Scott sits just five miles west of Lafayette, yet it provides a scenic rural setting where residents enjoy plenty of space and a friendly community. The town’s “Wild West” atmosphere is long gone, and today it’s better known as the boudin capital of the world. The flavorful Cajun sausage has put Scott on the forefront of Louisiana’s vast culinary landscape.
There’s a variety of apartments and homes available in Scott. Some will put you closer to the amenities of Lafayette, while others are surrounded by farmland and forests. Overall the staff is so friendly and understanding. The community events are such a great way to meet neighbors! My family and I enjoy the amenities. The noise when you are the downstairs neighbors is entirely frustrating. The dog park is usually wet due to sprinklers and the dogs running through cause mud. I would like to suggest making this your home but only on the top floor.

This was my girlfriend and I’s first experience moving into an apartment (only ever lived in houses) and we have been so thankful! The staff are all so kind, neighbors too! We feel safe and have loved creating the coziest space to call home!

I am completely in love with this place. Every staff member has been incredibly kind and helpful. It's so quiet and beautiful here, and the water is just so peaceful. We have been at the Waters at West Village for about two weeks and overall we love it here. We have a two bedroom/2 bath unit. The apartment - We like the layout, and enjoy the storage space. The dishwasher and refrigerator are low quality however. The dishwasher is flimsy and the refrigerator is too small. The amenities - The clubhouse, pool, gym, outdoor areas are great and we enjoy them. This place is new so everything is in good condition. The maintenance team does seem to do a good job taking care of the place. Twice a month the staff host a community party and we really enjoy that. They have food and we play games. We do not have animals but they do have a decent looking dog park and a couple dog areas. We have two children so a playground would be nice, or maybe a basketball court. There is a nice park with a pond behind the apartments. It has a playground, walking path around the pond, and you can fish. As I mentioned overall we love it here and would recommend.

It is a brand new building and is clean. It will be nice when the dog parking opens up. For now the parking is good, however parking may be limited when more residents move in.

I feel so safe here, everyone is so polite and helpful. The apartment grounds are always clean. The workout room is great and the pool area is very inviting

The process from start to finish was fairly easy. When minor bumps happened the staff was there to help me all of the way. I cannot say enough about them this far! Sara is the best!
