Property Ratings at The Verge Greeley - Historical Access
The property is constantly dirty, units are dirty. You ask for maintenance help and they will hand wave you for months. Not to mention that they have a roach problem across multiple units and act like it is okay despite it being a health hazard.

DO NOT RENT HERE!! Do not be fooled by the model you are shown for this property. We showed up to move my son in and were handed keys by an intern at the desk, no management to be found anywhere. When we first entered the apartment we were overcome by the smell of rotting trash and mold. Upon entering the apartment we encountered a total disaster in the shared "common area". There were piles of trash, stained carpet, holes in the wall, layers of dirt and dust on the walls and shared furniture, The blinds had been torn to shreds and there was a kenneled dog who had ripped apart the furniture. When we entered what would have been my sons room, the mattress was filthy and there was mold all over the bathtub, toilet and sink. When we returned to the office to address the issues we were told by the intern that sometimes that apartments are a little messy and that we should take pictures so that we wouldn't be responsible down the road for damage. When asked if we could speak to a manager we were told they were unable to come in and that there were no other available apartments he could move into. We left without moving him in and he then had to commute an hour to his new job until we could find him somewhere else to live. We are still waiting for a refund for his deposit. Please don't make the same mistake we did and move your son or daughter here.

As a college student, I appreciate that the rent is affordable. They’ve also got nice amenities here. I have not had any issues so far.

Hello! We are thrilled to hear that our affordability and amenities meet your needs as a college student. We strive for seamless experiences, so it's fantastic to know that no issues have cropped up for you. Thank you for the excellent review!
Me and my roommates moved in around 6 months ago and put in a request for stuff that was broken when we moved in. Two of the three have been fixed but still have a door frame that’s on its last legs. The Maintenance team said they ordered a door frame 6 months ago so it’s either lost or forgotten. Other than that it’s been a good experience at the verge with the community events.
Property Manager at The Verge Greeley - Historical Access, Responded To This Review
We truly apologize for the oversight and inconvenience you have experienced with the door frame. Our maintenance team strives to resolve all issues promptly, however it seems we've dropped the ball on this occasion. We are actively looking into your case and assure you that we'll get the door frame fixed at the earliest opportunity.
I came in for a tour not too long ago and the staff gave out great information and made me feel comfortable in my decision! I hope to sign my lease soon!

Thank you for the 5 star review! We are so glad to hear you enjoy living here!
I took over someone’s lease for the last two months of the lease term and ended up moving out before that two months were over. The apartment was gross upon moving in, like they didn’t check it or clean it when the previous person moved in. The furniture that the apartment is furnished with is covered in stains of who knows what, so I had to bring my own mattress and never once sat on the living room furniture. All I’m saying is please keep the apartments a little cleaner for what is charged ??

We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the condition of your unit upon a lease takeover move-in. Unfortunately, when lease take-overs happen, sometimes the previous resident does not take the initiative to make the apartment as clean as possible. We have a maintenance team that would be more than happy to address any of the issues that you had experienced to ensure that every resident is getting the best experience possible. If there is any other questions, comments, or concerns that you might have please call or email our office at 970.330.4337 or thevergegreeley@assetliving.com
Not worth the money I so regret signing my lease for next year.
I will not be staying here another year. The staff can be great on occasion but in no way does that make up for the fact that rent has increased by $100 without an increase in quality (that's only if you sign 10 month in advance!). The walls are paper thin, I can hear people outside as if they are in the room with me. The buildings (especially the ones in the back) are in a constant state of filth. When I went in to ask about getting our building cleaned I was ignored by the staff member I addressed and the other flippantly stated that "that's something we already know need to be done. It's not in our budget, so there isn't anything we can do about it." To be fair the budget is not their fault, but you'd think that maybe they can sacrifice one "free slice Friday" to make their apartments less of a health hazard. I can't touch the hand rails on our stairs without my hand coming back covered in grit and who knows what else. The cement it practically black and is always littered with ash and cigarette butts. The furniture is made of easily broken structure board and the table is literally impossible to get clean because the stain is so cheap. The dish washer is a glorified sprinkler, I'm lucky if the dishes don't come out worse than when I put them in. Basically with this apartment complex you and your roomates are paying high end prices for a low quality turn out. There are definitely better options in Greeley
TBH this place is run by some shady people. The apartments are nice and a good deal for rent for everything included, however they charge you for the dumbest things. I hadn't even moved in yet and I had already paid them over $1,500. ALSO they charge you for a whole first month of rent in August even though you don't move in until the 16th which is bull crap. I'm pretty sure 90% of the things they do and charge for is illegal. They locked me into a lease BEFORE checking my credit and/or my parents credit history AND THEN proceeded to tell me that I can not live there, but I'm still locked into a lease? How does that work? Honestly do not recommend living here at all.
Avoid at all costs! It will cost you money in the long run. Avoid avoid avoid. The staff is trained to scheme and scam.
The grove is perfect for college students looking to rent for the first time! The entities that come with your unit are fantastic! Fully furnished apartment units, pool, sand volleyball, basketball, and events for residents at the clubhouse every week! They can even match you up with roommates based on compatibility if you are new to the area. Management can be difficult to work with sometimes, but if you can look past that it's an awesome place to live!
Bed bugs, maintenance ignored, security gates inoperable, old drunk loitering at stairwells, B. at front desk could care less, accounting a mess.
Not even worth 1 star DO NOT even think about living here.... It is terrible. They never have a consistent staff the property manager always changed. The current one (Wilson) is never there. They will do everything that can to steal your money and will purposely ignore you phone calls when you try to ask for it back. But they will always make sure you have paid your rent by the 6th by constantly harassing you....but when they owe you money they will avoid you like the plague. In fact for anything to get fix or done you have to call or sit in the office for hours. DO NOT LIVE THERE!! THEY WILL ONLY STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!
I lived at the Grove for 1 year, I just moved out on the 31st of July because of their shady ways. Prior to signing the lease,I had to pay the first month's rent, the last months rent and also a $250.00 fee for "events" which never happened. The first two months bill, were normal, but by the third and fourth month the utilities bill jumped to $55 each. When we asked to see the reason behind the increase of utilities, because my roommates and I worked full-time and also full-time workers, they just gave us the run around.lastly the Grove do not care about their tenants because my roommates toilet was not flushing thourghly and when she put in a work order, it took them 5 months to take a look at it; not only that, my sink was clogged and when I put in a work order, they never showed up.
The Grove at Greeley is the perfect place to have enough privacy and still be only $500 a month.$500 a month gets you a large bedroom with big walk in closet and bathroom in a shared common space with 3 units in an apartment. Includes oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and furniture(In the bedroom, a bed, a desk and side table and a chest of drawers. In the living area a dining table and chairs for 4, couch, chair ,end table and a coffee table. There is a shared washer and dryer in each 3 person apartment. The utilities are included. Water and electricity have caps and the apartment pays overages. The pool is nice and big. Basketball court and sand volley ball area. There is a lot of covered and well lit parking. The staff is great. They take time to help. I am glad to have found it.
I've heard nothing but great things about this place can't wait to move in
The Grove apartments offers alot of amenities. Included in the rent is free cable, internet, and most utilities paid. There is a 24 hour gym and pool, basket ball court and game room. Apartments are spacious and clean. This is an affordable, quiet place to live.
