The Willows of Plainview

I wanted to take a moment to provide review for The Willows. A better place to rent and live. Safety community with supporting leasing amd maintenance staffs. Rating all the communities around, I would say The Willows is an Apple of my eye.

My husband and I recently moved to Louisville, KY without ever touring Willows at Plainview in person. From the website to the video tour of our unit, we felt confident that Willows would be the perfect place for us and our dogs. Darien helped us throughout the leasing process and made it so seamless. She's awesome! We have successfully moved and have not had any major issues other than the simple repairs taken care of fairly quickly by Mark (real nice guy!), who oversees the maintenance. Overall, it's a hidden gem. A quiet, beautiful neighborhood perfect for any family. Our dogs love going outside and seeing all the other dogs on their walk. We have a beautiful magnolia tree near us that we appreciate every time we walk the dogs. The landscaping truly is a nice perk I wasn't even considering. The community clubhouse is beautiful, with free coffee, wine, and other refreshments. There is always an activity happening there during the week, like a food truck or pool aerobics. You can't go wrong at The Willows!

Great apartments, beautiful grounds, and excellent customer service!

I've loved living at the Willows and would've resigned for my 3rd year. The grounds are beautiful, it's quiet, and you don't feel like you're near Hurstbourne Pkwy at all with how much greenspace is around. Also, the staff is great to work with, friendly, and work to build a community for the residents. Finally, the apartments have up-to-date amenities and Mark, one of the maintenance workers, is an awesome guy to work with. He's friendly, personable, and knowledge when fixing anything in your unit. I couldn't recommend living here more. The only reason I'm leaving is because I'm moving to Miami for work.

I lived at the Willows for 2 years without any issues. The management staff is very receptive and efficient. The maintenance team is exemplary, in particular Mark and Justin. Of all the apartments I have stayed in so far, this has been the best.

The management company is the worst I have ever dealt with.

Just want to give a shout out to Lucy, she's helped me out on a lot of occasions. The whole team is great to deal with, highly recommend living here, super clean and quiet area.

Willows is amazing! Lucy was so helpful getting us started from start to finish and the apartment is always so quick to being a HUGE help!

Management is terrible. There are renovations everywhere so you will not be able to escape the noise since the apartments themselves carry noise as well. The renovations are rushed and cheap. I have had endless issues with my floor boards separating. Additionally, they are raising rent by 19% which is the most I have ever experienced in my decade of renting. If I could give zero stars, I would. I am so excited to move out. I was ready to move out about 2 months into the lease.

I lived in the Willows for four years and love everything about it. First, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Maryke is the best! She is super caring and has helped me many times in difficult situations. Second, the whole place is beautiful, quiet and well maintained. Living first in an apartment and then in a townhouse in the Willows, I have almost never heard any noise from the neighbors. Maintenance guys do a great job in repair calls, and you can tell they also like the community. Third, the location is superb. Close to Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and shopping malls, and Kroger, UPS and Fedex are just a couple of minutes away. In addition to all these above, the Willows also regularly adds renovations to the units and organizes events to build the community. Overall, in my opinion this is the best apartment community in Louisville.

We just move around 3 months ago from NYC and we love the Willows! The staff is always so helpful and friendly. The surroundings are always neat, clean and peaceful. This was the best choice we’ve made to start our lives in Louisville.

Safe and great environment and atmosphere. I loved my apartment and the ladies in the leasing office. Maryke is awesome!

We moved in pretty last minute but everyone was so helpful and nice. They were able to work with us to get us in as soon as we were able. Our dogs love the pet spa they have and their fitness center is great too. We had an issue with our water heater upon moving in but maintenance was super quick and efficient in fixing it and we haven’t had any issues since. We are so happy to be calling the willows home.

The customer service at The Willows was excellent. They were willing to help me with any and every question. Their website is clear and well-designed. Although I needed to chose a different option for apartments due to personal logistics, I would highly recommend these apartments to others looking for a place in the Louisville area!

I have lived here at The Willows for almost a year now, and I can honestly say that you won't find anywhere quite like it. Not only do they help you find exactly what you want, but they try their best to help you on a personal level. I promise, almost everywhere apartment complex around Louisville doesn't know the meaning of "helpful" and "courteous," but the people here at The Willows do!!! I know several people who live farther away from so many amazing places and attractions and pay hundreds more for exactly what you can get here. And this apartment complex offers quite a few services here that many places near it do not as well. It's the little things like trash valet, set washing station, and resident car wash station that help make life a little easier! They are also very kid and pet friendly here as well! The staff in the office are friendly and always trying to do everything in their power to make sure all their residents are happy, and they always get to know you on a personal basis. The maintenance staff are very friendly, hardworking, and professional as well! If you have a problem, you can guarantee someone will fix it within 1-2 days of just telling someone about it. The amenities here are everything they promise, and you aren't getting anything that you don't see. This place is not only luxurious, but a great community and very safe to live as well! I'm telling you now, stop looking and just start renting! You won't find anywhere better for the prices!

