The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Thank you for sharing your experience, Barbara! We’re glad to hear the renewal process was smooth and convenient for you.
Thorough tour! Michael was very informative and helpful during our tour. He showed up several different rooms and buildings and addressed all our needs and concerns. Michael showed us the pool area, fitness room, basketball court etc and discussed all the recent updates as well as updates happening within the year. He was very professional and helped us find the perfect apartment!

Convenient and easy I reviewed and signed electronically and it was pretty easy. Just a lot of pages but not a big deal.

The repair person was very quick in resolving the problem. Beside being very nice he was very helpful in resolving the issue within very short time

If I could give 0 stars, I would. My partner and I arrived for our tour appointment early. We were told we had to wait until the tour ahead of us that wasn’t even there yet was finished with their tour. I really tried not to hold that against Viridian. After about 45 minutes of waiting I went to the rest room and got my first red flag. The restrooms were FILTHY. Dried urine and hair all over the toilets, the mirrors incredibly streaky, trash all over the floors, paper towel and soap dispensers out. Thank god my partner had hand sanitizer on them. Finally, an hour after we arrived, 30 minutes after our scheduled appointment, we were helped and given the tour. Oh boy. The gym smelled like it also had not been cleaned in weeks. Not only that, they make a big deal of claiming how they have a “two story gym”. Well, that’s half true because both stories would make up one story of a normal apartment gym. The home theater was trashed to the point where one of the counter tops was completely destroyed. The amenities in the game room (pool and foosball tables) looked like they were from the 90’s. Paint was chipped along all the edges. The “indoor basketball court” was incredibly dark, no lighting whatsoever, trash everywhere and a door leading to the outside of the building was left wide open. The hallways outside the apartments were also filthy. Leaves from outside, trash, wood shavings from “renovations”, there was even a light dangling from the ceiling. As he lead us to the show unit, our guide Michael decided to play Pokémon GO on his phone. Imagine our surprise when we arrived at the show unit to see the Michael had decided to show us a unit priced above what we said we could afford even though we told him two different floor plans we could afford and wanted to look at. As we walked around the unit (just to be polite at this point), Michael remained in the kitchen glued to his phone, not asking us any questions or saying anything. When we were walking back to the leasing office, Michael was still playing Pokémon GO and ended up getting lost momentarily. When we did manage to get back to the leasing office, we were astounded by the amount of fees and how expensive they were that tenants were charged every month. An example, $85 per car per month to be able to park in the property’s parking garage (which you have to use as there is no parking anywhere else. A parking garage that has no entry or exits gates and according to other reviews no security cameras and

Maintenance request Great timing and experienced technician Thanks

We appreciate your positive feedback! It's fantastic to know that our maintenance team managed to respond promptly and professionally to your request. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.
Leasing tour - uncomfortable Did not enjoy being hit on by the tour guide. Did not enjoy him saying to the other guy in the leasing office "isnt she pretty" and the other guy joining in and also making an uncomfortable comment. As a woman looking to live somewhere alone, I would not have felt comfortable living here. Which is unfortunate because I really liked what the place had to offer otherwise. It was just not very professional and it made me concerned about the dynamic of the management here.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, Heidi. We’re very sorry to hear about your experience during the tour. What you described does not reflect the standard of professionalism we expect from our team. We take this seriously and will be looking into the situation internally. We’d appreciate the opportunity to speak further if you're open to it. Please feel free to reach out to us directly.

