Property Ratings at The Wilde - Historical Access II
High reviews are just from tours. Don't be fooled. My apartment was infested with roaches, reeked of smoke upon move-in, paint was sprayed all over my blinds and my tiles, all construction was shoddy and allowed tons of bugs in. The community itself is dirty and loud and raucous. People litter, misuse amenities, rev their engines, drug deals happen. Parking is atrocious, don't expect visitors to be able to find a spot. During the school year it is hard for residents themselves to find spots close to your apartment. Landscaping is awful. Frequent power outages. Random and unhelpful construction. A weirdly hot gym and underwhelming pool. I cannot stress it enough, do not rent here. You will not have a good experience with the leasing office. From the minute you make the mistake of signing they will stop caring about you and will be outright rude to you.
Kearah was very nice and descriptive about every detail during the tour. I was very happy to walk around and ask any questions I needed answers to. They also had free snacks and drinks great place!

Kearah was my tour guide today and she did an amazing job. The floor plan options are exceptional being that they come furnished with upgrade amenities & affordable prices. I’m excited to stay here in the fall!

DO NOT STAY HERE. Management is a joke. Office staff is rude and unprofessional. They have rats and roaches. Everything breaks and no one follows up. If you can afford to go anywhere else go there. I had so many issues back to back to back. I had to move units in the middle of my lease after a traumatic experience in one unit just for them to move me to a different unit in the same building. Had an issue with the pipes bursting and flooding the new unit. The fireman said that they literally come to the complex every other day because of old pipes and no one from the office wanted to take accountability. The people they have in the office are childish and have no respect for people paying their rent. Had to go all the way to corporate just for no issues to be resolved.

Your review is very concerning to us. We would appreciate it if you would contact our office team by emailing leasing@thewilderaleigh.com or calling 919.754.9131 to further discuss your recent experience.
I moved in a month after move in date. This apartment is definitely not how it looked in the virtual tour after i asked to be sure would this be the apartment I’d be staying in. When i reached out to them they claim this was an upgrade? The inly thing i saw as an upgrade was the kitchen. My tub tiles look dirty and outdated the tub looked out dated, i have one of the older ceiling fans and i had to have them come finish painting. Theres no way im paying for the elite package but wanna get on someone about paying rent. I put in work orders a couple weeks ago about the dryer not drying and havent heard anything back. Dont ask me to call yall bc when i do yall give excuses

Hi Anonymous, please stop by the office so we can address your concerns.
DO NOT MOVE HERE IT IS NOT WORTH THE MORNY. The apartments are subpar (don’t be fooled by the model, the ones you actually live in are dirty and in varying levels of disrepair). The send out random emails claiming you owe charges but then the second you ask them they say they are just mass emails. They claim for everyone apparently (based on me finding out from 5 separate occupants they had a similar issue to me) that there are “carpet damages” or “items left behind” and then conveniently claim they can’t find your move in sheet to prove whether or not it’s in the same condition as move in. If you move out early and your roommate who has a completely different lease leaves something or causes “damages” they charge you as well even though I asked them upon move out of that would affect me since I was leaving early and they told me no. There are a million better apartments in the area for similar or lower price DONT CHOOSE THIS ONR

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are happy to address all concerns of our current/past occupants. Feel free to reach out to our office and have any other residents do the same so we can address them.
When I first moved into the Wilde, there was a couple issues with my apartment. However the staff, Justin and Carl, in the office were really amazing and worked with me to get all my needs met. Now I love my apartment! Having had moved across the country, it's nice having an updated apartment for less than I was paying before. I chose the Elite model, and we got all new appliances. In addition, I have a cat and finding an apartment that would allow him (and not cost a ton extra) was hard. If you need to get to NCSU (like myself) there is a shuttle the complex provides that brings you to 2 areas on campus. Or there are 2 city bus stops just outside the complex. Lastly, all utilities are included. So I've been able to do all the laundry I want and have the AC on as I get used to NC humidity.

This apartment is subpar, and most of the five star reviews are by people who have not moved in yet, only toured. If you read many of them it only mentions the tour or how helpful the staff was when signing, but no other detail. First off, the insulation is awful. I can hear every step that the people living above me make and it is enough to constantly wake me up. Poor sealing around my windows as my bedroom is consistently 10 degrees lower than the thermostat due to cold air coming in. Our dryer was broken for 3 months and the maintenance request was ignored until I called in an emergency work order. I-40 noise is loud and people that live here are loud too. I see ladybugs and cockroaches in the apartment often. Overall not the worst place for the price but seriously consider looking elsewhere.

This is a great neighborhood to live in. They have shuttle that goes to NC State for free. This is so helpful especially during this pandemic. This will help students save money on gas and also won’t need an expensive parking pass. The experience I had here was so great when I took a tour.

For everything you get at The Wilde Raleigh, the prices are extremely reasonable, especially for a student living. Usually other places make the prices ridiculously expensive for offering not as much and not as great service.
If I was a college student now I would chose here. It has billiards, ping pong, basketball and a pool. What else could you want?

Even though the tour was during the pandemic, we were able to do a safe and informative tour! Everyone was required to wear masks, sanitize, and keep a social distance. The staff did not miss a beat even with these circumstances, though. We had a great tour and loved the complex

I moved in with my one other friend into a four bedroom floor plane elite. We were nervous going into the apartment with two strangers, but The Wilde said they would match us with people who they thought matched our personality and they did!! We absolutely LOVE our random roommates and have gotten close so fast!

