Upon move in, the apartment had bed bugs that were growing in colonies on the wall. They would not treat them, blamed us for them and said it was our responsibility. The air condition units are on the roof and not covered...in TEXAS! So expect a huge electric bill in the summer! Ours was over $400 a month for an apartment thats not even 900 sq ft. Dog park doesn't even have grass, just dirt and will always be muddy.

My lease is up in 9 days and they gave me a notice to vacate based on the fact I kept emailing them because they never service my apt. I have paid my rent on time every month and I do not owe them a dime. They have not filed an eviction (it takes two weeks at least) and I will be out by that time/the end of my lease. They tried to bully me out 2 weeks early by using a scare tactic. They raised the rent and they already overcharge. I can’t count how many work orders I have put in that say “completed” yet no one has completed them. The grounds are disgusting and not well kept.

So the rent went up this year and while that seems to happen to everyone I’m never ok with my rent going up. Normally your rents goes up but everything else stays the same, not at the View! I’ve noticed in the year that I’ve been living here things are growing and looking better everyday. People are even picking up their dog poop more often. I love how my kids can come outside to play and I know they won’t bring poop onto my floors. The exercise room has upgraded with a new camera which makes me comfortable to workout alone. A lot of people don’t like this apartment but if u keep to yourself and keep ur doorstep clean I promise it will be the best apartment in Lewisville

They shut your water off all the time and yet repairs are still constantly having to be made. They spend money upgrades signs and things that will bring in more business but don’t take care of the issues that the actual tenants are dealing with. I pay my rent on time and ahead of time and have given them no issues yet I can’t simply shower most days because of the constant water shut offs.

First off let me just say this is the most unprofessional and inconsiderate place every. The front desk people can never keep their word or Communicate with management. The first year was horrible almost paid more than what the apartment was for because Someone didn’t do their job and took my information down for that apartment apparently she didn’t remember me from the last time we spoke. Once I got in the apartment The floor border around the floor look like termites ate from it, had mold in my cabinet and had a leak in the carpet they couldn’t fixed and all they did was cover the mold with paint, brought new carpet but floor kept leaking so o had to just deal with it, how gross management wasn’t honest also never kept their word and it’s the same crap. when I transferred to my new place trying to stay with the apartments I thought would get better but didn’t they had a month to get everything situated. My air was out, sink head fell off when trying to straighten up the place, slide door didn’t have the bar to lock it nor lock attach to lock in case of a robbery, I had to wait to the following week to get my air fix they gave me one window unit for my whole apartment, as an apartment complex you should have an emergency maintenance guy in these cases especially when 3 other people air was out in a hot summer for Texas come on now! Don’t come stay here they over charge for the amenities they trying to rebuild here which is outside amenities their not rebuilding your apartments, their just patching the leaks and cracks