We assure you that we take such matters seriously and will address this with the team immediately to ensure it doesn't happen again.
Work was done quickly A work order was put in some time ago, and a person came within a couple days to look at the problem-a light in my kitchen that wasn't working. The guy that looked at it said it wasn't just a dead bulb, but rather, an electrical problem with the light fixture itself, and would need to order a new one. I did not hear anything back after that for a few weeks. Apparently there was some turnover in maintenance, as a new team showed up to look at it, unaware of the previous maintenance guy's need to order a new fixture. I'm not sure if the order for a new one was ever even put in. Anyway, this new guy, who apparently was only brought on a few days prior to this (mid to late December--I think he said is name was CL?) looked at the problem and said he could fix it without needing to order a new fixture. He comes back 2 days later with the stuff he needed, and him and another guy have the fixture repaired and fresh bulbs put in. This second guy, again I think he said his name was CL, fixed the problem quickly and didn't have to put in an order for any new parts or fixtures, and explained to me what the problem was and how he was fixing it too. Seems like a good hire--saved money not ordering unnecessary stuff, and fixed the problem in a timely manner.
Property Manager at The Viridian, Responded To This Review
It's great to hear that your issue was resolved in a timely manner. We apologize for any confusion that may have arisen due to the transition in our maintenance team, but we are glad you had an overall positive experience. Your feedback about CL is truly appreciated and we will definitely commend him for his efficient work. It's always our aim to provide excellent service while being cost-effective where possible. Thank you once again for your review!
work was never finished Put in the work order 11/08/24 got it looked at the next day, said they would order the part on thanksgiving, and now it’s new years and still not ordered or fixed.
Property Manager at The Viridian, Responded To This Review
I'm very sorry to hear about the delay with your work order. It's clearly unacceptable for a repair to extend this long, especially over the holidays. We would like to rectify this issue immediately, please contact our customer service team directly so we can prioritize and expedite the process of getting this part ordered and fixed as soon as possible. Your patience is truly appreciated.
Apartment and site tour I enjoyed my tour, loved the apartment and all that Viridian has to offer and I am waiting to hear back on our application to rent.
Property Manager at The Viridian, Responded To This Review
Deborah, We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed the apartment tour and what Viridian has to offer! We appreciate your patience during this process. Be assured your application is being processed, and we'll contact you as soon as possible with an update. Thank you for considering Viridian as your future home.
This is undoubtedly the worst apartment complex that I have ever lived in. I am genuinely writing this as a warning to those looking to rent here. There are so many better options in the area. Avoid this one. I'll list details below: 1.The office staff in particular is the worst that I have ever come across. Unprofessional, incompetent, and unresponsive. Try calling them...I guarantee that they won't pickup. 2. Terrible trash setup. The trash chute will pile up and the whole parking garage will consistently smell of hot garbage in the summertime. 3. The parking garage is abysmal. You are forced to park in their 5 level parking garage. There are no other parking options in the area. The garage is small enough that maneuverability is very difficult. I have personally seen two accidents. Also, they will make you pay a lot of money for a parking space. Many other surrounding apartment complexes have much lower cost for parking. Also, this is a hot spot for cars getting broken into. The complex assumes no responsibility. 4. The gym is falling apart and children will constantly be running through the weight lifting area. I found it very unsafe. Complaints fall on deaf ears. 5. I've never had so many last minute maintenance emails. You will certainly receive emails stating that "maintenance will be entering your apartment tomorrow." It really is to the point where it feels invasive. 6. Also, those emails that you get from the complex are also wrong about 1/5 of the time (riddled with typos) and revisions may not be sent until the following day 7. Thinnest walls that I've come across at an apartment. You will hear your neighbors. 8. Your water will be shut off multiple times a year with a warning email being sent out anywhere from 24 hours before up to an hour before the water is shut off for hours at a time 9. The air conditioning is spotty and cuts out during the summertime 10. Trust me. There's more. Side note: Once you are in the apartments themselves, they are fine but don't be fooled by a decent looking apartment and a smiling salesperson on the tour. The community is a nightmare.

