we all seem to like the amenities and community. but some apartments are solid others are falling apart at the seams. if you really want to do it you should probably go for the top floor.

It's June 23 and the pool has not been open all year. Initially the office reported it would be open Memorial Day weekend. This is the Carolinas, we don't wait until Memorial Day like up north to open pools, every other pool around was open 2-3 weeks prior to Memorial Day. However, the pool didn't open, and now it's late June and we're still waiting. The office continues to give no information other than "we had a problem and now it's fixed, we're just waiting to pass inspection and it'll be open". They've been saying that for 3 weeks and we still have no pool or no idea when it'll be open. The TV's in the fitness center haven't worked since the new mgmt took over last August. Dog poop everywhere because the bag stations are consistently out of bags. My 1 BR apt was vacant for 2 months when I was out of town, I unplugged everything except for fridge and stove, turned off heat/AC unit, and my electric bill was still $60 each month even though nothing was on. Foyer and steps area never gets cleaned. Did I mention, it's late June and we've had 7 weeks of 80-100 degree weather and we still have no pool?

I chose this property because it had everything we wanted: great location, a big dog park, a pool, fitness center, washer and dryer hookups, and a safe environment. After living here for a couple of weeks, I can say I am so impressed with the quality of the apartment, the AMAZING pool, the great Amazon Hub, and everything this complex has to offer. I feel safe walking my dog at night and love that it is so quiet here yet close to everything. The Caravelle model that I am in is so spacious and has a unique layout that makes it feel open and not like other "cookie cutter" apartments. Also- the staff is great here (Beth gave us a wonderful tour and Ryan answered all of our questions before moving in).

I have been living at bexley harborside for about one year now since I have been here everything has been great the maintenance at the facility is fantastic. Im proud to have company over my place for dinner. the staff at the club house (heather Kara ) are very hands on the pool is always spotless and inviting and the BBG area always clean and ready to go thanks to Anthony always maintaining the building and the out side area I give harborside at bexley 5 star ...... AMAZING. My fiance and I only left this place to be closer to work. We had a great experience from start to finish. Move in was simple and easy. Maintenance is friendly and very quick to fix anything. Grounds are well kept, safe, and clean. All office staff are polite and helpful. Prices are fair. Move out was a simple and pleasant experience. Definitely recommend to anyone. Surrounding community is quiet and safe. Lots of places close by for shopping and dining.

I have been a resident here for a few years. I had thought about moving a while because I was not really that thrilled with things but am lazy and decided to stick around for a bit more. I am glad I have. The office has seen a bit of turnover and the new team in there is making a big difference. I can tell in how quickly they respond when I have an issue and how things have started to get cleaned up and handled faster. I love our pool area and am glad the weather is finally going to let me get out there again. I am also a fan of the starbucks coffee they have in the clubhouse (FREE!). Every time I go in there they are always nice and chat with me. I am glad I have renewed and really enjoy living here now.

Bexley at Harbor side is a safe place to live with many accommodations. I first want to mention that the turn over rate in the front office has declined tremendously. The property manager Maria has been there for while now and is the best manager this place has seen since I've been here for over three years. The employees that work for Maria are great as well Aaron and Hagen. I've never felt rushed or anything when going to the office, they always put a smile on my face! You have a newly upgraded gym with all new workout equipment. The pool is always bustling and people are courteous, all the accommodations are 24/7. The clubhouse feels like a café, this is refreshing compared to other complexes that do not put the time of day to impress its potential tenants. The environment is kept always looking fresh. Living here has been a positive experience!

We have been here 5-6 months. The property and neighborhood surrounding is nice, quiet, dog friendly. The location is good but the traffic is really bad on Catawba almost all day. There has been alot of turnover in the office in just the time we have been here. The community center was a big part of our decision...24 hr access, 24 hr coffee, gas grills, computer/internet access. The coffee was hit or miss if it had cups or sugar, coffee etc.. 4 months into our lease they closed the community center for renovations, they have completely gutted it. We received no notice of these plans when they were selling us on it at the time we signed the lease, we have been given no time table of when it will reopen. They have offered no alternatives, even hotels offer a local gym access if they dont have a fitness center. The rate the construction is going Im not optimistic it will be within our lease. Also the $40 I pay to rent a washer and dryer a month gives me an older set that does not even have a fabric softener dispenser. Its a shame, its a nice neighborhood but I dont see the value for the money, they should take "luxury" off the sign. We will not likely renew our lease..I have learned from this place to only pay what you are willing to pay for just the apartment without any of the "bells and whistles" they try and sell you on.

This is a good place to live. Quiet, nice residents and great units. I've always felt safe here even though I've seen Cornelius's finest on the property a few times. Maintenance is lightning fast and office staff is friendly and helpful, but there is a lot of turnover in the office (not a big deal to me). Parking is decent. There are a few boats which take up a lot of space. My only complaint is that my rent increased 9.7% this year. I know rents increase everywhere, but 9.7% seems pretty high.They lured me in with a great initial rate and then I find out my second year will be quite a bit more. Overall it's a good place to live.

The apartment is in good shape and quiet except for the footsteps from above. Price is higher than I am used to paying but among comparable apartments it is reasonable. People are always moving in and out. Seems to be transitional housing for young people and families between college and more permanent housing as is the case for the adjoining neighborhoods. Management seems to be decent however I have not had much need to deal with them. The maintenance crew have golf carts they run around on. One of these golf carts has a machete attached that they leave unattended all around the complex quite often.
Bexley Harborside is the perfect place to live. Its right around the corner from birkdale with great shops and minutes from 77. The staff is very friendly and they have helped me a ton when switching properties. The complex is small so you don't actual feel like you are living on top of people. I love the community next to the complex because its great for me to walk my dogs through in the evening. The complex is the safest I have ever lived in as well. I couldn't ask for a better place to live with my family.

We moved here from Texas and rented this apt online site unseen. We were a little sceptacal at first but after getting here we were very pleased. It is conventiently located to I77, stores and a Mall close by. The apt was spotless when we moved in, when we got here the manager Maria gave us a tour and showed us the complex and where to find everything. We had one maintance problem and it was fixed within 12 hours. Also a very quiet place to live, overall we have no complaints.