Don’t bother! The staff is rude and very unprofessional. Everything breaks down and takes them for ever to repair you literally have to go in person and raise hell to get something fixed around there.
This place is a living nightmare when you finish your lease and decide to leave. They lost our 60 day notice letter that was attached to our rent check and claiming we never turned one in, however they didn’t misplace the rent check because it cleared 3 days later. We have been back and forth with them and getting nowhere yet we have copy of the original letter that was dropped off with the check info and even emailed a copy of the letter to ourselves as well as the office. Just ridiculous, very unorganized and the staff is rude. Also had many issues with our fridge going out and they had to fix it 4 times and it went out the week we moved and had issues with AC and took them a wk to do anything about it. Find a better home.... if they would get new staff it would probably make a big difference!
This is the worst apartment in the entire city of Lewisville. I moved my mother-in-law in there because it was close to us. It took them 4 months to put a laundry room door on. They never replaced the locks on the outside storage doors and she was there over a year. There are insects. They are never available in the office. You have to chase them down to pay rent. They never responded to other repair requests. We gave them move out notice multiple times and within literally 2 weeks of moving out, and one week after getting a final bill, we got collection calls today. They did not credit our $1000 deposit. They charged fees for re-letting the apartment, fees to move stuff across the alley to the dumpster that my mother-in-law and I couldn't move. They now won't take calls to discuss it. They are terrible people, and if you work there, it tells everything about you. We were actually going to pay for part of this but not now. I would not wish thos place on my worst enemy.
The machines ruin your clothing. Really bad quality. Don't move here it's very unprofessional. Everything is so gross. The apartments smell and if you ever need anything fixed they won't do it. The maintenance never shows up. The ac doesn't work. Just move somewhere else. Don't bother with this place.
It doesn't work. They never fix it. They never listen to the residents. Move somewhere where you are heard and people actually care.
Don't move here unless you want a host of issues that keep coming. Dishwasher was broken before I even moved in, and it took 10 days and a second request for them to fix it. The maintenance person, Felix, jacked my A/C all the way to 60 and left it there for me to find because he forgot to at least put it back to normal. The apartment was not clean, the floors were dusty and covered in some kind of brown film, either dirt or spray paint from them painting the kitchen cabinets. I had to clean it top to bottom before moving in. Also the patio screen door was missing amongst other things. After move in, found out the neighbors play continuous loud rap music, they love their bass. Took multiple complaints to the manager to resolve, and though it's mostly stopped it still happens. Poor insulation for sound to the outside, you hear car horns going off all the time, and car alarms when you're trying to sleep because people don't change their car battery and it keeps going on the fritz. People outside at night just talking normally and you can hear them, makes it worse when they are being loud and belligerent. Someone set off fireworks in the parking lot at midnight, like the real ones and snapped me out of deep sleep. The carpet reeks and the smell won't go away. The smell will stick to you and everything you own so you reek even though you just took a shower and put on clean clothes. Recently they did a bug "treatment" which actually caused bug issues (it wasn't a problem before they did this) and gave my cat fleas who had never had them before, an expense I have to pay to remedy. If you need anything done, just expect that no one answers the phone or emails so go to the office any time you need something done. There's more but this should suffice in hopefully deterring you from moving in here.
I've lived at this apartment community for over 3 years now and it has steadily IMPROVED over that time. the office staff continues to raise the bar on their professionalism and service attitude toward their residents. The only negative is maintenance's procrastination in replacing or repairing the outside lighting on the buildings, tennis court and the back end of the property. They continue to make improvements to the community in all areas (landscaping, facilities and infrastructure) and have made a solid and improving effort to enforce the community rules/standards to make the area a better and safer place to call home.
management is horrible! they keep losing my rent money. couldn't provide me a sticker to my own car for 2 months, so i had to park in the visitor's parking till one was available. come to find out they could of easy signed a parking pass for me. ive lived here for 7 months and the laundy machines are literally all broken. im not even lying! its unbelievable! ive submitted 5 request for maintenance and once i went to file a complaint 3 months later then they decide to come by that same day and even then didnt fix all the issues. i only have 2 months left in this area and in out! they cannot keep up with living standards at all but are huge penny pinchers. they want to charge $150 for and item on someone elses balcony how can you even make that mistake?! it took 3 weeks for that to be fixed! they are ready to charge but cant seem to find time to fix my oven! my oven! i cant even cook because of this. i hate this place so much and ive only touched the tip of the iceberg. stay away
Nothing but problems since I moved in. Management is a joke. A/C froze up and leaking all over the place, toilets backing up into the bath tub (disgusting). The place not cleaned upon move in, You name it, this place is a nightmare. Maintenance staff is non-existent. There is dog waste all over the grounds, can't wait for the smell of that this summer!! Very scary people walking around the property. For example, witnessed a drug deal go down in the parking lot. People working on their cars in the parking lot. There is a "fast & furious" crowd that lives in the complex and love to rev their cars and work on them all night long. The place is loaded with people with kids and they run the complex unsupervised. There is absolutely no parking and they have the nerve to charge $15 for a reserved space. The apartments are so old you can hear through the walls. Anywhere from babies crying, people stomping, yelling, t.v.s blaring and not to mention whatever ethnic food is being cooked seeps through the walls. There is a huge bug problem, have had the exterminators in 6 times! Why they won't exterminate the whole building doesn't make sense. The place is infested. I am sorry for making for the decision to move there just to stay close to work. Counting the days until I can get out of there.
visitors to Westview are evidently not very welcome. the few spaces provided are not clearly marked for them & are out of the way, even though there appears to be plenty of open spaces. every entrance into the complex has a big sign warning about towing which Westview happily does! you would think an apartment complex would welcome potential tenants by providing this very basic need. Westview does NOT!!!
When I first moved in I have to admit, I was happy that there was no playground. No playground=no kids. Now that there are new owners the apartments are becoming "kid friendly". That is a downer for me; also the water payments are allocated so that is another downside for me. But for the good points overall the campus is clean, the staff is approachable and there are no major issues with my apartments mechanical or pests-wise. The new owners have upgraded everything, even the laundry room, to make it look more like home. I've been there for the past three years now and referred a number of people, it's a nice spot for an amazing price.
