Property Ratings at Village at Mayfield
To quote a previous reviewer, "The office staffs, service technicians are all very friendly, good and responsive. Only problem is management doesn’t have any intention to return your initial deposit in the name of normal wear and tear, doesn’t matter how many years you live there. Also they will take additional amount from you, be careful." Parking lot was a total nightmare, especially in the winter when plowing wouldnt show up until after working hours. Laundry is also a nightmare, the washing machine would leak and stop working. Maintenance would sometimes take a week, despite suggestions from residents for better washing machines. The building in general had faults, such as leaking on the walls. My neighbor said that instead of fixing the leak, they offered to paint over it. The overall mesaage of this place, like most apartments unfortunately is: the only money that matters is the money you owe to them. Sure, raise rent an extra $200 for resisents. Force residents to move out after years of tenancy. Upgrade the place with charging stations for teslas. Just a message to the landlord: i hope you are happy. I hope your glad that you make peoples' homes into money-making business, scraping every ounce of money hard working people earn, so you can sit and watch. You're a leech.
Property Manager at Village at Mayfield, Responded To This Review
Erin It is unfortunate when we receive this type of feedback after someone moves out and we don't have the opportunity to correct the issues. Customer Service and Quality are important to the management team and ownership. It is unusual to receive complaints like this. We will use your feedback to continue to make The Village at Mayfield a great community.
Staff at the leasing office is not helpful at all, and seems to go out of their way to avoid contact with residents. Maintenance crew is/appears to be hard-working and responsive, but not very knowledgeable in standard repairs, sometimes having to return up to 3 times to correct a simple issue. Paid parking is available, but never enforced by the management team, so it is very common to find another car parked in the spot you have paid for. Whenever this is addressed to the staff, they refuse to take action and correct the situation.
Moved here 3 weeks ago. Was not permitted to see unit until the day I signed lease/moved in. Was told it had patio/new carpet- it has neither. Residents smoke in the common areas. Refused to move me to another unit due to my documented smoke allergy. My unit & unit across the hall has roaches. I have been bitten by them twice. I have taken pictures of the roaches/bites. Leasing office told myself & other residents that I am lying and there are no roaches in the building. Also told me that pictures of roaches shown to them were not taken at their property. To prove that they were, I took 2 videos of the roach and in the same video, walked outside to the front of the building to show that it is in fact their building. Leasing staff/maintenance team has told residents that I am complaining about smoke smell. Spare yourself from slander and the most unwilling and rude staff that I've ever worked with.
Our experience since moving here has been positive. Nice units, nice grounds and great staff.
The Village at Mayfield is a place that's unexpected! I've lived here with my husband, in this quaint setting, for five years. It has it's own sidewalk, within its property, to get you to convenient shopping or activities at the clubhouse if you decide to walk and enjoy the pretty scenery. At the clubhouse not only is there a relaxing place outside with a pool but, a hot tub too! And a racket ball court as well as a total fitness center along with a place to freshen up! The upbeat leasing staff put on seasonal parties that are Awesome!! with a cozy fire place! The maintenance staff is top notch! A real community some of us with pets. It's a little oasis. A gem here in Mayfield Village!
We have been living in this apartment for last 5 years and every time we called for service , the help was right away within an hour. They even replaced our light bulbs , blinds multiple times. Our apartment is very near to everything in prime location yet we never had any parking problem even when they are repairing the garage. During snow by the time we go out at 7:30 am our walkways already cleaned and salted. Even though apartments are kind of old but service is very good and we havent seen any better apartments near by. Aparna 6622 building apt # 103
As a resident over 6 years, I can say that I am still very happy here. Great apartment, very spacious, love our location and we can't say enough good things about the staff; from office to maintenance staff, always very professional and quick to attend. I have noticed in the past few years that some of our newer tenants (or perhaps guests of tenants) have been not cleaning up after themselves, leaving trash in the parking lots.
The village is by far one of the best places I've lived. The staff is efficient n helpful, they clean up the hallways at least weekly n the landscape is well maintained. the residents are also friendly.
Atmosphere is serene, it's within walking distance to any important restaurant or store, pool area is like being on a resort, maintenance staff/office staff is impeccable, and it offers us a workout area with raquetball if we choose to use it. We are elderly and my wife has dementia and anytime we need help whether it be to fix a toilet or change a lightbulb they are there within minutes to address the problem and it is always fixed. For an apartment building I can't get over how quiet it is in the building. I can't say enough about Village of Mayfield and would recommend this place to anyone.
