Property Ratings at The Village at Brierfield Apartment Homes
This is an excellent apartment complex. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had been looking for a place for six months and moved in in six days. I’m glad I didn’t listen to some of the reviews stated online, otherwise I would have missed an opportunity for an excellent apartment. I encourage you to see for yourself what an excellent place to live. I’ve never been happier to find a great place to live.
Property Manager at The Village at Brierfield Apartment Homes, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your 5 star review! We appreciate being the opportunity to serve you.
Outside landscaping, the property is mostly quiet which was important to me as a person that works odd hours. No issues with law enforcement outside one of their waiting spots at the end of the road. Convenient to all shopping essentials within 5 mins or less, and rents are more than fair for the value. Office staff are exceptionally helpful and empathetic to issues. Maintenance takes great care of the property. Currently about to sign my third lease here. Highly recommend.
Do not move here unless there is no other option. While the location seems nice and secluded and the apartments are decent, the management is horrible. The you call the office for an issue, they do not respond for weeks. Email gives the same lack of response. Contacting the management company, Westdale, is impossible as they will not give out emails and the phone number goes to voicemail that is not returned. The safety of residents is of no matter to them. Parking is by permit, however there is constantly people without permits parked taking up all the spots for residents forcing residents to park on the unlit road and walk in a dimly lit area to there apartment or be towed. The police are here at least twice a week. I have lived here for a few years and very much enjoyed it, but with the new management team, I can not get out of here fast enough.
I have lived here for 2 years. The staff sucks. They always have an attitude when there's an issue & never follow back up if they're supposed to do something or find out more information then get back to you. My rent has increased drastically but the amenities aren't any better than they were when I first moved and this is outside the inner city if Charlotte. This will be my last year here. If they didn't take so long to let me know what my rent would be to renew my lease I would've moved somewhere else. Car breakins are bad. Someone just had all 4 tires stolen off their vehicle among 4 other car break ins. Don't move here, you'll regret it.
My family and I were looking for a place. The community manager, Jessica, was very helpful and courteous and patient. Unfortunately we couldn't move forward with moving here because they didn't have availability but I definitely would consider it in the future if the need arises again.
Been a resident here for about 3 years and it has not been the best experience. The apartments are old, and the appliances are cheap and old. There is hardly any closet space. The fitness center is the size of a closet and the equipment barely works. It's constantly mold that forms in the windows and bathrooms. The management has not been the best or most pleasant but I'll leave it at that. If you find something else do so. Don't recommend at all.
This is a great little complex on the outskirts of the University area. Friendly neighbors and great front office staff. A few college students in the are, but not overly loud. A perfect spot for most anyone.
I'm very excited to have found this listing. The community is located in a beautiful area, convenient to many amenities. I would love to live here and will work hard to move in as soon as possible!
I've been here for 3 years now and it's a good neighborhood and a great price for the area. The office is often doing events to bring the community together, which I enjoy having children. The biggest con to me is maintenance. They are at times lazy and complain when work orders are needing to be done. Overall I do love the area and plan to stay here till I purchase a home.
i hate this place i used to live here and I found rats in the kitchen and there were skaters everywere
