Nestled alongside the Colorado River in southern Nevada, Laughlin is a unique small town sharing two of its boundaries with state borders—California is to the southwest and Arizona is to the east, just across the Colorado River. Laughlin offers a taste of Las Vegas on a budget, with plenty of riverfront casinos, hotels, and shops.
Away from the bustle of Casino Drive, Laughlin exudes a laidback atmosphere along with vast expanses of land and rugged mountain views. Laughlin also provides ample opportunities for year-round outdoor recreation, from hiking the historic Grapevine Canyon to all kinds of water-based activities on Lake Mohave and the Colorado River.
Laughlin touts a small-town sense of community, which is fostered by events like the Laughlin River Run, barbeque competitions, classic car shows, rodeos, and so much more. Commuting and traveling from Laughlin is easy with convenience to Highways 163, 95, and 68 as well as Laughlin-Bullhead International Airport.

My husband moved to the Villas three years ago from Colorado and is so happy living there. The manager is a wonderful person who is very accessible and responsive to any problems. The other renters are carefully screened so it is a real community, not just a place to live. There have been only two problems with the apartment in the last three years and both were fixed within 24 hours. The landscaping is meticulously maintained by a friendly worker who has been there quite some time and waves when he sees you. The pool guy is there every morning and keeps the pool pristine. Another lady comes regularly and tidies up the dog run areas. Pets are allowed but with some rules, of course, and have never been a problem. There are some individually owned and rented units in the complex and there have been problems arising with them since the on-site manager has no control over the privately owned units. All the units do have stairs and this can be a problem for some older residents. For now, my husband chooses to stay because of all the benefits of living here.
Management is unprofessional, likes to exert power and threaten to evict over minor disagreements.