I have lived at the Village at Mayfield for nearly 6 years, and can truly say that it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. The entire staff, including the Maintenance staff, do everything to ensure that we residents are their top priority. The grounds are beautiful and well-manicured, if we have any maintenance issues they are dealt with quickly by the friendly and courteous maintenance staff. I had some hesitance about what apartment living would be like compared to being a homeowner for 32 years. My concerns were put to rest within my first week of living here. I looked at many apartment complexes before deciding on The Village at Mayfield, but my choice was easy after I met with the leasing staff and saw the model suite. I have been very happy here, and am sure that this will be my home for many more years.
Great place to live, like living in the forest while in the middle of a great suburb, beautiful trees, flowering plants and shrubs abound! Maintenance is phenomenal and rental office is immediately responsive. The apartments are spacious and pets are permitted in an area of units set aside for pet owners. They even supply bags for disposal of pet waste Outdoor pool, gym, and racket ball areas are delightful. There is a party room available for residents that is amazing. I love my experience at Villages of Mayfield and would recommend it enthusiastically!
Green space and mature trees, walking paths, and hidden gardens … spotlessly maintained two-story brick colonials … friendly neighbors (true!) … covered parking (a must in NE Ohio!) … and affordable rent. Add to all of that a splendidly landscaped, sparkling-clean pool area with hot tub and fountains, a community building with an insanely clean workout room, a comfortable party area, and a racquetball court that is consistently filled with people rediscovering that lively sport, and you’ll see why The Village at Mayfield is like a Utopia From Another Time. The staff is courteous, friendly, and responsive, and the maintenance staff lives on site, so you know and trust them. My apartment is surprisingly quiet, thanks to the all-concrete construction of the walls and floors. I’ve never seen a pest and never had a problem with anything that wasn’t addressed quickly and effectively. Not a luxury apartment, but solidly comfortable, sunny, and clean. This gem is tucked away in a perfect east-side location, convenient to high-quality shopping and commuter routes, but is quiet, safe, and gracious in a way that is completely unexpected in today’s high-pressure, impersonal rental environment. It’s not easy to find a three-bedroom apartment in a nice location. I visited every apartment complex on the east side before I toured The Village at Mayfield, and it only took me five minutes before I said, “I’m home!”
I am a new renter coming from owning my own home. I found the girls in the office and the maintenance crew at the Village at Mayfield, making my transition from owner to renter very smooth. The experience has been fabulous . I would and I have recommended the Village at Mayfield to anyone who is looking for an easy change to one's life....from owner to renter.
We moved to Village at Mayfield two years ago from our six room house. It was the best move we could have made. My husband and I were both retired and needed to be maintenance free and on one floor. Then location was the first draw as it is convenient to everything we needed to live our lives comfortably. After moving in we found the apartment more accommodating than our older home was. The staff is always available and friendly. The maintenance is superior. My husband passed recently and I plan to stay here because I am very comfortable and feel completely safe. This will be my home for the rest of my life!
We love, love, love “the Village”. Why, well I’ll tell you. The staff; the office workers to the maintenance crew are wonderful, courteous and professional. They go out of their way to assist you. I was once carrying a heavy box up to my second floor apartment and one of the maintenance workers offered his assistance without me even having to ask! The grounds are well maintained, beautiful, serene and peaceful. The trees and flowers are a park-like setting right out the front door. I love having my coffee in the morning watching and listening to Mother Nature. Location! What could be better? If I need to go grocery shopping I literally can walk across the street. There are many restaurants and shopping centers all within a 10 minute radius. The neighborhood and local schools are excellent. This probably is the reason why this area sought after. Amenities; they offer everything you need and more. Whether it is the 24 hour workout room, racquetball court, pool, hot tub or the playgrounds; what excuse do I have not to work out or get outside? Back to that pool, want to feel like you are at a resort? Well, just stop by and see. The only thing missing is a waiter to take your drink orders! All this and then they throw the most awesome parties: Christmas, St. Paddy’s Day, at the Pool and more. Fun! Fun! Oh and the actual apartments, nearly forgot! I can’t say enough about the design of the apartments. They have separate buildings with only a few units per so, you feel more like you are living in a condo. Cats and dogs allowed in some buildings, others not. Perfect for whatever your preference is. When you walk into the unit you enter into a hallway and not traipse through your living space with dirty shoes…love that! The baths are off another hall instead of right next to the kitchen like other places (ugh). Bedrooms are off the center hall and offer ample space of both the room and closets. Ours even has a separate den (or in our case an extra storage room). The designs are very well thought out and there are different sizes and price ranges to accommodate everyone. Our life in the Village at Mayfield Apartments has been great. We have peace of mind knowing the buildings and grounds are well taken care of. We are surrounded by beauty, convenience and nice people. We can’t ask for anything more …except for maybe that waiter at the pool!!! To my husband and I this place is a slice of heaven and we can’t see wanting to ever move from