Unsafe, people live & do drugs in the hallways , they move then find a New hallway to sleep & get high
Property Manager at The Viridian, Responded To This Review
Thank you for sharing your concerns from your previous experience. We want to inform you that there have been recent changes in the management of the property. We understand the importance of maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for all residents and have implemented new policies and procedures to address any issues regarding safety and security. Your feedback is valuable to us as we strive to improve our community and provide the best possible living experience for our residents under our new management.
Overpriced for what you get. Hot tub was down for a few months in the winter 2022. Hot tub and pool have been broken again for months, September 2022 and it’s now May 2023 and it’s still not fixed. The gym equipment is terrible. The front office staff has had crazy turnover since living here. Maintenance crew is on top of maintenance requests though.
Property Manager at The Viridian, Responded To This Review
The property is under both new Ownership and new management as of May 2024. We take your feedback seriously and will work to address all concerns in a timely manner.
In addition to all the other issues here, that have already been mentioned (noisy neighbors, horrible trash issues, dog poop, safety and maintenance issues)….. we have now been paying expensive rents for a “luxury apartment” in Greenwood Village… and the pool and hot tub have been broken literally since we moved in. In six months they have never fixed either one. And they have only sent one email about it to tenants and not bothered to discount the rents.
Property Manager at The Viridian, Responded To This Review
We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience you're facing with our facilities. We understand how frustrating this must be, especially given the high standard we set for ourselves. Please know that these issues are being addressed urgently. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
I would not recommend living here at all. Trash regularly piles up in the chutes and there are several other issues that are small by themselves. The number 1 problem in my opinion is security as there are regular car thefts, car alarms, gas tanks being drilled into, not to mention previous issues with the mail room break ins. I have had 2 vehicles stolen at this apartment, as well as had to replace a gas tank that was drilled into. When asking about what their plans are to increase security and prevent these issues, they essentially gave me the roundabout and said they are increasing patrols. There are no security cameras nor any access control and I am at the point of regularly checking the garage to make sure my vehicle hasn't been stolen or broken into.
The Maintenance Team is one of the best I have ever had experience with. There is no waiting to get the little issues dealt with and for that I am grateful. Excellent job team.
Since moving in, the staff have been extremely efficient with responses, maintenance, and even offering fun extras like free pizza in the lobby. We have only ever run into one real issue and it was resolved immediately and to our complete satisfaction. I feel safe and confident that this little community feels very much like like home.
Very safe place to live and the staff are very nice and friendly.
Viridian is a great place to live. I am on my second 12 month lease here and if I ever have any issues they are very quick to respond and get them fixed.
Living accommodations are fine, nothing special. Fairly pricey compared to other places i've lived, but I hear that's the area in general. Security is substandard and I've had my car broken into a couple times in the garage. I know it costs money, but some basic security protocols like gates can be implemented to prevent to kind of thing from happening.
Friendly, attentive staff. Always empathetic to any concern. Megan is amazing and a very hands on manager!
This apartment complex is ran by people who do not care about their resident's security and the suck at communication. When I first moved in, I was happy. There were great amenities and I loved having a garage which made it easy to carry in groceries and to move in. Things changed very quickly. Here are my reasons and please heed my warning: 1.) My car got broken into and the number of car alarms that go off EVERY SINGLE DAY is insane. My ignition now no longer works and I cannot put my key into my ignition. If you read any reviews for this complex, you will see that this is a RECURRING problem and this complex REFUSES to put cameras into the parking garage and the security is lacking in this place and THEY ARE AWARE OF IT. I reported this to Viridian and they didn't seem to care. They jotted down the case report and said 'okay have a good day'. 2.) I have had MULTIPLE packages lost over the course of 6 months. There is a LITERAL Amazon Locker Hub located in the garage and there is a mailroom. Furthermore, the leasing office has a 'package room' which I was never notified of until 3 months moving in. They emailed me 1 month after my package was delivered that it was in the package room. The other packages? I have no clue where they went. I have had 5 packages gone missing and my roommate has had 3 packages gone missing. 3.) Our A/C was broken for about 1.5-2 months when we moved in. The first time I reported it to maintenance I was told nothing was wrong. (Guess what? They were wrong). The second time I reported it, they also said nothing was wrong. It wasn't until the third time I reported it that 'voila' something was wrong and they had to call the A/C company which would take 2 weeks to fix, but 'don't worry we can get you a cooler in your apartment'. In other words: I had no A/C from July to August and was told I was wrong AND was never told I could get a swamp cooler that entire time. 4.) The women in the leasing office are awful at communication. Recently I asked why it was that I could not pay my rent via the portal. I was told 'it changed and now you can only pay it from this day of the month to this day of the month'. I clarified to make sure I heard it right. I tried to pay my rent and the portal wasn't open. I sent out an email. Turns out, because of the holidays, the portal was closed. This is ONE example of their lousy communication where you will get told one thing by Monica and one thing by Megan.