This is a great apartment complex to move. I have lived here for over a year now and I have enjoyed it very much. The staff is absolutely amazing and the maintenance team is so friendly. Personally for me Cherelle is an amazing leasing agent and Darion and Hannah are willing to work with you on rent because Covid-19 had harmed everybody one way or another!

The Wilde Raleigh apartments in amazing place. I had a great conversation with Cherelle. Even though I was not looking to move with roommates, she explained everything to me about how they do their leasing. The leasing agents have great attitudes and I would recommend to people who are looking to move with their friends.

I recently toured The Wilde and was very impressed! There was a little miscommunication with the scheduling of my appointment however, the staff was able to get it straightened out. Jasmine toured me and my family. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the community, the apartments, and it's surrounding areas. She assured me that I would be a quick drive to campus and that they even offer a shuttle service. I certainly appreciated the various forms of COVID-19 precautions such as wearing a mask at all times, limitation of people, and etc.

The complex is at a very convenient location to easily get to campus and plenty of stores nearby. The staff is super helpful in the leasing process as well as answering any questions that I had throughout my time here. The 5-minute shuttle ride to campus takes you straight to Hunt Library and is super convenient. The maintenance team is also very helpful in taking care of all of the maintenance needs and goes out of their way to cover any other tasks that need attending to in a short period of time!

My roommates and I moved into the Wilde about a month ago and are really happy with our apartment so far. The staff is so helpful and nice no matter the situation. They have been very communicative about the rules regarding coronavirus and the complex, which is very important. It is the perfect floorpan for four people, and the sectional couch is super nice as well. We also have updated appliances in our unit which is another plus along with the balcony.

I really like the location of the apartments and the community. It is nice to be around mostly college students. The apartment had been pretty nice so far. I think this is an excellent place to rent an apartment. The staff has been very helpful to me and the clubhouse is awesome. The rooms, kitchen, and common areas are very spacious.
I’ve had a good experience. Easy move in, easy rent payment, easy roommate matching (I was fortunate to get a good one). I like my neighbors and my apartment was in overall good shape when I got here. My only complaint is the pool not being open because corona. Other communities have their pools open, meanwhile ours is green from not having any upkeep during corona season. I would’ve loved to go to the pool before it gets too cold, but that’s my biggest complaint. Overall, I’m cool with the Wilde.
I really like the location of the Wilde and how nice the staff are. The social media sets a good atmosphere of what the Wilde is and is very informative. I went to the first social that they had for residents and it was a lot of fun. They provided chick fil a sandwiches and succulents to take home along with making sure the social remained socially distant. We have had several issues with the maintenance in our apartment but the staff are actively working (some lack of communication but it is getting better) with us providing help to make our experience more enjoyable.

The Wilde is a great place to live. It fits all of my needs with being off campus because it is so close to many things. The wifi is relatively reliable, and when it is not working, the staff is really helpful at getting it back working. Even though some of the amenities are not available due to covid, it has still been a great experience living here. The staff is always very friendly and super helpful whenever you have an issue or question. I would definitely recommend living here!

Pay extra for stainless steel appliances, you don't get them. Basketball goal has been broke since at least Feb. 2020. Even though they are advertising pool, pool has been closed all summer (Covid is an easy excuse to not open it, however, pools can be open....they just don't want to spend the extra money it will take for upkeep.) Painters sprayed paint EVERYWHERE...floors, windows, ceiling...no masking off to paint, they just took a spray gun and did the best they could to keep off the things that aren't supposed to be painted.

The location and apartments fit my needs perfectly! I love my little apartment and you can't beat the price.
Ok to be honest I didn't know the Wilde was shared living but Ashley told me that we could lease out both of the bedrooms in a two-bedroom apartment! The price for that whole apartment is basically the same if you get a studio apartment in downtown Raleigh, that's crazy! The Wilde Raleigh apartments are where I will be calling home in August! I can't wait.
I toured at The Wilde recently! Ashley did my tour and she was great! She was very nice and friendly. What I love about her is that she was just there and asked what I would want in my future apartment and my future community. The Wilde is a great place and I can't wait to live here!

I had an amazing experience speaking with one of their agents named Cherelle. I called to ask about prices on their 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartments. I am a freshman who does not want to stay on campus especially with everything going on. She was so helpful she made me feel like we had known it each for a while just by the conversation. She is very humble and has a good heart.
I have been speaking with Leah and she has been so helpful in making my application process as smooth as possible. Everything from being so polite on our tour to being thorough in following up and making sure all of my questions got answered. I cannot wait to move in!

Property Manager at The Wilde - Historical Access II, Responded To This Review
We love to hear that you enjoyed your experience at our community!- The Wilde Team
The Wilde Raleigh apartments are such a beautiful place. All of the Student living apartments I've ever been to have always been dirty and not well maintained but the Wilde Raleigh sure changed my mind, I really could not tell that these were Student apartments. When you walk into the leasing office you are greeting by young professionals, I took a tour with Ashley who was very helpful in answering all of my questions on the tour. I really loved how the community is, to me it is very quiet and does not seem like a loud college environment. The only noise you can hear is the Highway I-40 but that noise blends in after a while. The Wilde is a great community and I personally recommend it to anyone.
