My daughter and I love it here. It’s a good and safe neighborhood. They are always quick if maintenance is needed! All of the amenities make it an even better experience being here. They always have so many activities, events and food trucks coming. Shows how much they care for their residents. If you want a good place to live with a beautiful view and lots of amenities, I highly recommend!

I have lived here for 2 years now and never had a problem. It’s safe and gated. Also the leasing office is always doing events for the residents every month, we have food trucks come by, yoga and more.

Do not rent with this community. First of all, they put me in an old unit when I had requested an updated unit and it was infested with roaches and termites. A flying termite literally fell down on my pillow in bed and roaches were crawling in my porcelain. When I requested to move to an updated unit like promised, I had to wait for 1.5 months. At my “new” unit (all buildings are really old and in need of serious repairs) it was raining into my living room floor and it had mold (the leasing office denied this though but I could smell it and experienced mold sensitivity symptoms. I meet the dry wall was all wet!!!) They never repaired it as needed, just tried to patch up little areas to cover the issue. The rents are outrageous for these old units that aren’t taken care of, and some of the ladies at the office give you an attitude when you say something. The only positive I can say about this place is that the maintenance workers are really nice and that the surroundings are pretty. I recommend you to stay away or you’ll soon be miserable.
This is an Amazing community. We moved from out of state and Catie was Awesome about answering and easing our concerns. The property is beautiful!!!! We have been So Happy that we chose The View at Waters Edge!!!
My boyfriend and I were initially looking into renting for the first time together earlier this June. We saw available listings for The View online and immediately fell in love. Once we put in our application, we were contacted by Nelly, who has been our saving grace for the entirety of the rental process. She helped us through all the paperwork, getting in our pay stubs and proof of employment—both of us work in the restaurant industry—and she made our experience (which was already incredibly daunting and stressful) a much smoother, and pleasant process than I could’ve bargained for. We were on the waitlist for about two months, and Nelly would make sure to check in with us and let us know exactly where we were at over the course of the wait. She made sure to answer absolutely any questions we had about our possible move in date—believe me, we called far more than we should have—and was always so sweet and accommodating, making us feel like we were already right at home. We have lived here now for almost 3 months, and I have absolutely ZERO complaints. Our apartment is the perfect size for us, and our baby kitty Onyx is really enjoying having all the roaming space to himself. All in all, the ease of the entire process (thanks to Nelly) and the beautiful community speak for themselves. At a time when rent prices are skyrocketing and finding an apartment in such a short period within our budget seemed virtually impossible for us, The View was a perfect match. 10/10 would recommend :)
customer service sucks. no apology. they will talk over you when you express your frustration about things that they have done. the worst customer service that you can expect.
Quiet, conveniently located and dog friendly community with tons of amenities! Office staff is always helpful, they made my out-of-state move completely stress free. Maintenance is friendly and professional upon entering unit. Joe is awesome! He came and quickly fixed an emergency leak I didn't even know I had and was very sweet to my fur baby. 10/10 would recommend!
Could be better. I definitely feel like whenever we interact with the office it’s always an attitude. For as much as we pay to live in this community I have high expectations so it could definitely improve. The trash is always disgusting, overfilled, or out of order. They will fine you if you put your trash in front of your door even if it’s 5AM and you don’t feel safe to bring your garbage Until it’s a bit lighter outside. Oh and then take your trash to the dumpster by placing it in your car, GROSS! The couches at the pool always have iguana or duck poop, even with “cleaner guidelines” in place. Empty beer cans and musk usually are evident by the newly added hammock. False photos of dog park it’s an empty lot with dug up dirt and no agility things for dogs. Maintenance usually has to be called 3-4x before a true problem is fixed. Oh let’s not forget the one time a maintenance worker asked my sister for her number and to hang out when he’s not working. Just weird. Do better.
Shay was very helpful with the entire move in process! She made a stressful time fun and exciting. We decided to pick the smaller apartment which has worked out well, especially financially. We also have a small dog and the space is workable. The community is beautiful and the gym is perfect for my needs.Minor downfalls would be other people don’t pick up their dogs waste, and the trash compactor gets nasty from people leaving bags OUTSIDE the door. Other then that it’s been a great experience.
Truly the best Shay was amazing quick and efficient getting myself and roommate into our new apartment. She made the transition easy and axcomadring. Herself and the rest of the leasing office staff have made the process effortless. I would recommend this community and Shay. If you are looking for a new home come by and ask for Shay she will take great care of you.
I just recently moved into a new apartment, just me in the one/one it is very spacious and the community is maintained very well. Always clean, the aminties they offer are 5 star! When I was going through the process of getting In my leasing agent Amanda was fantastic. Best in her field. Unbelievably helpful, smart and made me feel so comfortable. She has all the answers and could answer and questions or ease any concerns I may have had! I recommend this community to everyone who has high expectations.
I don't usually write reviews, but I feel as if I need to write one for this complex. I was searching for a new apartment and the level of service I received while looking here was awesome. Even though it didn't have exactly what I wanted (I'm very picky) I ended up here because the office staff was seriously accommodating. The agent that helped me was Amanda, and she went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed and answered every question I had without hesitation. If you are in the market for a new apartment, I highly recommend this place and ask for Amanda when doing so!! I love all of my neighbors and have not had any problems here whatsoever. I enjoy bringing my friends to my place because I know how impressed they will be with the area. Truly pleased with this place! Thank you guys!
I am beyond grateful to have found such an amazing apartment complex! The location is very safe and convenient, the upkeep of the community itself is impressive, and the staff are top notch. Amanda is who helped me find my apartment and she made the process go smoother than I could’ve imagined. She was very attentive to my needs and answered all of my questions with ease. With all the hastle moving can bring, it was nice to have such a great team working to make everything as simple as possible! Thank you Amanda! Highly recommend this community.
About a month ago my husband and I were looking to downsize and move into an apartment. I looked at several places and was disappointed in the level of service I received,but when I came to look at The Virw At Waters Edge I was so impressed by the staff everyone was so friendly and helpful. My leasing agent ( AMANDA) was the best. She made sure all my needs were mee and since we moved in I have needed help with all me things and Amanda is always there to help.

