Property Manager at The Vineyards of Colorado Springs, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your review! We are glad you have had a great experience with our team, and are enjoying your home here with The Vineyards. Very Best, Your Vineyards Management Team
The Vineyards falls so short of what they advertise to be. Their website shows pictures of updated units only and lists many amenities, but the community in person paints a completely different picture. The office staff blatantly lies to residents and potential residents. I was moving from across the country and had to rely only on the information I could find online, unfortunately. Take the gate for example: moving to a gated community was a big factor for me. I was completely unfamiliar with the area and had never lived in a large city before and based part of my decision on the fact that the Vineyards was a gated community. When I got here, I was assured it was going to be fixed that Monday, but it hasn't been fixed yet. The office sent a condescending email saying that things don't happen overnight, but that does not change the fact that it is completely unprofessional and unacceptable to lie to their own residents.
Really loved the place even I moved in. Decent roomy apartments but the complex has seemed to progressively slide backwards over the years I've lived here. Might as well remove the gate. Complete waste of money if it's being included in the amenities fee. Not disappointed to be moving out in a few months.
Not the cheapest but definitely the best value. Great community. Couldn't imagine living at any other apartment.
The Vineyards are very nice and welcoming. They are willing to go above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of. They value their residents very much.
The Vineyards is an amazing value for the price. We are a recent move in and there were a few issues when we first moved in with the apartment not being ready, but the leasing and maintenance staff did everything to make sure things were repaired or replaced. Everything is amazing now and they handle any maintenance requests with urgency and seriousness. The space we get for the rental price is outstanding and the bay windows are gorgeous. I seriously recommend this community if anyone is searching for a great value, a quiet community, square footage, and proximity to grocery, restaurants etc.
Management is very helpful and responsive with any questions we have had throughout the move-in process!
The staff is fantastic and always willing to assist. Our apartment is up to date with amazing views.
Awesome place to live! Love the location and the staff is very helpful and professional. It has a great atmosphere and with a welcoming area.
For six years, I lived here at the Vineyard Of Colorado Springs apt. I had no problem while living here. The management and maintenance crew were excellent. There were minor fixes, but solved in a timely manner. The environment is perfect, and I enjoyed living in the area. An excellent place to live for singles and a family.
If you are look from a safe, fun, friendly, clean, and awesome place to live then try the Vineyards.
Left this rental property due to a stalker issue. Front office staff was no help. There’s a new person in the front office almost every month and no one has any idea what is going on. During my stay of 6 months I think I met about 10 new office staff members. I left the property in the beginning of September and I am still receiving emails to pay September’s rent and now October’s rent. They clearly only care about money and keep no record of who has left the property. Don’t recommend moving here if you’re a woman, unless you like dealing with creepy stalkers and a leasing office that doesn’t care.
Live here almost 3 yrs so far. No issues and great staff.
Great place. Old, outdated appliances, but lovely place.
Beautiful place. Respectful neighbors. Maintenance is slow but the price is fair and surrounding stores are close.
A very nice community, well maintained. Im happy to live here!
There were things not addressed in the contract OR at sign in. The mail service not starting for 3-4 weeks is the main one. For a complex this size there should be a lot more garages to rent.
I love these apartments! The staff is super nice, welcoming, and easy to talk to. If a problem comes up they are quick to help and fix the issue.
Good area. Quiet. Mostly secure. Nice floor plan. Valet trash. Extra utilities are massive & unexplained. They need to let Each unit pay for their own bill than grouping all the bedroom sizes and taking an average. This is unfair and the bills are outrageous.
Its a nice place that I live in. But it seems that when I called to make work orders for a couple things, I never heard back from the staff. Strange.
Thus far in my perspective, its a clean, quiet, and informative community.
Staff here is always ready to help you. They go out of their way to be sure you are safe and comfortable.
Vineyards is a well-managed apartment complex with a great staff, responsive to any issues that may arise. The units are clean, well laid out, and quiet. Availability of parking is great and the opportunity to lease a garage or storage unit provides flexibility in living that some others do not have. The pool/hot tub/workout area/grills are wonderful to have as is the common area in the office complex. As mentioned, the staff is superb - friendly, professional, and helpful. We highly recommend The Vineyards as a place to call home.
After a year of living here in a one bedroom, we just signed for another year in a two bedroom. We chose the stay here and upgrade to a bigger floor plan due to the expansion of our family. During the year we have been here our needs have been met Immediately with any repairs. Any concerns or questions have been addressed quickly by staff. Anything we have needed has been given. And our happiness has stayed with thanks to the manager Lenka. We are beyond excited to continue our residency here. It’s safe, clean, quite and the staff (especially the manager Lenka) is phenomenal. I highly highly recommend to anyone searching for an apartment.
I've been here for a few months now. The staff is helpful, friendly and kind. The apartments are spacious, well maintained, and comfortable. The grounds are well groomed and clean. Living here you are in the middle of everything you need to make your life comfortable. It is convenient to everything in Colorado Springs.
