Property Ratings at The Villas of Costa Dorada
Love the staff. Rosie and Heather are so great. Never had any issues in the 6 years I lived there. ?
Where to start...First of all the apartments as in the actual one you live in are trash in themselves. Closet doors are constantly breaking and get stuck quite a lot. Windows are not secure and ants come in through them. The gates in the front of the apartments do not work with the code , which is inconvenient if you have guests. They either have to wait and go in with someone else or you have to walk to the gate and open it yourself. My two faucets in the bathroom are mix-matching?? There is constantly problems with the trash of people not putting it in the garbage so there is just tons of bags laying around 24/7. In the same area there is a field where anyone who gets in there can come into the complex with no problem , similar issues around the different fences. Now here's my biggest complaint which is what actually led to me writing this , they recently got rid of people being able to get a parking pass if they were a visitor. In a recent altercation my guest had parked in a non visitor spot ( there wasn't any visitor spots near our apartment , another problem ) , and i don't have a car either so there should be no problem with my guest parking. Their car was towed and now they're having to pay $300 to get their car back because these apartments just can't seem to get it together. Live literally anywhere else to have a better experience.
I had to move in really quickly due to a horrible home situation, and Rose was so helpful the whole time. The place is adorable and so well kept, and everyone is so friendly. Best apartment I've lived in thus far.
Wow, I lived here, 3 years ago. We lived here for 4 years. We loved it. Ok everything but the trash issues. Which is a problem EVERYWHERE!! We left just as there was a new gal in the office who was not Customer Service oriented. Her attitude was sour and it made life unhappy. But, that is EVERYWHERE! ?? As for our apartment. The maintenance was always on the spot and kept well managed and in tip top shape. We never let anything go and kept the apartment like it was our own. Freshly painted with paint the maintenance provided. That was helpful to them. They patched holes. We paid for broken blinds they replaced...maybe to often...lol, but it kept the apartment looking nice. Yes we could have waited till we left. We also shared the responsibility of keeping our corridor clean and swept. The stairs clean and swept. The trash picked up. Two guys couldn't be responsible to pick up after us. There were 4 families in our Quad. We also picked up our dog poop around our Quad. Other Quads didn't. It was nasty. We all had a dog we walked. It was policy. When you live somewhere you have to live as a community. If you are not proactive in taking pictures and helping management find and fine and then clean up the rif-raff, then stop complaining about it. You are part of the problem. I live in another apartment now and we have the same trash problem, dog poop problem, kid problem sometimes, but we work together and we have way less now because we are a community that came together and put a stop to it.
I would not recommend moving here. I am relocating from out of town paid a deposit here and all to get here after my move in date for the inspection to fail and I'm not notified about from the apartment consulting. The staff all lies and they stories are incredibly inconsistent and unnecessary. I have been going back and forth with them for a month and nothing was done. I will not recommend moving here the apartment was not finish when it was suppose to be weeks before I got there. The outside look beautiful but it dont match what the inside look like at all. To save yourself the headache of getting pulled different ways with inconsistent stories dont move here If I could skip the star giving I would dont deserve one star
I have lived in these townhomes for 2 years, and it has been a horrible experience. The office staff is extremely rude. When you talk to them you can see the lack of caring on their faces. If you inquire about something their answer is always "I'll get back yo you", but they never do.... you have to chase them down. The other tenants here seem to have no home training. They let their kids run around destroying other people's property and rudely disturb the other neighbors. The sanitary conditions of the property are disgusting. People are lazy and don't throw their trash in the dumpster, they toss it in the parking lot, or even worse.... just right outside their door. In the summer the pool is a joke..... too crowded with unsupervised kids, screaming and acting obnoxious. I actually caught a grown man urinating on the mailboxes, in the middle of the day. Hos excuse- he really had to go and didn't feel like walking to his apartment. This is only the beginning of the negative things I need to say about this place. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere with a better quality of living.