The office and maintenance staff have been very nice. Everything is kept up well. Very responsive to any type of issues. Very nice gym/pool/clubhouse. I have enjoyed living here. Would recommend this place to anyone.
Amanda and Shay were extremely helpful. This was my fiancée and I’s first time living away from home and they made the transition easier with their drive to make sure we were comfortable and knew exactly what we were getting into. Totally recommend working with them if you’re looking into renting here :)
I have to say that Shay and the Management Team at The View at Waters Edge have been a pleasure to work with! Everyone has been polite, professional, and they give you the sense that they truly want their tenants to enjoy themselves in their home. This property and this team really stood out amongst the rest of the complexes around. Look at the other reviews. You won't go wrong looking into the View to see if it's a fit, then you can meet this rockstar team and decide for yourself!
Currently live at The View and so far my family and I are really enjoying it, office, maintenance and everyone is great making it easy and convenient to get things done in the complex and apt. Amanda P. From the office is Super efficient!!! Friendly, respectful, honest and always has the time (or at least she makes it feel that way knowing how busy she must be with such a big apt complex)to help answer questions and take care of any request from beginning to end. I’ve been a resident since 2016 and had a few problems here and there, the girls at the leasing office were always very nice......until recently when a new office manager named Elizabeth took over and is one of the rudest people I’ve ever come in contact with. I’ve been told several times by her to “get out” simply for asking for a copy of my lease and again when i came in to inquire about a recent notice on my door. I was also told by her that she would “gladly let me out of my lease” when i simply called to ask when the gate, that’s been broken since 2016, would finally be fixed. As someone who works in custom service you should be doing whatever you can to keep residents in your complex as well as happy. I was fully prepared to renew my lease as i was very happy but after the new “management” I’m prepared to make the change to a more respectful community that values customer service. I was also told i was no longer aloud to enter the leasing office or speak to anyone besides her which is absolutely ludicrous. She’s very unfamiliar with accepting the fact this position is not for her. I’m always very pleasant with the girls because i know i hate when someone takes their anger out on me in my field of customer service. I would NEVER suggest moving here unless you enjoy being told to get out for asking a simple question. What ever happened to simple respect?
I moved in before this new management took over. To start the gate has not worked the whole time I have been here , if they fix it it will be broke the next day despite installing cameras they can’t stop it. People leave there garbage outside the compactor on a daily bases. Management has even sent group text pleading for people not to. The gym has been non existent since I’ve been here. (That’s years). The pool is also a no go zone, not going into details. This is not a safe area people get there cars broken into on a regular basis. I honestly have no idea how they charge what they do for rent yet it’s in this state.
I was a resident here for 1 term lease and had to extended 1 month due to home closing date. I found this complex on apartments.com and many others. I went with this because of the additional trailer storage on site. Little did I know how I was going to be treated so badly after my lease was finally up. Without notification they canceled my automatic payment option upon last day of my lease and did not explain this would happen. In doing this caused me to be late on final rent payment. This incurred a C-Note late charge. OK I should have made sure the rent was paid that is on me. However I checked my account on their website and noticed additional charges showing due. The charges due were for a $300.00 final water bill for the last three months of my lease. I asked how I could have incurred a water bill for three months so high with one person living in the apartment and for the last year my water bill was never over $30.00 a month. I was told the water meters were broken for the last year and they were just fixed upon my move out. How convenient. Please stay away from this place as you will probably end with the same problems as I. They will take your money. You will not get you deposit back!!!!!!!!
I moved here in July 2017. My apartment is great, first floor and right next to the lake. Minor issues were resolved quickly, and they even call me to ask for permission for management to go inside the apartment when I'm not home, which is nice. Leasing office staff is always very helpful. But lately, I've been having problems with my A/C and pest control. My A/C has broken 3 times in the past months, and it takes more than 1 week to solve the problem. Right now, its not working...again. Last time they fixed the A/C, they put a provisional window A/C, but I couldn't stand the bad smell coming from the unit so I had to turn it off or I was going to suffocate. Also, probably in the moment they put and took out the window A/C, they had to open the window, and given that I live in the first floor, every little bug gets in easily. I have earthworms, lizards, salamanders and cockroaches inside my bedroom. I called to solve the situation and they left a note saying the situation was under control, but I still have all kinds of bugs inside my apartment. I honestly like the apartment, the complex, and the staff people, but this situation can't keep going on...or I will definitely need to move ASAP!
Stay away from this place. I have never left a negative review to anyone anywhere. But I wish I have never rented here. Gym doesn't exist for 3 years (maybe even longer). No official leasing office for couple years. Ants and spiders are everywhere inside and outside your apartment, gates are broken all the time and it is very very very dark at night. I don't know why they don't even fix those lights. Would you at least fix those lights near garbage? I feel scary to go out to trash at night. And in this place, if you don't complain, they never do the work. Look at the stairs, leaves and dirt are everywhere for months. They have not yet tired to clean it. Most important, renters be aware! They will increase your renewal for 7%! And claimed that it is common and it is based on market price. Without all these facilities and with poor management, I don't understand how they increase that much. If you are ok with 7% increase every year, then stick here. Otherwise, I suggest you to go somewhere else. Speaking of the crews, property manager seems ok. But few staffs are not friendly when you try to complain the situation. She stared at me and claimed that she spoke for residents. But what did you do to help your residents?
I have never been so disgusted with a management company and front office, including their maintenance. I’ve been living in mold and standing water in the walls for a month and they just recently started to rectify the situation. There have been multiple break ins and stabbing that they continue to deny, there is no working security, no Gate that actually works, the club house has been under construction for almost 3 years with no visible change, there is trash EVERYWHERE, they don’t care about anyone’s safety. Carolina the office manager left me a messGe asking me “what’s my problem?” In a very rude tone after their maintenance works cut a hole in my walls and left the debri outside of my apartment for days. I finally decided to take the trash to them and they were very unhappy that future tenants heard me voice my displeasure with their staff. I have renewed my lease here for the SECOND AND LAST TIME!!! They are completely unconcerned with their tenants needs. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Save your money
I've lived here for a little over 2 years. I like the grounds and some of the office staff, but the apartments are in desperate need of work! The pest problem is OUT OF CONTROL and the security is nil. I have had them spray twice in 3 months, but still have roaches--and I am super careful about bugs. Can't control them. They sell you on the gym that has been in the works since before I was here and the security--but the gates never work and a lot of not-so-great people can just walk in. Crime is pretty prevalent here lately. Sad. :(
Moved into the View at Waters Edge March 4, 2017. The complex is clean and very tropical when you enter from the main road. I had some minor maintenance issues which were resolved quickly. Although the clubhouse and fitness center rehab is not completed, the pool is really nice and clean. A special thanks to Kalli from the management office who was very helpful upon my tour of the complex and subsequent move in.
Lived there for couple of years. It's a gated community with the gates open 24/7. Gates were always open for anyone to drive in. Gym was closed for repairs. Whole neighborhoods have been built in the time it's taken to redo gym. Per friend that lives there, gym is still not done and now going on 2 years closed. Management is nice until there is an issue. Then not so nice. And they charge you for everything. And it is quite overpriced for what you get.

