventana is beautiful, private, convenient and it is our home. We have lived here for several years and couldn't be happier. Yolanda, one of the managers is outstanding. The maintenance team is terrific. The apartments are large, quiet and very nice.
The best apartment EVER! Several years ago, I lived at The Ventana and I'm thrilled to be back. I looked at several places when I knew I was returning to the Westside and most of the newer builds here in Playa Vista have very cheap fabrications, noise issues, and no views. The Ventana is very pet friendly and I have a beautiful peaceful view with 2 sets of French doors leading to a long private balcony. I never hear my neighbors and I'm on the second floor so neighbors all around me. Jonathon went above and beyond in his efforts to find me the perfect unit and Eric & Greg are always amazingly courteous and attentive. The rest of the staff is very friendly and always helpful. This one bedroom apartment comes with it's own laundry room. Not a laundry closet. A laundry ROOM. there is plenty of storage space and a HUGE walk in closet. All the amenities are top notch. Living here again has been complete and utter bliss. Thank you Ventana for making my home feel like Shangri-La.
I am satisfied overall. Hopefully no increase in rent and a reduction in water and sewage cost.
This is a decent apartment complex. The office staff are great, friendly and all-pro. But the complex needs serious facility fixes, grounds upgrades, overall modernization with a focus on energy-efficiency, improved resident safety in public areas and apartment amenity improvements such as appliances, fixtures, cabinetry and plumbing.

We've lived in two buildings at the Ventana. The first was in the Lofts, which we really loved. It had tall ceilings that really gave a sense of airiness, almost like a gallery. After two years, we only decided to move because we needed a larger unit. So, we found a 2 2 with a different layout in the Mediterranean building. We didn't think we'd like it as much as our last place, but we were pleasantly surprised because the walk-in closets are huge and the double sinks come in handy for my wife and me. My apartment is perfect! Full private laundry room in my unit, quiet view of the park and very pet friendly. The staff is great and I feel very lucky that Jonathan in the leasing office contacted me when this specific unit became available.

We have been extremely satisfied residents for 5 years. Throughout that time the consistency of professionalism exhibited by the front office and their service related colleagues is exemplary. Every inquiry form leasing issues to services needed have appeared to be their top priority when it comes answers and performance. As a lifelong renter and disabled individual it is very refreshing to feel at home in a community of individuals striving to make this relationship more than landlord/tenant but more like a small neighborhood environment.
