Nestled just north of I-30, North Arlington is an idyllic neighborhood with a distinct suburban atmosphere. Wide roads are lined with lush trees and modern homes throughout North Arlington, while North Collins Street touts plenty of familiar commercial offerings, from chain restaurants to national retailers.
North Arlington’s sprawling parks and scenic golf courses stand in stark contrast to the bustling environment on the southern side of I-30, which is where you’ll find popular destinations like Six Flags Over Texas, Globe Life Park (home of the Texas Rangers), and AT&T Stadium (home of the Dallas Cowboys). North Arlington residents enjoy a quiet place to come home to as well as convenience to some of the Metroplex’s most exciting amenities.

Property Ratings at The Ventura
If I could give 0 stars I would. They had some nice incentives for choosing them. On my very first day when trying to move things over they came to fix the huge list of things and saw 2 dogs which then instead of understanding that they slapped a fee and made me pay that and the pet fee. I went the whole lease with no disruptions, bought a house that was being built and asked them about moving out early and would there be a way to work out the last month. Automatically sent an email saying I have to go through to the end of lease, otherwise pay for a break of lease. I said ok, completely understandable. So I moved out a month ahead of my lease but still paid them. Even turned in my keys and opted to pay for them to clean the apartment (as long as nothing big was left) which was $125. Told them that my dog got a hold of the lifted vinyl but that was the only damage. The day that my lease ended I got a call from the apartments asking when I would be turning in my keys. I was thrown back by this as I did it a month ago. Got charged $50 due to me turning off electricity before my lease ended, even though they already had the keys. They also prorated gas and water at about $68 for the month that I was not there. According to these apartments your pet fee and pet rent due not cover any damages related to your pet. When paying a pet fee at apartments is to cover damages, pet rent is for covering your pet to live there (which since when did my pet get a job to pay rent?) So with that being said I was charged $95 dollars for a section of the floor. Also they tried charging me $150 for cleaning, when I inquired about it I got told that it was that price because there was no prior notice. As stated above I had given plenty of notice, including handing in my apartment keys. They refuse to work any of this out and say that I need to pay for all utilities til the end of my lease. Which I am happy to pay for anything that I use up until I move. DO NOT RENT WITH THEM UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO GIVE WILLY NILLY!!!!!

Jessica I am very sorry that you did not have a good experience at the end of your lease with us. I would love an opportunity to sit down with you and go over all of these issues. Please give me a call or send me and email so we can work out a time that works best for you. My direct email is VenturaMGR@Knightvest.com .
Love living at the Ventura! Very clean environment and dog friendly! Staff has been incredibly helpful during my stay! Highly recommend living here! Management is also amazing and always eager to help! 5 STARS!
Maintenance is great and responds quickly to requests, but other than that, this place is VERY overpriced for such an older complex. No on-site gym, no in-unit washer/dryer, no computer room. That's just absolutely ridiculous to me for what they charge. And there will certainly be hidden fees in your rent, which obviously isn't fun to find out about when you go to pay your rent. Location was great because I worked at Globe Life Park, but I'm sure you can find more value for your buck elsewhere if you are looking to move into the area. I'll be leaving the DFW area at the end of the year, but I definitely wouldn't renew my lease if I was staying.
Lady was so friendly told me one thing was skidish to fill out application stated they where running a special and I fell for it as soon as I left she called and said my application was denied and I couldn’t get my money back never again!!!!!!! Don’t apply liarsssssssss

Good day, I apologize for any problems you may have had applying with us. We do have a rental criteria that everyone was meet in order to be approved or denied. We are always open with that information and every applicant is required to initial and sign the form explaining that criteria so there is no confusion. In that same paperwork, it does also explain what fees are and are not refundable, which each applicant is also required to initial and sign. If you have any questions as to why it came back as denied, we are more than welcome to give you someone to contact and get more clarification. Thank you and we hope you have a great day!
I have been dealing with noise from neighbors' dogs and various issues by the pool since the day we moved in these apartments in April 2016. People will play volleyball and swim after midnight and when I try to talk to the office, they just tell me to call the police. For example, earlier in the summer, people were out drinking and breaking glass bottles by the pool at 2:00am. By the cops came, they were gone, of course. Our upstairs neighbor constantly listens to music with the bass turned up loud and we have asked him repeatedly to turn it down and eventually had to call the office about it. All they said was that they would give him a lease violation. Sean, a Ventura Apartments employee who lives in the apartment below us, found a dog and it's been barking constantly for two days so far. Tonight, we knocked on his door to ask about the dog. He opens the door, says "yeah, I hear the barking, it's taken care of" and slams the door in our faces before we even got a word in. I can understand the stress of finding the dog outside and keeping it for a few days, but all we did was try to ask about the dog and how long it was going to be staying, especially when I have talked to Sean many times and he and the other employees in the office know about my complaints. It's quite unprofessional for a known employee to act like that, even if he's not at work. A few months ago, when I asked about breaking my lease, the office staff told me it would be about $1600, and of course, I can't pay that, but they haven't really done anything to help me with these noisy situations. They just say they will call the resident and ask them to keep the noise down. I definitely wouldn't recommend these apartments. Although the maintenance has been good to us, the paper-thin walls, random people walking around, non-residents in the pool, noisy neighbors, and office staff have not.

Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you have had a less then pleasant time during your stay with us. We always strive to do our best to take care of any issues you had or are currently having in your apartment. If you can please come into the office or give me a call so we can discuss those issues,I would be more than happy to help come up with a solution. You can also email us directly at Info@knightvest.com. Thank you and hope to hear from you soon!
We have been living here for about 6 months and I can not wait to leave. The office staff is nice enough but do not put in a lot of effort to make sure that the maintenance staff is actually doing their jobs correctly or if at all. This summer our AC went out five or six times and they only did temporary fixes. Our AC box is close to twenty years old and does not do it's job effectively causing our electric bill to go up. When talking to the manager about the issue she told me I should just buy box fans and put them everywhere. When we first moved in there was problems with the light switches and sockets not working. I have hounded them about it since but nothing has been done. This week was the last straw. They for whatever reason decided that our patio door leading to our storage closest needed painting. I thought this was odd but hey, I'll take what I can get. The maintenance staff painted the door while it was closed, over the gaps, and hinges effectively sealing the door closed. I can't believe that someone could be this stupid. I talked to the office and nothing still has been done about it. I can't reach my belongings or use my washer and dryer. The location is decent but when games and concerts are going on at the stadium you have no choice but to avoid Collins Street all together. It is noisy day and night, people yelling, cars honking, revving, bumping music and sometimes gunshots. The amount of apathy displayed by the office staff and maintenance crew is shocking. Unless you are okay with fixing things yourself, or just dealing with it, I suggest moving else where. This is the most apathetic and careless apartment complex I have ever lived at.

Hi Dear Resident, I’m sorry to hear you had a less then pleasant time on your first couple of months of your move in. We always strive to do our best to take care of any issues you had or currently have in your apartment. If you can please give us a call, we would love a second chance to take care of any problems you currently have. We would love to be of any help and we hope to hear from you soon!
Our experience with Ventura has been both positive and negative. However, I have lived in a few apartments and I have to say this was my least favorite place I have stayed at. The office staff is nice, but if you need to contact the regional manager for any reason, be prepared for a rude response. There are many issues with our apartment complex-- our tub is plastic like-- it bends thus leaving cracks. No matter how many time we call maintenance, it still cracks and creates issues. It is as if it was not installed properly. We have light-swithes that do not work or don't even seem to be hooked up to the ceiling fan in our bedroom. We were promised an updated sink, but we still remain with the older sink. These are relatively small things, but most of them do not impact my living situation. It doesn't matter how many times you clean or try to take care of your apartment, we had pests since day one. We called maintenance several times for pest control. Things seemed fine for awhile, but roaches kept popping up. I have never had such an issue with roaches like this before! I am happy they have pest control coming by weekly, so if you are willing to take a chance for price, they do have pest control coming by every week. However, the German roaches still remain. I had noisey neighbors, which is not at fault at the apartment, but that was also not a bonus. Overall, our first impression was great. We loved the apartment when we moved in, but lots of issues kept popping up. With any apartment you are going to run into several problems here and there, but again, I would not recommend this place. Price is ok and fair, no complaints about payment. Again, office staff is really nice and
I have been living here now for 2 years. My kids and I love it here, the staff are very friendly and they assist you in a timely manner which is a big plus when living in an apartment. The schools and shopping are all near by. I would deff recommend it.
Friendly neighbors , great office workers! I can't complain about the property
I love everything about my complex. From the well maintained buildings, to the unique architecture and design. They are conveniently located to everything I need. The staff is professional and caring and responds to issues in a prompt manner. The best part is getting an upgraded apartment for a very affordable price. Definitely the best apartments in the Arlington area.
We have gotten some new management, and after nearly a year of construction its finally quiet during the day again. Unfortunately with the remodel they think their apartments are now worth way more than they are. The complex was built in the 70s and still has signs all over of its age. Their location is key though. Being right off Collins and Brown means you're very close to everything in Arlington. Overall a good place, but not low incone friendly.