I first saw this apartment complex in 1972 when I moved from New York to Cleveland. At that time I had a young daughter that needed lots of friends to play with and the.complex had none so I found somewhere else. But as the years went by I could not help but think about this complex. Eight years ago my husband and I downsized I immediately went to the village of mayfield . It was as I remembered. Large areas for my grandchildren to run and June bugs to catch in the summer. In the fall the colorful trees are in my backyard. Winter means snowmen and happy days as the wonderful staff takes care of the sidewalk and driveway assuring that I can come and go safely. The summer means lazy days at the pool ,while enjoying parties given by the staff. Of course the clubhouse was perfect when my daughter had her bridal shower. When things go wrong a mere phone call brings someone before I can even hang up the phone. I am proud to invite friends and family to my spacious apartment and love to entertain on my patio. This is my home and I would not want to live anywhere else.
Love the fact that Mayfield Village is convenient to everything yet set apart. The building I live in particular is set back and up on a hill facing beautiful homes right off a cul de sac. It's quiet and peaceful. Everything here is well maintained and my neighbors are friendly and helpful. It's definitely a Joy to come home to after a busy day of work or place.
I've been very pleased with the property and services received. My building is very quiet and everyone that I have encountered seems very friendly. My suite was well kept and for the most part clean. Kitchen could probably use a little updating, but it functions and has space for extra storage.
Apartments are spacious and reasonably priced. Great amenities. The staff is easy to get a hold of and handles issues fast and professionally.
The Mayfield Apartments are by far the coziest apartments in the area. First of all, the complex is nestled in the woods and just about every apartment has lush views of giant green trees, lush grasses or beautiful landscaping. We are on the second floor overlooking trees outside every window! For us, the space is like being in our own private tree house. There are pathways all throughout the property as well as seating areas and a pool which is open for an extended summer period (we have kids so we especially love this). Even the pool area is lushly landscaped and includes a changing room and locker areas. As far as the apartment itself, it's quite neutral (beige walls and carpet) and very clean. The space is quite large and the rooms are huge! We have 2 bedrooms and a den and we use the den for our son's room- there is plenty of space. The kitchen, although functional & compact, has a terrible cupboard layout and the old cupboards make most of the space awkward or unusable. (small cupboards that you can't even place a box upright in- not a good plan) The counter space is also minimal. We do, however, have food disposals. Our building is pretty quiet and we cannot hear the comings and goings of our neighbors. The location could not be more perfect either. We are walking distance to a lovely Heinen's grocery store (2 minute walk) and Target, Michaels, Chipotle are just a short 5-10 minute walk in the opposite direction. The parking lot can become full or quite packed if you come in after 8 p.m., which is irritating but I am rarely affected by it. When that happens, you have to park in another lot which may not be near your building. The staff is friendly but I wouldn't say the customer is ever right. :( For me, this is the biggest negative of living here.
All I can say is wow. The village of Mayfield is perfect for anyone looking to move in Northeast ohio. I recently moved from a house and moving to the Village of Mayfield was an upgrade. 2 spacious bedrooms 2 full baths and even a den for a great price. They are a must see!! And my son is now in a top rated school system. They can't be beat!!
Moving to a new city and going from a house to an apartment was a major change for our family. We were welcomed into this community and quickly made new friends with other residents and the staff. The property is well maintained and has plenty of walking space and trees. The guest clubhouse offers many great amenities including a racquetball court, workout area and, seasonally, a pool and hot tub. It is located near several restaurants. grocery stores, movie theatre etc. The best part is that it is located just off the interstate and you can be downtown in less than 20 minutes. Located on the bus line it also provides access to mass transit. You get the benefits of living in the city while living in a suburb. The apartments themselves are nice with closet space in each room. The entrance doors are secured which is a nice feature. The apartments are well maintained and maintenance issues when they arise are handled quickly. The staff is friendly and very easy to work with. We are very pleased with our choice and have been happy to live here for the past several years!
