Property Ratings at Century Lakeshore Crossings
My Fiancé has filed multiple complaints about gnats in her apartment and has also expressed concerns about the floor boards and wall separating for months. The complex did send a maintenance worker out to inspect however nothing was ever truly addressed. Now water has flooded the entire living room and master bedroom. This flooding has taken place for 2 days and after multiple emails no one from the front office has had the decency to respond back to the email or pickup the phone to say "sorry, we're working on the issue". Poor customer service to say the least, but a total disregard for the inhabitable condition that my fiancé is living in.

Hi, James, we have spoken with Miss Mack on multiple different occasions and have emailed you back twice as well. Each service request has been handled by our Maintenance Team, Contractor or Pest Control company within 1 day! We want to speak directly with you about your 1-star rating. Please contact us at (205) 509-8665 or info@villageatlakeshore.com to discuss how we can improve your experience at Village at Lakeshore Crossings. Thank you in advance. Have a wonderful day
I have lived in The Village for 2 years, and just renewed my lease for another term. I chose this complex for the open floor plan, but moreover for the large kitchen and tremendous storage space. The added bonus has been the management team, they are top notch! They are very responsive to any issue. It’s a quiet neighborhood that’s convenient to most things.

Hi Pam, Thank you for staying at The Village at Lakeshore Crossings! We wanted to thank you for your 5 star review!
Modern and nicely appointed apartments inside and out; well maintained and very attentive to tenant requests; very safe gated community (especially for those who exercise good judgement and know not to leave their valuables in plain sight); solid value for the dollar; outstanding on site manager (very personal and responsive)!

Hi Yevette, Thank you for staying at The Village at Lakeshore Crossings! We wanted to thank you for your 5 star review!
I would never recommend anyone to live here at The Village at Lakeshore. This apartment complex is UNSAFE. There have been multiple car break-ins and reports of suspicious activity just within this past month. There is a gate at the entrance, but is is OPEN all of the time. The manager says they do not owe us security nor have the funds for any more security measures. The only advice we received was to “lock our cars” yet car windows are being busted. The manager here, Samirah, has one of the worst attitudes and has been one of the most disrespectful managers I have ever had to deal with. I am actively looking to break my lease. I cannot get out of here fast enough because I am scared to live here.
The new management will run this place into the ground.
Nice and quiet place to live. Very nice inside. Maintenance issues are resolved promptly. Very good for taking care of yearly inspections and updates. Nice wooden lamenant floors, however doesn’t absorb noise for that reason. Top floor apartments suggested if you don’t mind walking up stairs. I have lived here for two years and have resigned my lease for another year.
Been living here since December,2017! No complaints so far! Maintenence request is done on time, management is responsive! The community is pretty quite! Apartment layout is the best part. Only 1 issue is walls are pretty thin so sometimes you can hear the noise from outside.
Dog feces every step!! NOISY nights that lead to sleepless nights. Very unresponsive management team. Nasty attitudes. PM rolls her eyes to your issues. Hidden crime. Bikes are stolen often. Cars are broken into. A Lady was robbed. STAY AWAY!!!! There are PLENTY more responsive safe economical alternatives around the city. BEWARE!!
These apartments are great for the new professionals, graduate students, and young families. They provide a quiet yet interactive atmosphere. The apartments themselves have everything you could need. Very spacious and brand new. I get compliments on my apartment anytime I have guests. Definitely somewhere you should consider if you want to get away from the traffic and noise of downtown.
I've been living here now right at 7 months, and I can honestly say I have no complaints! It's clean and quiet- and my apartment is perfect. The layout flows nicely and I never have any issues getting things fix in a timely manner. I barely hear my neighbors, and the amenities are endless! The best part about my apartment would be the pool and gym area! If your looking for a Stylish pad to call home that won't break the bank, that's near shopping, and pet friendly don't hesitate to check out The Village At Lakeshore Crossing! You'll be happy you did ;-)
Spacious, with simulated wood vinyl floors. Modern kitchen. Staff is super friendly and helpful and maintenance team is efficient and courteous. Been here a year and plan to stay for a while. Convenient to downtown Birmingham and lots of shopping and dining
