Wonderful Apartment Community
I had an enjoyable stay at The Village Residences for the last two years. The property management team, especially Marissa, were extremely helpful in making my stay as comfortable as possible. There were a few challenges during my stay (which were not in control of the property management) and Marissa often went above and beyond in helping me resolve them as quickly as possible. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a convenient place to live within Mountain View, close to shopping, groceries, and a movie theater.

Great location. Grocery, restaurants, shopping all in walking distance and easy access to major highways. The staff are friendly and helpful. Property is well maintained and has good amenities especially the gym.

Bad Experience
- The smoke alarms in the building go off without cause at all times of night. This has happened more times than I can count. - The smoke alarm testing was a HORRIBLE hours long multi-day experience of hell while WFH - The management staff doesn't respond to complaints or inquiries. - They overcharged us for multiple months for a parking space we did not have. They were not helpful or nice when we worked to get it resolved. - One of my neighbors as literal TRASH (dog wee wee pads) on her balcony - One of my other neighbors smokes - Our only view is other people's apartments in a courtyard setting - The gardeners absolutely devastate the trees when they prune which damages wildlife habitats - The management sends emails out to all residents with the tone of admonishment rather than business-like appropriateness - Multiple times maintenance has come to our apartment or unlocked the door and attempted entry because the office had the wrong apartment number on a workoder - The pool usage is basically just screaming children and parents while we all try to WFH - External access doors from the stairwells can get stuck open which is a security risk