I want to thank the staff at the willows for working with me on the charge for the pet stains. I appreciate it and would like to say that my overall experience at The Willows was a good one. The neighbors are friendly, the workout room always clean and well staffed with weights and the pool area is one of the best in the city. Thank You!

It say a lot about an apartment complex when they have to offer gift cards to get the residence to write good reviews about them. I would avoid this place. They use scare tactics on their residence. They don"t tell you about the fee to pay for garage pickup and if you don"t have it set outside a certain way will fine you after the second offense . They also don't mention there will also be a charge each month for use of the dumpster(whether you use it or not). They will flip over the carpet after you move out and take pictures of old spots and blame you for it. I would recommend you be there when they do the inspection. I am not even sure the pictures they sent me of spots on what they say are my carpet even mine since I could not see them after I cleaned the apartment The carpet had mildew damage from previous tenants and they are blaming it all on me.`They are sending me threatening emails to pay for the replacement of the old carpet!

I have lived at The Willows for almost a year now and transitioning from a house to an apartment has been a great experience due to the wonderful management and maintenance team they have here. Every single one of them meets you with a warm smile and are ALWAYS helpful. The layout of the complex, along with the mature trees and beautiful landscape, also make this place feel very homey. For me, the location is perfect. Convenient to everything! If you are looking, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment community to anyone. We relocated to Louisville from NY and could not be happier! Our apartment home has so many well appointed features and we truly have found "home" here. The community amenities at the Willows are wonderful and the entire staff treats us like family. From the lovely grounds, to the fun community events, the team at The Willows go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. Can't wait for pool and food truck season to be back!

Of all the apartments in this area, this one is the best. The apartment I live in is beautiful and the location is perfect! However, I must say a huge contributing factor in my decision to live here was the staff. Every encounter was a friendly, welcoming one and they made this transition a breeze. 10/10 would recommend.

I selected The Willows over 26 other options I had for temporary housing while in Louisville for a year. Key attractions were the subdivision styling of the complex, the exterior design of the buildings and the interior layout. Additionally I was drawn to the proximity of the complex to key amenities and most without having to jump on the main thoroughfare KY-1747: Food, gas, car wash, bank, bookstore, and restaurants, etc are all nearby. At the same time you are just a few steps from a nice walk, run or ride through the community. The service response from the maintenance crew has been truly excellent even for the minor stuff. The site amenities I've been able to access so far have been very good and I'm looking forward to the pool come summer. I've also enjoyed the rather quiet nature of the community. I'm looking forward to staying here as long as I can.

The Willows of Plainview is a fantastic place to live for one person or even a whole family. It is more like a community than apartment complexes. Plenty of space in each different apartment layout for tons of variety and they also have a great management team that will answer any and all questions that one could have. They are quick to act on maintenance issues and they are pet friendly!! Even have dog treats in the main office for everyone to take daily love it!

I have been living at the Willows 10 plus years. This is a wonderful place to live. The staff takes great pride in the property as well as their tenants. When ever I have a problem or concern they immediately take care of the situation. If you are looking for a new home you can't go wrong choosing the Willows of Plainview.

We moved here this past summer and absolutely love it here! The office staff and maintenance staff here are so prompt and genuinely interested in how your day is going. They all go out of their way to make sure everything is working properly and if something goes wrong in the middle of the night, they have maintenance come out anytime 24/7/365 to make sure your comfortable in your home! They are very respectful the property and amenities are beautiful and so clean and we'll maintained! I don't plan on moving out anytime soon because I finally found somewhere I am truly happy to be at! This Is home!! -Tiffany Cooke-

My husband and I moved to The Willows Apartments nearly a year and a half ago and we 100% recommend this apartment complex. The staff are very kind and helpful. They are considerate of their tenants and will do all that they can to serve. The apartment is beautiful and very spacious. That is one thing that many guest complimented us on, just how spacious the apartment was. We loved the fireplace in our living room and other apartment amenities. Although I am a fairly new Willows resident, I have impressed thus far by their service and amenities. The office staff is extremely helpful. The maintenance staff rapidly responds to service requests. The complex is safe, clean, and quiet. I am happy to call The Willows of Plainview home.

Mom has resided here for the last 25 years and would not live anywhere else. She has a great re pore with all the leasing agents, as well as the maintenance crew. Whenever she needs something, they always oblige. She loves to walk around the well-kept grounds, as well as to and from the nearby stores. She considers this apartment community as her home. I moved to to this community a year and half ago and I can't imagine living anywhere else! The office staff is amazing and so helpful. The maintenance crew is always prompt and does a great job when things need fixing. This is also the best deal in town when it comes to the square-footage/price compromise. Also, the amenities are incredible.