The property landscaping and location are very nice. These apartments are within a 10 minute drive of everything you would every need. Within a 5 minute drive of most things you need. However, the apartments are poorly maintained. The carpeting in my apartment looks like it hasn't been replaced in 15 years. All of the kitchen drawers and cabinets are made of particle board which has absorbed everything every previous owner has ever put on them. We have had some issues with bugs and several other frustrating experiences with maintenance/management. So overall, I have been very frustrated with the way problems are handled here. I would enjoy living here much more if my apartment functioned as promised. I was worried about the poor reviews I had read about this apartment and so far, I cant necessarily disagree with them.
I have lived here for 12 years - huge apartments , 2 full baths - I have a 2 bedroom with den on second floor at present. The location is fantastic - near freeway and dozens of restaurants and every kind of shopping. Only problem is that the kitchens and bathrooms really need updating for the rent we pay - and more care in parking lots and driveways. This development is in a parklike setting - so we do have an outside walk to garages and parking - so better care is needed. We do love the amenities - pool, exercise room, racketball court, parties . It is a great place to live!!! Maxine B, Mayfield Village, Ohio
I have been residing here for 18 years, after retirement. When looking in the area for an apartment, I wanted one that was quiet and easily accessible. The property consists of 31 apartment buildings, each with eight apartments, four on each of two floors. There is also a centrally located Clubhouse, which also houses the office. The property is well maintained, shrubs and grass taken care of weekly. In winter, snow removal is done on a regular basis with walks cleared at least once daily or more if needed. Individual apartment mantenance is taken care of quickly and to perfection by knowledgeable and caring personnel. The office staff are personable and attentive to the needs of the residents. There are a number of events that are provided annually such as, a pool party in the summer, a pizza party in the fall, St. Patrick's Day dinner near the date, and random get togethers. The property is next to a large grocery store and near other necessities such as drug store, gas station, restaurants, municipal complex, and walking paths leading to the large park. Very convenient with an easy access in and out with the help of a signal light at the end of the street. Off street parking is provided in various parking lots on the property which are the rooftops of the underground garages. Overall it is a very quiet location in spite being a stone's throw from a major freeway. Neighbors are quiet, personable and keep to themselves. We try to help by calling any problems to the attention of the office, and making suggestions where appropriate, which are always welcome. I consider myself fortunate to live here and plan to continue to do so until I can no longer take care of myself. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for apartment living.
My boyfriend and I moved into the Village in July. We were very excited, because this is our first apartment. When looking at the model, it was very dated, but it was nice to be able to get an idea of what the apartments look like and to have an idea of layout. That helped A LOT when trying to figure out furniture before moving. When we signed our lease, the staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions.... But since moving in, it is like pulling teeth to get someone to respond to your email or call you back. I have called multiple times in the past few weeks to get someone to look at our screen door on our balcony, but nothing has been done about it. They have a rude attitude and it is almost like we are bothering them when we have questions, comments, or concerns. Overall, the apartment we have is great. It is much larger than the one we viewed in the model, (because we do have a large den), there is a TON of storage and closet space, the scenery outside is nice and great to look at, lots of trees, quiet neighborhood, bathrooms are large and functional with storage, master bedroom is large and functional, the second bedroom is a good size, the living room and dining room are very open concept, and the security of the building is great with the locked entrance door that only residents have the key to, as well as main units being secured with locks. The mail area is always kept clean and it is functional for its purpose. Laundry is a bit of a downfall that it is not in each unit, but there is one washer and one dryer located on the main floor (a bit of a pain to carry up and down but its not awful). The only bug issue that we have been dealing with are spiders in the apartment. This was a major issue for a while, but since the exterminator has been out it has gotten better.
When we found the "Village at Mayfield" Apartments, we got really excited. The buildings are not new, but they were well built, and are quite large and easy to live in. Ours has 2 sizable bedrooms, and 2 full bathrooms, and each bedroom has large closets.. Our living room is very roomy. Along with the dining room and kitchen, we also have a small den. These apartments are only 2 story, with 4 suites on each floor, and a laundry on the first. There are also garages in each area of the property, as well as parking space outside, which are close by. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is pleasant and cheerful. The service people answer questions, and solve problems promptly when contacted. Our Office, clubhouse, pool area are beautiful and fully available to the residents. This community is also excellent. We have a new Library, large public pool, Cleveland Metro Parks, shopping, movies, and highways which will take you uptown, downtown and around town with little or no trouble. We couldn't be happier!!
