South Nashville is a sprawling district covering just over 15 square miles. The community extends from the southern edge of Downtown Nashville to the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere. South Nashville contains an array of diverse, established communities, including Wedgewood-Houston, Woodycrest, Woodbine, Hill-n-Dale, Radnor, Raymond Heights, Patricia Heights, Napier, Glencliff, Glencliff Estates, and Chestnut Hill.
The rental options are just as diverse as the region itself, with plenty of apartments, condos, townhomes, and houses available for rent in every style and budget. Residents often choose this area for its largely affordable rent prices and its central location. Commuting and traveling is simple with access to several major highways and Nashville International Airport.

Property Ratings at The Views of Music City Apartments
These apartments are really nice with new appliances . The studios are pretty cool and unique and for the location , it’s busy due to a school across the street but still very nice with Lennox village walking distance. Denise was amazing , she helped me move in as I was moving from another state. Being that I was not local she accommodated for everything I needed , even working on her day off so that I could move in on a Sunday. My neighbors are quiet and nice and I love that the inside is gated ( need key fob to even get in building). My only two cons are the parking is limited and feels like a competition to get a parking spot and lastly not enough space for dogs (but dog park is walking distance) . So far I am absolutely satisfied !
I LOVE my apartment. It’s very spacious and I feel like it’s very designed. While the apartments themselves are great- there a few things to be aware of. The parking lot itself is pretty well lit, but the parking spaces are small and limited. There are charging stations for electric vehicles but they’re always occupied by non-electric cars which is frustrating. The gate system is kind of a nightmare- especially if you have weekly subscriptions (I.e. imperfect foods, chewy, etc.). Basically if you can’t get to your phone to answer the gate call your package either gets left outside or isn’t delivered because the delivery drivers can’t get into the gate. They can deliver it to Fetch, but Fetch is notorious for not delivering packages on time or cancelling your delivery all together. The breezeways are also always dirty and filled with trash cans and bags sitting outside on non-pick up days. Overall, the location and the apartment homes are great but there is a lot of improvement that needs to happen for this place to be 4 or 5 star worthy.
1–No amenities, no pool, & no residents lounge. 2–Very limited parking & parking spots are much too small for even the smallest of cars (my car has already been damaged twice by others, due to lack of space in the parking lot). 3–The security door was broken for over a month without repair (thereby making the building unsafe & accessible to anyone). 4–The hallways are filthy & have bugs (they literally use a leaf blower to push the dirt into the units, rather than actually clean the floors or spray for bugs). 5–Our water bill is always GROSSLY overcharged by multiple times (3 times more) for what it should be despite very modest usage. Never had such insanely high water bills like this before moving here. 6–Their valet trash is inconsistent & very late (sometimes doesn’t pick up at all, & when do they do pick up it’s at 4 am), yet we are fined for what time we bring our bins back inside (despite paying for this service, which we cannot opt out of). 7–Their fetch delivery service never works (they either lose packages or deliver them a week too late; again we pay for this too, but cannot opt out of it either). 8–People smoke, including illegal substances, inside the building which directly gets into other tenants units & affects others health. 9–Certain tenants deliberately cause horrendous noise 24 hours a day (esp at night) for several months on end with no ultimate consequence, consistently disrupting the health, well being, safety, & sanity of everyone around them, in addition to violating city noise ordinances & lease terms. 10–Almost impossible to get in touch with anyone locally in a timely manner for needed assistance, even when it involves an urgent repair for AC issues. (You basically beg for weeks to get it done, and even then you have to ask so many times it’s truly absurd.) In conclusion, the maintenance technician & regional manager are nice, but the local manager makes things unnecessarily difficult, and they’re who you actually have to deal with to get help or answers to anything. It’s almost impossible to reach a resolution to anything when you can’t even get a timely, respectful, or thorough response. Interesting to note too that everyone I’ve met here feels the same way, we all want swift & peaceful resolutions to the aforementioned issues.
The staff are all great. Location, price, availability. I would like some additional amenities though.
Issues undoubtedly arise in complex communities like these, and the staff was prompt and courteous in addressing the issues that have come up. Thank you!
