Property Ratings at The WerX Apartments
We moved in Aug. 2023, so far these apartments suck, I wish we had seen these reviews before. First, these apartments are pest-infested, gnats, ants, and cockroaches are EVERYWHERE, they will come out of your vents and will go inside your appliances like microwaves, stoves, and dishwashers. You'll see roaches crawling out of your microwave as you're heating up your food, will see roaches inside your stove chilling on the time, ITS DISGUSTING. Second, you have to FIGHT for parking, there's 3x MORE covered parking than non-covered parkings, some people even have to park on the side of the street cause theres no more available non-covered parking. Third, these apartments will charge you for EVERYTHING, including pest control when they don't even come (you have to ASK them to come, that's ridiculous when you have to pay EVERY MONTH for that). You have to pay for the level floor that you live in, and pay for the BUILDING insurance that you're living in. They don't tell you these little details. don't recommend living here.
I moved into my apartment here in april of 2023 i cannot wait to move the water is always getting turned off no one answers the phone when you call, the mail room keeps getting broken into and overall this is the worst place i ever lived
They do not perform any maintenance, instead they lie and say they do. My AC has been broken for 6 months and they will do nothing to fix it even though temperatures are in the triple digits. They will turn the water off with little to no notice for days at a time often leaving us without running water for 3-5 days. I would leave zero stars if I could.
PEST is very big here !! I’m being charged for pest & never get the service !! …. The garbage fee is 16$ & keeps going up like why when l have to go drop off my own garbage ?!!! … they take more then 30 days to fix a work order ! Everything’s falling apart ! Most units have older appliances there pictures are not the same in person All they care about is appearance, I’m sick of this place & is MOVING ! I do not recommend any one to move here !!!
Avoid renting at this establishment. My partner and I were looking for an apartment when we moved to San Antonio. A very nice lady showed us a 1 bedroom 1 bath straight away. We liked the space and filled out paper work and left a $350 dollar deposit. We aggreged to rent the apartment it was suddenly not available. They suddenly had other more expensive options for rent. After the initial visit they ever got back to us. Didn't submit our application or let us know. They deposited our cashiers check and said they would mail it back to my partners address that is five hours away. Terrible service and did not care at all about future tenants.
My fiance and two friends and I just moved into this place on July 1, 2020. We were supposed to move in on June 28 or the 30 at the latest because our friends lease was up on June 30. I first contacted them on June 13 and the lady Nicole talked to the 'property manager' Bree and she told me that they could do the 28th but the 30th would be the latest. And ever since then it has been nothing but lies from the three girls in the front office. The management company doesn't give their 'property manager' any power to do anything and she just repeats the same talking points over and over that have been drilled into her brain. They do absolutely nothing, and when we finally moved into our 'newly renovated apartment' it wasn't even %30 renovate. The master bedroom wouldn't close, the door to the patio wont open, there are gnats, ants, and cockroaches, there is a hole in our front door, the washer dryer we have to wait for, the ac doesn't circulate properly in all of the rooms so some get really hot even with the ac set to 60, there are no ceiling fans, it was dirty literally everywhere, and countless other problems. Move in ready? Not even live in ready more like. This place is a joke. The price is nice but it isn't worth the headache of dealing with this poor management. We are personally getting lawyers and the law involved so we don't have to live here, and I recommend anyone dealing with similar problems to do the same. You don't have to settle for unlivable accommodations. Spend the extra money and go somewhere else. If I could give 0 stars I would.
My wife and I, along with two roommates, rented a 3 bed 2 bath from this apartment complex. We were promised the 28th of June for our move in date and the morning of the 28th they called to tell us that the apartment was not ready and we could not move in until Friday despite having talked to Nicole amd the other assistant manager, Kim, on multiple occasions prior and they had been telling us that the apartment was ready for us. Then when we moved in on the first we found the apparent completely and utterly im disarray. It was supposed to be freshly renovated with a washer and dryer and a yard. The apartment is less than half renovated, had no yard and the washer and dryer will not be here for at least several weeks. The apartment was filthy (toilets were black, showers were dirty, oven had burned food all over it, fridge had old food in it and had multiple cracked shelves etc..). Also the front door has a hole in it as if it had been kicked in before and the outside storage closet has a hole on the exterior wall big enough for a eaccon to enter. In the last few days we have discovered even more wrong, the door to the master bedroom will not seal (the door is too small for the frame), the living room and kitchen area is missing a smoke alarm, the glass sliding door to the patio area is broken and will not open, the master shower does not work and more and more.
