Property Ratings at The Village at Jones Falls
When I applied for these apartments it took about 3 days and within that three days Ms. Dian was sure to be in contact with me and let me know what was going with the process she even kept in touch with me while she was out of the office. While she was out I had found out I had gotten approved and decided hey let me just stop in really quickly. I was greeted quickly by Ms. Kweilin who was eager to help and assist me in Ms. Dian’s absence. Ms. Kweilin showed me a unit and I immediately said this is the one I want this one instead of the unit I originally applied for and without any hesitation she said you got it no problem. Ms.Kweilin even gave me a courtesy call telling me my options of the programs they offer. In my years of renting I have never had a property manager call me and tell me I HAVE OPTIONS and I really appreciated that. Although I can not move until Jan 2025 because of my current landlord situation I will definitely be back to claim my apartment here at The Village at Jones Falls. I appreciate you ladies so much for all your help and going above and beyond and I will see you all in Jan.

Run for the hills !!. Can’t wait until my lease is over . If you’re thinking about resigning or signing a lease please don’t .1 my toilet doesn’t flush properly, I’ve reported this issue over 4 times. 2. Mice/roaches will be your best neighbor, you can always count on them to bust through your walls at any time, I have multiple mice holes.3 people steal your packages.4 someone broke into my car. 5.noise. Walls are paper thin. 6 there are no security cameras around the property.7. Laundry Facility is gross and machines will take your money. 8.your tub will be painted on and they will charge you if it chips.9.$60 water bill 10. The office ladies are no help, I wanted to aware everyone in the complex that cars are being broken into, and they basically told me , they don’t have cameras and it’s not their problem. So if you do see this comment and you’re from the office please don’t try to reach out and “clear this up”. I’m over this place . Please do not move here!!.

Hi, thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We regret that you had a negative experience, and will use this as an opportunity to improve.
I've only been living here for 7 months and it is taking everything in me to stick it out through my year lease. To start, you're given a packet with dreams in it. Dreams of Orkin coming around to do routine mice/roach checks, dreams of emergency maintenance coming whenever you need it, and dreams of "effective" policies. These apartments are roach and mouse infested. Throughout my time staying here I can't even tell you how many large red roaches I've killed. I put in a request for someone to come and seal any and all holes in the apartment and they literally walked in looked at the floor said "I don't see any holes big enough for a mouse to get in." and left. They didn't look behind the oven, they didn't do a thorough search period. The neighbors are rude, and there's no true effective policy for noise complaints. Brown liquids drip from upstairs into my window sill often. I've written an e-mail to the leasing office regarding this matter, and nothing has been resolved. When my oven broke, I put in a request to have it come looked at, and my request was closed at 3:30 in the morning claiming that someone came to fix it & yet my oven is still not functional. There are large potholes all over the parking lot, and trash everywhere. There's loud parties in the parking lots at night, and nothing is ever done about it. I would not recommend anyone stay here. Not even for convenience, because that was the main reason I moved here, for convenience, and it is TRULY not worth any of your money. Keep looking. Best of Luck.

Hi there, we appreciate your honest review. We set a high standard for ourselves, so we are disappointed to hear that your experience with us was not a positive one.
I used to live here when it was coldspring apartments, they chnaged the name because of the crimes, drugs and etc in the area, its still the same nothing has changed, save your money, you can do better, you deserve it. Honestly the space is fine, but even if yoir home is clean you will have mice and some times bugs, but overall if it wasnt for the killings, drugs and some pest this would be a beautiful place.

Hi there thank you for taking the time to leave us your honest feedback.
Been here almost two years lease is up in February, don’t move here unless you like mice I spend so much money in mouse traps caught so many mice since I’ve been living here, now starting to see big roaches, this place have bugs I’ve never seen before. The mail boxes never been installed so everyone has access to your mail, the main front door is unlocked so anyone can come in the building. I was told when I first moved in we would have new locked doors and mail would be fix never happened, sliding glass door has never been on track so air comes through in winter, my tub is peeling so bad. Can’t wait until my lease is up

While we appreciate all feedback, we're very disappointed to read such a negative assessment of our community. Our team works diligently to give residents a comfortable and pleasant place to call home. We never want our residents to feel as if their concerns are not important to us and apologize that you may feel this way. Please stop by the office or give us a call at (410) 542-1212 so we can address your concerns as soon as possible. Thank you.
I am a current resident since moving here it has been nothing but misery. For starters they pushed my move in date not once but twice. They never tell you that on top of rent you will have a $85-90 water bill each money even if you’re barely home (myself and son are only home after 9pm weekdays and on the weekend) so make sure you factor that into your budget. Their windows and doors are old also, no proper insulation so get ready to pay upwards of $185 for BGE (again, I’m barely ever home most times the thermostat is on 70 in the winter) Oo and the lovely heat goes out every two weeks so have emergency Maintaince number ready. Their apartments are mice infested, the stoves are from 1992, mine has been broke for a month and a murder happen here a week ago, so welcome to Cold Spring Station!

Thank you for reaching out. Due to the sensitive nature of some of your concerns, we feel it would be best if we spoke with you directly in our office or over the phone at (410) 542-1212 when you are next available. Thank you. - Coldspring Station Apartments Team
I moved into my apartment about a year ago. I found it odd that they would not let me walk the apt before I moved in but I needed something right away. I gave them two stars because the price is not bad. Once I moved in there were many items not fixed by maintenance (and still aren't fixed) during the winter my heat went out and it took them two weeks to get to it even though I called and emailed on multiple occasions. There is a huge pest problem between roaches and mice. They have an exterminator that comes on Monday's but what ever he uses doesn't work well. The office lost my house key twice and my mailbox key which is very concerning. The neighborhood is very loud. I do not plan on staying once my lease is up. I will say the management staff is a lot nicer now but it is still a mission to get things accomplished.
