Property Ratings at Views of Naperville
Terrible experience with management. They are not interested in running a well-managed, well maintained, nor a safe property. Save yourself a major headache and look elsewhere.
Stay as far away as possible from here. I moved in the end of April. I have had someone elses dryer venting through my dryer. I have reported 5 times total Three times Maintenance came and cleaned out my vent with no resolution. The 4th time I was told that the property manager and maintenance would be there on June 8th. I took the day off from work and NO ONE showed up. I called the office that afternoon late in the day and was told that they would not be coming that day. I was instructed that they would be here on June 9th at 4pm NO ONE showed up again. I called the office twice and get sent to voicemail And no one has returned my cal as of today. I also have black stuff shooting out of my air conditioner every time I turn it on. I have requested maintenance to look at this issue as well. I was told that they came once but furniture was in the way and I needed to move it. I DID and on June the 9th they would be there NO ONE SHOWED! When visiting the property before renting, I was told that there was a security system at the door. That guests would have to look up my name and buzz the number associated with my name so I could let them in. Later, after move in , I was told that yes they have this system but that they did not know how to work it. SO therefore they gave me a code that I was to give my guests. My guests could punch this into system and door would open for them. This code after given once to a guests can now be used over and over again to get it. NO security here Expample: I can home one day and found a man curled up in a ball on the hall floor. I called the front office and later the front office told me that the main did not have a key to his girlfriends apt so he cured up on the floor iin front of her door and took a nap. NOT SECURE HERE
The only good parts about this place is that they maintain lawn care, they are fairly pet friendly, and they have a pool, but that’s about it. The new management is even worse than the only one. Pool is disgusting, clubhouse equipment is torn up and dirty, pet owners don’t pick up after their dogs, and that’s just the beginning of it. There was mold and rust in multiple places in my unit and the new management refused to fix the problem because “mold doesn’t cause health issues”. The unit was absolutely FILTHY when we moved in but they charge a cleaning fee if you don’t clean before you move out! There was mold in my AC unit when we moved in and it took them almost a week to replace it, even though it was 90°+ outside. Our neighbors are chain smokers and the smell seeps into our unit and management doesn’t do anything about it. Neighbors are loud at all hours of the day and night and management won’t say anything about that either. If you can avoid living here, please save yourself the trouble. I’m so glad I just moved out and that my lease is almost up!
This apartment complex is a waste of money. The old management company was bad and the new one is even worse believe it or not. The windows have mold growing EVERYWHERE and water drips down the walls since the windows are so old. Maintenance does NOTHING to help and the management office is a waste of time to try and get help from as well. Multiple promises have been broken as far as getting calls back from the property manager or maintenance coming over and they don’t show up or follow up. I will not waste another dime after my current lease is up so long as F&F Realty is the management company.
My overall experience living at the views has been wonderful and feels like home, but the staff by the name of Sherry has been a huge factor in why my experience has been so good, professionalism and competence to make sure all my worries and needs are met and even goes above my expectations. Again my overall experience has been great and very pleasant.
Me gusta mucho vivir aquí son muy eficientes y amables los edificios los mantienen limpios
Overall the Views is a place that feels like home and has great views from my window, and I enjoy living here.
I like living at the views and would recommend it to friends and family, the office staffs are great and wonderful.
Beautiful place to live and the view is very nice from my floor. I would recommend and have recommended the views of Naperville to friends and coworkers.
Work orders to fix things in apartment are always done completely on the first visit, and quickly!
Professionalism as a whole. Money only matters here, and even if you pay on time, you still may not be treated with dignity and respect. Community is nice and quiet.
Overall I am satisfied and happy with the views of Naperville. I would be happier if the hot water is fixed.
It is a great looking community. The leasing staff and maintenance have been easy to work with. Its unfortunate that during times like these, COVID19 when a lot of residents are taking reductions in hours or laid off that the need to still pay at our signed monthly rate is being enforced. I believe more should be done to get the ammentities going. IE pool and gym and some accountability for parcel delivery. I have recieve 3 packages at my door and someone else's package at my parcel concierge.
The units are nice but the maintenance are unable to be honest and professional about their work. They lie to the leasing office about what has been completed and what needs to be completed.
The neighbors are noisy and the dogs are allowed to bark day and night. The dog below us never goes for a walk but does his "business" on the balcony. In the summer, it stinks when you try to sit out on the balcony above this dog. When you have to call daily to get your appliances fixed, it gets to be too much! I am really tired of all the time I have to waste calling maintenance, then the office to see why things are not fixed. Not a good place to live.
