I lived here for almost 2 years. Within the first year, every single appliance broke and had to be replaced (air conditioner, dishwasher, fridge etc). They tried to pass the stove off as brand new but it had multiple burners that did not work. They allow tenants to smoke in their apartments and when notified of it they claim there’s “nothing they can do” along with next to none of the rules that I’m assuming were in every tenants’ lease agreement being enforced. I moved out 3 months ago and still have not received my security deposit. The multiple times I’ve contacted the leasing office about it, I’ve been met with a complete attitude from whoever is responsible for answering the phone there. Save yourself the trouble and don’t move in here!
Cat owners cannot let their animals go outside. Dog owners can let their animals poop anywhere on the property without cleaning up after them but cats can't go outside. This place has problems with mice,snakes, roaches, etc...Definitely moving out ASAP!!
This complex is kept clean. The apartments are nice and updated. There are nice people living here and maintenance issues are taken care of fast.
I have nothing but good things to say about, Broadmoor 24 Apartments! A quiet and serene community-with office staff, that are the best that I have seen in any apartment community! This manager is very attentive about the-day to day operation of managing this rental property. While not only-living on the property, she also walks around on a daily basis-attending to things that need attention. She listens to the residents and makes them feel welcomed. There are events for the residents; example-a pool party with a Luau theme-of recent! A happy time for all. Maintenance attends to problems as they are reported, immediately, and also lives on the property. This is very helpful, especially if something comes up. I would also like to say-that I have not had any bug problems-at all! You will enjoy your stay at the Broadmoor 24 Apts. I glad that I moved here and intend to stay for a long while!
I moved in a month ago and i got to say i am loving this apartment. It was redone with modern colors and finishes. The grounds are clean and its pretty quiet around here. I did have an issue with my closet door sticking but they came right over and fixed it. Jasmine helped me and she has just been a life saver.
I moved into broadmoor24 in June. In the last few months the property switched owners from Allied to Trinity. There were several safety concerns at this complex as expressed in a previous review. Office management changed quite frequently and a lot of times no one was in the office. After a domestic dispute turned worse (resulting in SWAT coming to assist) my husband thought it was in my familys best interest to move out of the complex. We typed up a 30 day notice stating that due to saftey concerns, we felt we needed to move. The lady in the office scoffed at us and told us we had nothing to fear as they were in the process if hiring 24hr security. We still gave our notice. I will state that we had signed a promise to pay rent (as we were late) we did not pay because the rent money went into moving expenses. A few days before we left, we got a notice on our door saying that they had started the eviction process and that if we didn't pay within a few days they would lock us out. In the state of oklahoma under the landlord tenant act, it states that yoy have to give a 5 day notice to pay or quit. Which we never received. Also you have to have a court order to lock a tenant out. I looked up to see if the eviction was processed and it hadn't been filed. When i went to talk to the office lady she didnt seem to understand and assured us we wouldnt be locked out. Fastforward to moving day. Office lady tells us that since we didnt pay november our 30 notice of us leaving was null and void and we'd have to pay late fees for november, december and the lease buy out. Unfortunately for them my husband and i are in circumstances due to my health problems where we have no choice but to file for bankruptcy. So i guess we will just wait longer on that. The people that run this complex have no clue what they are doing and quite a few of the tenants are known to be associated with drugs and other disturbing behaviour. I wouldnt recommend this complex to anyone.
I moved here after promises of things being better. Office staff said they were cleaning up the place. Cops are always here. There are obnoxious neighbors that are always screaming, asking for cigarettes or pills. Our ac was not working and we were told we wernt a priority because some people didnt have ac at all. Despite us having young kids. Earlier this week our maintence lady was beat with a bat. The next day office staff passed out notes to everyone reminding us to not be violent towards residents, office and maintence staff. Absolute worst decision moving here.
This is a very nice complex in a great neighborhood. New owners have done a lot of renovations and are easily accessible.
This complex is one of the worst in Norman. From rodent/cockroach infestations to maintenance that ignores calls, there's absolutely no reason to live here. Should your apartment flood, your water stop working, your a.c. go out, your heater go out, or should you experience any problem at all, you are on your own. Nobody is ever at the office to respond to any queries. The pool that they claim to have has never been open. The laundry facility is so bad that your clothes smell worst after doing laundry. The cops can generally be found on the premises, there's quite a bit of criminal activity. I've counted no less than 5 shattered windows in the complex. It appears as though someone just shatters windows in the complex at random. SOOO BAD.

We are so sorry your experience at Broadmoor was less than what you expected. New owners have taken over the property, there has been some office changes and the new owner are doing their best to improve the property in every way. Clean up does take time. They are remodeling every unit and they have put a ton of money into the pool area. The laundry is getting redone also. We are sorry you didn't like it in the past but can assure you the future is bright and Broadmoor 24 is a great little community.
