I really had my hopes up to moving here after selling my home right away. I spent over $200 on application fee and an other fee,to get denied. Me and my co-signer needs to make 4 time the rent in a month. Kierra told me she would contact me back but didn’t and I still hasn’t heard back. They emailed my co-signer the denial letter

Well situated and good community. Having the Gym and 02 swimming pools facility. I missed a tennis court in society. Other than it is very good. Close to Walmart, Sams Club and Costco make it easy for shopping and groceries.

Don’t move here if want peace and quiet. They have constant construction inside and outside which is extremely loud and hard to tune out. It makes finding parking, working and relaxing exhausting. The units are not insulated correctly or have large enough air conditioners so be prepared to be miserably hot during the summer. You also can hear everything your neighbors do. They also claim to have amenities which is untrue. They have a pool which always seemed to be closed last year at random times. The gym is full of broken equipment. They raise your rates hundreds of dollars when it’s renewal time, whether you are in an updated unit or not. They do not care about reviews or complaints. Pretty sure the reviews on here are from employees. I’ve been here two years and will be leaving as soon as my lease is up.

Good day, it does concern us that you are unhappy and would love the opportunity to rectify this. We are all most complete with the parking lot renovations, the inside renovations should be during only business hours. If you are also up for renewal, please give us a call so we can discuss options. We do have other amenities such as our dog park, walking trails, hiking trails, and lakes that are stocked with fish (please feel free to fish as a resident you can). We do have the 2 pools; the hours should be from 10 am to 8pm. The gym is about to be renovated. We do sincerely appreciate your patience with us during our renovations, we are super excited to be adding to the quality of our community for our neighbors.
I super way love my apartment. This place is by far one of the best apartments complexes that I have ever lived at before. The maintenance staff is always on it. The office staff is so caring!!!

This complex is centralized in West Little Rock, but it is so silent. The natural surroundings, of forest, creeks and lakes, allow me to feel like I’m living outside of the city. I always love coming home from work. My job is super close so I’m saving a ton on gas!! I love this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love , love this complex. The 2 walking trails are incredible. The one around the lake with ducks is adorable for my family. My apartment is update and sleek. Maintenance staff is always quick, and the office staff is the most attentive to my needs I have ever had!

This apartment complex is absolutely beautiful I’m talking gorgeous with 2 lakes and 2 saltwater swimming pools, staff are nice and quick to answer questions, maintenance is fast and friendly and everyone gets along it’s the best place for peace and quiet!!!
Asked how much was the rent through email since I was far away and they came up with an amount; paid it online (of course with a fee) and then 50cents where remaining. Got another email from the administrator saying that if I didnt paid the remaining 50cents there would be a daily charge of 50usd. Go figure, had to pay another fee to avoid that for 50 cents. Who took responsibility for this?, no one, the administrator even didnt care. Really bad communication!