At the age of 54 i found myself getting a divorce after 4 children and 26 years of marriage . So as my children would say I put on my big girl pants and tried to make a plan for my new beginning. After listing my 3500 sq ft home in concord I began to search for an apartment that would accommodate my 10 year old Shih Tzu , my 20 year old daughter, and myself. It also would need to be spacious enough for my furniture . To make it even harder I wanted it to be in a very safe area . I have a few friends in law enforcement and we went over some of the places I found . I setup a tour of THe Village at. Mayfield . The three bedroom unit was going to be available in the pet friendly bldg. The tour proved to be a very lucky day for me. I could not believe how much storage this unit had. The many closets were huge. It also would be only 13 min to my older daughters home in chesterland, only a few miles to I 271 but it was also very close to 90 and rt 2. I take care of my 84 year old mother on the west side so after I got the thumbs up from friends on the police force I signed my lease. I picked the biggest down pour for moving day! But after that I have to say I LOVE It too Here!!! I am close to everything. All the other residents are very friendly and I feel very safe even at night when I am out walking my dog! I would love to win free rent for life who wouldn't . It would be a great way to keep my new beginning on a really happy path. Thank you, Lynnette
Quiet, clean, safe, friendly staff, and neighbors. This is the perfect place for families or singles. I love it here!
I am a semi-retired senior and the owners and managers do everything they can to make living here a real pleasure. The office staff is very friendly. The company offers a FREE healthy work-out gym for residents and an indoor court for racketball.so you do not have to join a gym. It is FREE. They also have a nice outdoor pool for the summer. They have a party center. The maintenance crew is GREAT. Any time a guest has a problem, just call the office and it is fixed the same day. The crew shovels the snow in the wintertime to make it safe for residents. The location here is convenient to everything, grocery stores, banks, drug stores, etc. and even bus stops nearby. I LOVE it here.
This is home-like living but with the benefits of maintenance and support from a friendly, professional staff. The park-like setting with walking trails creates a residential feel. You get a lot of apartment space for your money. I can’t imagine living anywhere else!
A year ago I moved from a 4 bedroom home of 20 years where I had raised my family. The nest was empty. I relocated to a new side of town to be closer to work. The Village at Mayfield has exceeded all my expectations of apartment life. A quite, yet friendly atmosphere with residents of all ages. It is conveniently close to I-271 for easy access to all of Cleveland and within walking distance to the center of Mayfield Village. Amenities include a small gym, a beautiful pool area with hot tub, easy bike trail access to the library and the Chagrin Reservation of the MetroParks and an adjoining neighborhood to walk in. The apartments are very roomy and quiet. My utilities are reasonable and no wait for hot water! Every building has its own laundry room. The parklike grounds are well maintained year round and are safe and well lit. There is ample parking, both covered and uncovered. I've just signed my lease for year number two and I couldn't feel more at home!
Love how close it is to everything! Have no complaints. Been here for about 3 years! safe, clean with a great helpful staff in the office! Apartments are well sized and updated.
The Village at Mayfield offers very great apartments! We have had no complaints. When we first moved in, our AC had issues pumping out cold air, but maintenance came the following day, and we have not had any issues since. The grounds are awesome, and provide paved pathways that are great for an evening walk. Our only issue with the apartment is the size of the den. We have an apartment with a large den, but it was a lot smaller than we had anticipated, but it was not a huge deal. We wish we could have seen an apartment with a den prior to moving, but none were available to view.
I love it. My apartment is the perfect size for me and it is in the perfect location. Everyone is so nice and the neighborhood is great.
I love where my family lives. It's quite, well manicured green and attentive grounds and office staff. Great pool, rec room and fitness center too.
I have lived here since 2011 and found it to be an ideal setting. My apartment was clean had new carpet and paint when I moved in and everything was in good working condition. The company's service has also been exemplary. Shortly after moving in I had a problem with the stove and they immediately replaced it with a brand new stove and oven. They do a nice job keeping the grounds maintained and in the winter, are good at moving snow. Finally, this location is ideally suited for me. There is a gourmet grocery across the street, and other services nearby, ie shopping, dry cleaners, restaurants, and access to a great metroparks area. Freeway access is good. Thanks Village at Mayfield!
I have lived at the Village at Mayfield for a little over a year and love it!. My fiance and I have a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, small den apartment. Its nice having so much space and being able to accommodate our out of town family. We have tons of storage space as well. The maintenance crew is really great to work with and very quick at responding to the few call we have had. The pool and gym are kept in very good condition as well. This complex is located in a very convenient location and is close to grocery, restaurants, and the freeway. Overall, I would recommend these apartments to anyone looking in this area.