We too share your frustration with our fitness center and leasing office renovation - unfortunately we are at the mercy of the county permitting department and look forward to completing the project as soon as possible. Assuredly, the new space will be stunning and a wonderful addition to our other community amenities including free kayak rentals, expansive bark park, one mile walking trail, putting green, resort style pool and more. It's easy to see why our residents enjoy calling The View home!
I have been staying at the view for a couple of months now, the staff is very outgoing and helpful. I live near the back area of the neighborhood and its very quiet most people stay to themselves. The pool area is excellent, its very relaxing with nice scenary. My only complaints would be being the only apartments in my building with carpet and having ants. When they send out pest control they never see the ants and their spraying doesnt really help to much. Besides that i would say the view is a great place to live.

The community is located in a fantastic location close to the I95 and Congress. The neighborhood is well kept and a fun place to run around outside with your kids. Over the last 5 years there hasn't been so much as a raccoon jay walking in the neighborhood so you have that feeling of safety. We truly enjoy it here.

This complex has the most relaxing colors painted on the buildings. The pool area makes it's residents feel as if their at a 5 star hotel. Maintenance is always courteous and the entrance to the many of the common areas are so extravagant. It definitely makes one feel at home.

Overall the apartment itself is great. Large living area. The bedrooms aren't small and the closets and bathrooms are large. My unit is right on the lake. The complex is under new management and they are remodeling all of the units. Large dog park that has hoops and various other activities for dog owners. The gym is being remodeled as well. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it took about a month for them to finally fix my a/c.
This complex has been renovated recently and has really made great changes. We have tennis courts, kids playground, volleyball, dog park, pool, gym and clubhouse that has monthly events for residents. The apartments are one or two bedrooms, there are lakes by each building and plenty of parking. All apartments have either their own laundry room or laundry closet. It is a gated community near shopping and schools. The maintenance crew is very helpful and always available. I have been here almost a year and plan on being here for a long time.