Was one of the best apartments I stayed in LR until they switched owners. It's really really difficult now to reach anyone at the desk. I had a rent that was due but couldn't pay it online due to some technical issues with their website. Each day after the due date I was being charged an outrageous amount like $50 and $10 each day. I've been calling their office for a week, different times and day and no one picks up. I even left them a message and still no response. I am currently outside of their office waiting on the floor and it has been almost an hour waiting for someone to return and this is during business hours. Aside from that, they do a horrible job at following up. I had an incident where my toilet was clogged and I called their "maintence line." They said someone would come and still till this day no follow up lol. At this point I am ready for my lease to be over and move out of here. Also, if your lease is up they do not have the common courtesy to let you know until it’s two late and they lock you in for another 60 days.
I do not know where to start. This apartment is my worst experience ever. I wish I could give 0 star because this place does not deserve any star. I wanted to move here because of the nice scenery they have. Do not let it fool you. I moved here on July and apartment was in terrible condition. There was a terrible smell and mice droppings and holes all over the behind the appliances in the kitchen. Look at the pictures. I was talking to them every day several times but impossible to get them work and fix things. They come in the apartment to fix something but instead they give me all kinds of excuses to not fix it and leave.It took literally our weeks to clean this place and I am not aggravating. I was talking to them every day and even though they know about smell it took my 2 weeks to convince them to change the carpet. We had to move everything in the kitchen, bathrooms and balcony so it was moving second time. They lied me continuously during the process and I now understand never ever believe what they say. We hoped that everything will be fine after changing carpet but no, everything getting worse. Smell did not go away. Especially in the living room. Terrible smell slap on our face when you step in your apartment. How do you call this place home? I was too tired to deal with them so I wanted to handle this myself. I pull the carpet out a saw this terrible scene. Two big, still wet animal(hopefully) pee spots in the middle of the living room, under the carpet. See the pictures. They told me that there were no pets in this apartment before. I was not at home with them when they are changing carpets and I really shocked. These people saw this and instead of treating this place first they put the new carpet on it. I cleaned this place and applied several layers of Kilz. Plus, I bought new carpet padding because the one they paced was already got wet and smells terrible. I paid everything out of my pocket too tired to deal with them.
I have been living here for a year now and just renewed my lease for another year and I love living here. Not only is my apartment great the location is awesome. I don't feel like I am living in an apartment, this is my home. The office staff is very cheerful and happy to help the moment I walked in the door. Well, every time I visit the office they make sure I am well taken care of. The maintenance are pretty quick in to responding to your issues and getting them fixed. Can't wait for another exciting year here at Chenal Lakes!
This complex is terrible. Orange gunk coming out of ceiling staining glassware and knives. Maintainance unwilling to clean up after mess. No lights in washing machine area. Broken washers. Blinds are stained. Both pools closed on same day for cleaning. Management quite unhelpful. Steer clear of these clowns.
We have lived here for over a year and I can honestly say they have been some of the worst people to work with and have lied/mislead us from the very beginning. Their are better places to live in the area.
Moving from the city, San Francisco, to little country Little Rock after graduating from CSU has been a drastic change. However thanks to Chenal Lakes, I have able to have a little something from back home right behind my unit. From my balcony, I have a view of two lakes. It's such a gorgeous view. Being from California, I miss the ocean the most and living here has provided me with instant access to a scenic view. In the mornings, I just sit on my balcony feeding fish, ducks, and turtles. Total relaxation for a very reasonable price.
I love these apartments and the community. It's centrally located and attached to a great neighborhood. My kids enjoy the playground and the pool of course. The new owners seem to have made some great changes.
After doing research on numerous apartments in Little Rock due to me moving there shortly, I chose Chenal Lakes Apartments and I do not regret this descision. I want to let you know beforehand that I am a single male living in a 1 bedroom. I love the upscale scenery. There is even a nature trail that is great for running. Two pools (no more than 5ft deep), a gym, a sauna, and monthly social gatherings hosted by the staff compliment this apartment complex even more. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the area so ask them questions! Chenal Lakes is in the heart of everything in West Little Rock. Great location! CONS: The pools are closed randomly. Not so much as to complain to staff in my opinion though. The gym is pretty small (but lets be serious, if you want a full sized gym you shouldn't expect one from an apartment complex). I've seen older reviews complain about bugs, but I have never had any problems (I personally spray my perimeter every week and I live on the secomd floor). Other than those few things I feel that this place is perfect.
Chenal Lakes is a wonderful place to live! I felt right at home the moment I walked in to the leasing office. One thing that sets Chenal Lakes from other apartments is its landscape. This is a central location, so it is busy around the town but on property you get a peace of mind with all the amenities and beautiful landscape. This a perfect location to get away from a busy lifestyle. Not only is the location great the staff and maintenance are an excellent team and are always friendly. It makes loving your neighbors easy.
You can't beat a property like this: pools, fitness center, ponds stocked with fish, great part of town, etc. The apartments themselves are nice as well with plenty of space and your standard amenities. The only downside related to the property is that it is on a boulevard, so you have to do a u-turn if you're coming from the other side of the boulevard. As for the management, be careful when negotiating your lease rate. From one lease period to the next, they tried to raise my rate a whopping 20% per month. Also, check the prices listed on the website for the floorplan and lease period you are looking at: you'll find that the web price is lower than the price they quote you. So always double-check rates before signing anything. They aren't the easiest people to work with. Finally, they have a 60-day move-out notice, which as you can imagine is pretty inconvenient, especially when signing a three-month lease. So check the place out, but keep in mind that the management isn't the best in the world.
I have enjoyed living at Chenal Lakes, the staff is friendly and always willing to help. I haven't had any maintenance issues since I moved in. It seems like all of my neighbors are hard working people b/c I don't see anyone sitting outside all day loitering. I feel safe and relaxed at night when I run. Its a nice place to live.