Staff are friendly. The apartment location is very good.
Fair price for an apartment where the staff genuinely cares about you and making you feel at home.
I love this apartment building. Shout out to the staff in the leasing office who were so friendly and helpful. The place is amazing!
Excellent Location, Quiet neighborhood, Covered Parking
We cannot say enough good things about the staff at The Viridian. We feel so beyond lucky to have them as they are quick to respond, kind, and very understanding. Overall, the stairs and structures could use a little bit of work, but I assume that will happen when weather and time permits for such updating. Definitely a quiet community and the units are pretty sound proof for the most part.
I have been over the moon thrilled with my entire experience at Viridian! Karla, the manager has been an angel and helped me get my new place completely online which was such a gift since I was out of state. Then, when I met her she sits right out front like a good leader and the whole team has been genuine and friendly no matter what Ive needed or even if I just have popped in to say hi! The maintenance gentleman who came to fix my window was so nice and professional! He also showed me some workarounds for the future just in case. And he left things cleaner than when he came in. The unit is perfect and such a safe community. I am so thrilled to live here!
It's a very good place to live in. Very good location. Great management and maintance teams.
Wonderful place to live for the late 20's - early 30's adult. Family and pet-friendly. Quite and clean, close to I-25 and 225 but don't get the highway noise.
My time at Viridian has been great. Attentive, friendly staff.
Its a great community. I started residing here in 2019 and loving this place. Location is great. Everything available nearby like bus metro shops etc. Community itself is great and clean.
The staff at Viridian is awesome! Our move-in process was very pleasant and we love living here.
My experience with Viridian has been great! Front office and maintenance staff have all been amazing. We really like our apartment and the location has been great for us too!
I love how centrally located the complex and my apartment itself is beautiful.
Great Apartment, Great staff, Great location, Clean place to live in. Above and beyond
I moved here from Minnesota without being able to actually see the property in person but the leasing staff were very thorough about letting me see (virtually) whatever I needed, I've lived here for almost 2 months and I've been very pleased
I am super pleased with Management & their team! I love living here!
Viridian DTC has more bang for the buck than most any other community in the Metro area. Assigned garage parking, which is a big deal for me, is included in the rent, while some other communities charge for unassigned parking in their outdoor lots, and the rent is on average higher.
Very good community and the office staff are very kind enough to listen to issues and resolve ASAP. I wouldn't recommend this community to any of my friends / colleagues.
Comfortable , friendly, clean, safe place to live. I cant wait until the amenities open up for regular hours to residents.
I was a resident in Viridian for over 2 years. While it's in a seemingly quaint, quiet location, do NOT be fooled. The amount of crime that occurs is unbelievable. I had 1 vehicle stolen, my replacement vehicle broken into twice, and my mail stolen. When confronted about vehicle theft and break-ins the complex took no ownership. After becoming friends with the Greenwood Village PD, I was advised Viridian does not have cameras in the garage and was unresponsive to Greenwood Village's PD offer to install security cameras for FREE. The complex is fairly quiet (save for Saturday night yelling battles at the pool) and accommodating, but the lack of security scared me away. I do NOT recommend this complex to anyone - your vehicle WILL be broken into.
Very comfortable and nice environment only missing a play ground for kids to be a family friendly community
How many times, can I type this. The apartment itself is nice inside. That's really about it. The polices and procedures of office staff ability to fix problems, and ownership are terrible and almost condescending to the residents. When we first moved in, we were really excited, but you've made this apartment very difficult to enjoy.
An amazing place to live full of community and love. The staff is extremely understanding and eager to provide you with any service you require. Quite living that is accessible to local super markets and fine dinning.
Being in the community for the past five years. It is an excellent community with great office people.
I have lived at the Viridian for 2.5 years and have really enjoyed my experience and time here. The staff is very friendly and helpful, great amenities, quiet respectful and friendly neighbors, and quick response to maintenance requests. Very family/pet friendly and great location close to restaurants, bars, i25, light rail, grocery store, and other shops which are all within walking distance.
I am satisfied with everything except the trash shoot & appointment setting for amenities.