Very comfortable place to live, Community oriented, neighbors are nice.
Great place! Quiet and safe.
I've lived here for about five months after abruptly moving out of my previous apartment after a terrible experience (tl;dr - don't move into the Lisle Station Apartments), and I couldn't be happier living here. I live in an un-renovated unit which is by no means fancy, but it's exactly what I need for the right price in my mid-twenties. It's super spacious for a one bedroom, it's located in a convenient location, and it's mindblowingly affordable for Naperville if you move at the right time. The staff is very friendly and answers any questions you have fairly quickly via email and super quickly in person or via phone, and maintenance responds to requests quickly/thoroughly. Closets are crazy spacious and I love that there's a wood-burning fireplace as well. My only real complaints are that there's no recycling and that there are dog breed restrictions. However, you can bring your recycling to the Naperville Recycling Drop-off Center that's a few minutes away and there are breed restrictions at most apartment buildings so those aren't deal breakers. I would advise the staff to let residents know about the recycling option, but otherwise I'm very happy here!
They have now lost 4 packages. First, I had a package stolen from the mail room. When I asked if they would put cameras in they said "No, but we offer to hold packages for you." After losing my 3rd package that they "would hold for me." I've had enough. They say they will email you when a package comes, that's a lie don't trust them. It's absolutely miserable to deal with them when you actually have an issue and they take zero responsibility. Same goes for the maintenance crew. Had issues with multiple items in the apartments. They look at it. Hit something once for a temporary fix and call it a day. You get what you pay for here. Cheaper prices equal cheaper front office.
The apartment managements are not honest and they give false promises on amenities while you rent the apartment. The place is totally unclean and the hallways stink. The laundry is a complete mess. You will loose your clothes very often. Half of the machines do not work. The swim pool in never clean and much crowded. Better for the price look for a different one.
I lived in the now "Views of Naperville" for three years. During that time I had a wonderful experience. The management worked very hard and consistent to ensure that I had a very good experience. Furthermore they worked with me and partnered through challenging issues. Often, I came across neighbors that wanted and expected perfection- I had to smile and simply think that there must be significant frustration in their life. I found the grounds well kept, the staff worked VERY hard to take care of the day in and day out maintenance of the facility with great personal pride in their work. My requests were met with professionalism, dignity, and care. I would feel comfortable recommending "The Views of Naperville" and wish my old community well. Thank you for three years of quality hard work and smiles! David Alstadt
These newly renovated buildings have wonderful views, upgraded swimming pools and exercise equipment. It is located minutes from downtown Naperville, access to public transportation, Metra trains and shopping malls. The leasing office offer dry cleaning pickup and drop off, package deliveries and weekly exercise classes. If you are looking to located soon check out The Views of Naperville, they are currently offering referral bonuses.
This complex is under new management. The new owners are making improvements which is nice, but when they do things like repave the parking lot, or turn the water off, they give the current residents very little warning. It is one of the only complexes in the area that allows larger dogs up to 100lbs but the breed restriction list is ridiculously long. However it is not enforced as there are several people with pit bulls. The complex was built in the 80's and if you live in a unit that hasn't been renovated, you can definitely tell. The new management also will not fix any issues without countless follow ups. They are unorganized and only focused on selling the new renovated units at higher rent costs. So while I enjoy being in Naperville and paying less than most other complexes in the area, and having my two larger dogs, there are downsides to living here. I guess you get what you pay for.
I live at the Views of Naperville, located 10 min. from downtown Naperville and the metra station. I like living here because it is close to the bars and restaurants of downtown. My roomie and I share a two bedroom apartment here on the third floor. It has a private entrance and a spacious balcony surrounded by trees that provide a modicum of privacy when the curtains are open. I have not had many complaints living here, bugs are an issue occasionally but that is about it. The service on our apartment, when requested is acted upon quickly and efficiently. We have had our washer and dryer looked at, but there was nothing so wrong it couldn't be fixed within 15 min. and that is all that has gone wrong. Recent renovations to the pool area and gym have definately improved the quality of life for everyone here. It is beautiful, the staff and clubhouse are top notch and for the most part very helpful, especially Christian, one of the managers. He has helped me a few times with my parking passes and it was so hassle free I was amazed at the ease of which I was granted an additional free pass for my work vehicle! I would definately recommend this spot to a friend looking for an apartment.