My now-fiance and I have lived at the Village at Mayfield for a year and a half now and love it. We have a 2 bedroom, 2 bath with a small den. These apartments are extremely spacious, have ample storage space, including a walk-in closet. There is plenty of natural sun-light as well and we even have a small balcony. Of the very few and minor maintenance issues we have had (I'm talking minor like a lightbulb burning out), the maintenance team was there with a day to fix. All of the staff couldn't be nicer and easier to work with. The common areas are always kept meticulously clean, including the clubhouse, gym, and pool. I had so much fun over the summer getting to know our neighbors and spending time at the pool. The Village also hosts numerous dinners and events for holidays throughout the year, which are always enjoyable. The complex is nestled right next to a quiet neighborhood, which is perfect because it gives everything a much more cozy feel versus a high-rise apartment building. It is also right down the street from Heinen's (literally walking distance) and super close to numerous shops and restaurants including Walmart and Costco. It is also near Hillcrest Hospital, which is nice should any emergencies happen and has very easy highway access. There is a wide variety of people who live at The Village at Mayfield from young to old and everyone I have met is very nice and respectful. I have never had an issue with any neighbors. Parking is also convenient with free uncovered spaces as well as covered garage spots for a minimal extra monthly fee. During the winter, the entire area is kept plowed and de-iced. I would highyl recommend these apartments to anyone looking in this area.
My family and I have lived here for 3 1/2 years and we have had a great experience. The apartments are very spacious, the residents are very friendly and the staff has always been extremely helpful. We have two young boys and there is plenty of room for them to run and play outside, and they love taking walks through the complex! The city park, library, metro parks, and plenty of family dining options are very close by, but you get the added bonus of being tucked away down a quiet side street.
I have lived here for 11 year! I love it from the first day and still! The location is amazing, from banks, drug stores> Bonus, right by the freeway! Most important, I always feel safe! The staff is always on hand and are right on top of everything! I should be there spoke person>Love it
We Love it Here! It is centrally located, close to everything we need. We've lived here for 15 yrs. so far. If we take care of the apartment, it takes care of us. The first sign of anything being amiss, we call maintenance and they come and repair, with a smile, within 24 hours. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The building lobby is kept sparkling clean and apartments' entrance has a security door. There's a heated pool, clubhouse and exercise room. MetroParks is down the street on SOM! Best of all, management here, is wonderful. Can't ask for anything more in feeling comfortable where we live.
The Village at Mayfield Apartments are by far the nicest apartments in the area. I have now lived there for 2 years and just signed for my 3rd year. When ever there is an issue the maintenance people are very prompt always, even on 4th of July weekend. The pool is amazing, my roommate and I frequent it all summer for the past 2 years. Our apartment is very spacious and private. The club house is very nice with bathrooms, gym and a party room that management throws pizza parties and ice cream socials for tenants, not to mention their summer pool party they throw every year. Highly recommend!
My husband and I have been living at The Village at Mayfield for a little over a year now. We initially chose these apartments because first, the space! We have a two bedroom, two full bath with a den, living room and dining room. We have ample closet space which is always a plus. We love that each building is only two floors with no more than eight units in each which helps you to really get to know your neighbors in this quiet community. Next, the location is awesome! We are right down the street (walking distance) from Heinens Grocery Store. We are also just a few minutes away from Eastgate and Golden Gate Shopping Centers, restaurants, gas stations, banks etc. not to mention we are very close to 271 and 90. We love the community, neighbors, top ranked schools, and more. The only negative we have found living here is the parking. The parking is open to tenants and guests so there have been times where we can't find a parking space in our lot and are forced to park further away. It seems to be worse in the Summer and later in the evening. There is an option to purchase a parking space for $30.00 a month, but we would rather save that money. Overall, this is a great place to live and I highly recommend it!
I have lived at The Village at Mayfield for over a year now and I am very pleased and impressed with this apartment! The rooms in my apartment are very spacious and the building is very clean and well maintained. The property management staff is extremely friendly and caring and readily available to assist. The apartment is located in a very beautiful, quiet, clean, and safe neighborhood. Garage parking is available and there is also an attractive clubhouse which offers several amenities including a pool. The apartment is also in close proximity to a variety of restaurants and places to shop. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone!
