Property Ratings at The "Wave"
I lived at this location for over two years. I finally moved out after the building was condemned. During the time I lived there the basement would flood with sewerwater and the tenants were expected to wade through it in order to do laundry. Police cars in the parking lot were an extremy frequent occurrence. I had no heating in the wi ter the 2nd year I lived there a d had to rely on space heaters. Trash and dirty diapers flooded the common areas and the stench was embarrasing. Children wrote all over the walls of the common areas and my door. The actual unit had many issues including water damage thay had been painted over and mold in the bathroom. After the building was condemned I tried to get ahold of the management company who stated they wouldn't tell me anything, then hung up on me multiple times. When i contacted and asked for a manager to speak with I was hung up on again. MY. HOME. WAS. CONDEMNED. They still charged rent during this time and took on new tenants, while providing no accommodations. Absolitely abhorrent business practice. I wouldn't wish living here on my worst enemies.
The whole complex has been condemned for 2 months and I have had issues from August that haven't been fixed. The security doors don't stay shut and the buzzer to open the door from apartments hardly ever work. There's Waverly animal hospital next door and they have boarding so all day long you will hear dogs barking. The stairs and common areas have never been cleaned since this company took over, the lawn hardly gets mowed and there's trash everywhere inside and out.
Property Manager at The "Wave", Responded To This Review
Issues have been and are continually being fixed, security doors all have new locks and close, Units are being upgraded. Stairs and common areas have all been cleaned and are all going to be painted and new carpet install. All new mail boxes have been installed this property in now an smoke and drug free community.
