Property Ratings at The Willow
Roaches EVERYWHERE. Had to put in at least a dozen maintenence requests that were never addressed. The ones that were, maintenence guys came in and when they left there were always huge messes that had to be cleaned up. Lived there during covid and they used my social security number to apply for covid assistance and pocketed the money. They still requested rent be paid afterwards. Caused so much stress, definitely do NOT recommend.
I wanna start by saying this place is roach infested, you can’t get in contact with any staff member, all they care about is taking your money, and the property is completely dirty and disgusting, not to mention there is geese poop everywhere you can’t avoid stepping on it!! If I can save someone the trouble by saying DO NOT MOVE HERE I will!! These people deserve nothing and they should be in absolute shame!
Don’t move here they have a horrible pest problem maintenance never comes and they never answer the phone
You will be paying rent for the roaches that they refuse to get rid of. If one person has them in your building...the whole building has them...and they will do nothing but say "we will put you on the list for terminex"...when they know that these roaches are all in the walls and don't want to pay to have them removed, completely. For 4 months, I have been killing roaches that come up to my unit from downstairs...I've been complaining for that same amount of time- THEY DO NOT CARE.
The leasing office never answers the phone, there’s always issues with my ‘newly renovated’ unit. The owners of this complex are lazy and it shows. The neighborhood is gross. My building looks like it hasn’t had any upkeep in years. The buildings are infested with roaches and water bugs and the leasing office literally doesn’t care. Probably will be breaking my lease soon.
The worst place I’ve ever rented. Under new management again and things are still the same. No one knows whats going on. No one answers the phone on-site. Maintenance never fixes things in a timely manner. I waited over 12 weeks for a chain lock and I moved into a newly renovated unit. Water bug are a huge issue as well.
Has a lot of problems. Old buildings, falling apart, we had bat issues, someone just got killed in a shooting here. Property manager ms Shelley is the worst. Doesn’t care. Maintenance never fixes things in a timely manner. The steps leading up to 2nd floor apartments are terrible. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place.
I had a very good leasing experience with willow. Leasing agents were very helpful throughout the process. I am excited to move in on August.
Under new management again which is horrible. I contact the rent office numerous times, no one has answers to any of my questions. The apartments are “INFESTED”with SMOKEY BROWN ROACHES and WATER BUGS. I paid for pest control every month and never received the service. Please Don’t waste your time on a tour!
The office and management personnel along with maintenance are very courteous and professional.
It is a nice small community. So many management changes and there is a disconnect when it used to feel we were a valued resident.
New management again and the neighborhood is dirty. Trash all over and in and around dumpsters for weeks at a time. Staff is at a minimum and the complex shows.
I Love it here! It’s Very quiet and MATURE! Ty did a great job staying in contact with me through out my process, he always responded to me and made sure i had everything I needed! 5 Stars!!!!!
Do. Not. Move. Here. I cannot stress that enough. If you can look pass the roaches, outdated appliances, terribly maintained premises and bad management...I have a story to tell about my time here. When I moved in, I was promised a multitude of things and they still haven’t been done. Let’s start off with the fact that I moved into an apartment that was moved out of the day before. There were still pieces of furniture in the apartment when I picked up my keys. Carpet was torn, walls were marked up, bathrooms were filthy and the entire apartment smelled like smoke. The leasing manager did not do the walkthrough with me and cancelled the two appointments that I attempted to make in order to have her come view all of the things wrong with the apartment. Since there are no ceiling fans, the only light sources that you have are outlets that are triggered by light switches. In the living room when I moved in in the month of August 2017, I made note that there are no outlets that work with the light switches and have that information to the leasing manager. Here it is April of 2018 and I still have no lights in my living room. I recently had somebody break into my apartment, if I would’ve came home during the break in, I wouldn’t have had any way to know what was going on due to the lack of lights. If you put a maintenance request in, prepare for it to take 2-4 months for those requests to be addressed. When/If they do anything about the problem, be prepared for it to be completed by their bare minimum standards. This includes urgent things such as the hot water, air conditioner and heat. If you are a handyman looking for a project, these apartments would be great for you because that will provide you with enough projects to stay busy. Don’t do it. I’m trying to save you!