I have lived in these apartments since July of this year. Overall they are very nice inside and out. The staff is friendly and keeps the resident up to date via email. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, budget friendly apartment.
Moved in a few months ago. Great service so far. Water heater busted the first 2 days we moved in and they replaced it the next day.
I have been a resident almost 6 months. These apartments are beautiful and the staff has been extremely helpful. We never have to worry if something breaks because maintenance is always on top of it and resolves any concerns very quickly.
During my apartment hunt the Vineyards stuck out to me due to such friendly staff. They were more then willing to accomadate me in exactly what I was looking for. Iv been living in a spacious one bedroom for a few months now and I completely love it!
The Vineyards has a good staff and nice rooms! The staff knows you by name when you walk through the door to the clubhouse to get to the pool or to go workout. They are also more than willing to answer any questions you might have. I am very pleased with the apartment itself. There were a few minor hiccups moving in, mainly because two of our three rooms do not have lights included. Otherwise, the apartment is great! The carpet, vinyl, and countertops are all brand new and look fantastic! So far, I am very pleased to be living at the Vineyards!
The location is perfect. Right across the street from lots of shops and restaurants, and just a quick hop to all the major roads and the interstate. I like that the bus stop for the school is right behind the back gates. The office quick to reply and get things fixed. The pool is very nice and I like the shallow ends for the babies.
Erin is so helpful. Julie on the other hand is not. Always ask for Erin and she is always pleasant and willing to help you with anything and will get it done very quickly. Julie is straight rude and not kind, maybe needs to find a diff job she likes. I love living here though. 1 bedroom is so spacious and close to so many places, excellent location. The desk is very unnecessary in the living room and a bit of wasted space. Safe community. You can hear through the walls though. I'd recommend trying to get a space that has the sun coming in the Windows because mine doesn't and it'd be really nice.
The assistant manager always makes sly, unnecessary comments. She pretends to be nice, well, because she has to. But, you can feel her irritation or the way she forces herself to smile. She will help you because she has to, but she will not say, "hello, you are welcome, you have a nice day as well, etc.". I felt something off about her since the day I met her, and apparently, I was right. When we are provided with "necessities" to make her job easier, it would be convenient to have as many of those "necessities" to do so. The fault lies in whomever did not pay attention to detail.
So far everything is going good. Apartment is nice and clean when we came to view our new home. The staff are very nice and helpful.
We saw the layout on paper of the one bedroom thought it was amazing but when we viewed it was very cramped small living room and kitchen. It was an OK complex didn't like the idea of one trash compactor that you drove your trash to pool was meh. The complex along with the main building was OK office staff didn't seem very knowledgeable about owners and Se of the questions. Didn't have a playground.
Management is cold an unwilling to solve problems. Several of our appliances have broken. Carpets stained and walls have holes and cracks.
This will be long but very informative. If you are ok with an apartment complex assistant manager saying "it is too hard to fix your problem the right way, well just fix it our way instead" this is the apartment complex for you. You would think that being a resident for half a year and paying your rent early every month would give you some priority in having your problems fixed. Well with this complex your wrong. To list just a few problems I have had here would include leaking bath tubs that for some reason can not be fixed, tiles that come off of the kitchen and bathroom floor consistently which also can not be fixed, AC that only works if your neighbors are not using theirs (since its all run off of one unit) maintenance can not fix this either, a sunk in bath tub that holds water and develops mold also can not be fixed, "not cost affective to be fixed, says the apartment complex repair man" even though it builds up mold making an unsafe environment for my wife and son to live in. What priority and initiative the Vineyards of Colorado Springs gives its residents. Its nice having a car port that you pay for so no matter how many cars are in the parking lot you always have a spot to park in. This sadly is not the case either. Multiple times I have had visitors or residents park in this personally paid spot, the front offices solution to this " you can write a letter and put it on the car" Unacceptable!!! The apartment assistant managers are dyslexic. I say this due to poor QA and a lack in measuring twice and cutting once, they assigned me a car port a quarter mile away from my apartment instead of the one right next to my apartment, how you might ask. By giving me port 25 instead of 52. Leaving my actual spot "52" unassigned until a new resident joins the complex and gets the spot, management taking it into their own hands and fixing the problem by giving you a new spot that is continually parked in by non paying residents and visitors. Why not give it to you "a 6 month resident whom has been paying for the spot, no not the Vineyards way, its not easy, instead the problem is solved by giving it to a new 1st day resident". Go figure, you would think that for over $1100 a month that you would be taken care of and all your issues would be fixed. I loved this place when I first moved in but quickly came to a rapid realization that besides the issues in the apartment that "can not be fixed" management has an unacceptable and poor value assigned to their residents and is incapable of taking care of their returning residents. Sorry for such a bad review, first one I have ever given, but it is well deserved.
Been here 7 months to date. I have been very pleased with most of the office staff. For the most part, very friendly and helpful. Current Manager is great! She has helped me in meeting some special needs requests in regards to parking spaces and pet policy.