Love it! I searched extensively after selling my home for an apartment, not having rented for years. It is unlike any apartment experience I have ever had. The office staff members are the key here - they are responsive, professional, yet personable. Think of them as the Willows' competitive edge. They certainly distinguish themselves in a competitive market with dozens of apartment complexes such as the Louisville/JTown area. Call or send an email for any issues and a technician will be scheduled to take care of it. They even respond on the weekend for emergencies and send someone out! Having amenities like a tennis court, a pool, a place to work out, and snow and trash removal make it worth living here, and the complex is small enough to feel like home. Having a greener and less concrete environment was on my list for a place to live. The trees and the apartment complex design first drew me in. So many apartment buildings are drab and lifeless, and you are just a number. Not here - the Willows has grassy and treed areas, grills, sidewalks for walks, tennis courts, a pool, a small gym, and a neighborhood type of environment. It is a great place to call home.

This was my second go around with The Willows. My first stay was for a number of years. I have had the opportunity to visit several East End complexes and view amenities. I would always end up at The Willows. My experience has always been very positive. The location is excellent with a great balance between downtown and all locations in the community. Plenty of restaurants and shopping a short distance. The apartments are spacious and well constructed for privacy in my building. The grounds have always been beautifully landscaped and clean. People I have met have always been nice and enjoyable to be around. Maintenance and staff have always been very responsive to any issues that have arisen. When it comes to cleanliness, comfort, location, facilities and staff I believe The Willows is an excellent choice for comfortable living.

I have lived here for seven or eight years and think The Willows is the best in apartment living Louisville! I have lived in an apartment since 1992 of various sizes in several areas of town. This is the best. The maintenance staff is on time and efficient - they even change my lightbullbs! The complex is dog friendly, and the pool is definitely nice. My pool complaint is it isn't open until noon. The office staff is friendly and offers personalized assistance. The grounds are kept up very well with nice landscaping. You get what you pay for! My roommate and I have been living at the Willows for almost a year now and we love it! The maintenance staff is so quick and so nice! All of the amenities are also fantastic. The area is also very safe and the neighbors who also live in the Willows are so sweet and friendly!

This is my second time to live at The Willows....A great community..... I love living here! The grounds are beautiful, great location! Problems are taken care of ASAP.....

My fiancé and I moved into the willows a little over a year ago. We have had great experiences since living here. Maintenance is always very professional and quick whenever we need their help. The front office staff is always very friendly. This place is great for people with pets too always welcoming our dogs Flash and Shadow in the clubhouse for treats! I would highly recommend the Willows!

We love the Willows! We have been residents of the complex for 3 years and have enjoyed the wonderful amenities that the property provides to the fullest! The location of the property allows you access to all of Louisville's most sought after attractions. We’ve lived here for about 6 months and couldn’t be happier. We actually chose The Willows sight unseen when moving from Savannah, GA and thank ourselves every time we come home that we got so lucky. Dog friendly, human friendly, close to everything you need with a neighborhood/park feel. Any trouble and the maintenance crew is here ASAP and are always friendly. The staff here will make you feel at home. They will fix anything that is damaged or broken. They will get to know you on personal leve and make sure you’re comfortable in your living situation. 5 stars all the way.

I have lived here for almost a year and a half. Quietness, space, and safety at a fair price is what I was looking for. As for quiet, I live in a corner 2BR townhouse which I love. I have no issues with noise from the neighbors and sometimes I forget that I have neighbors. It is spacious and roomy if you don't mind trekking up and down stairs. There was an issue with car break-ins around the holidays, but I never felt unsafe. The front office was responsive and hired a security service and I have not heard of any problems since. Overall, I can say any issue that I have had it was resolved the same day or the next day. It is also nice that it is close to shopping if that is your thing and if you like to run/walk the area is perfect for that. I think the team does a good job in trying to make tenants feel appreciated and valued which goes a long way.

I moved to Louisville in last year and the Willows is a nice , safe and quiet community. The leasing office are wonderful, I worked with Kayla and Christine and They are great. The staff, maintenance are vey helpful.

My family and I moved here from Virginia. A new place where you don’t know anyone can be scary, but the staff at The Willows made our move so easy and were so helpful! My two young girls and I love taking walks around the neighborhood and going for a swim in the pool. The location is wonderful as well. This community is so nice a quiet, perfect for our little family. I love to start my day in the community gym, so clean and well maintained. We absolutely love living here!

The Willows is a great place to call home. Located in a quiet green pocket just off Hurstbourne, we’re only minutes away from shopping centers and restaurants. The staff here is great as well, and the maintenance teams are extremely prompt and polite. I’ve loved living here and highly recommend the Willows to everyone!

My wife and I relocated to Louisville in the spring of 2017. The Willows made the move very easy, even when we moved on one of the most exciting days of the year locally, the Derby. The Willows is very pet friendly...when we had to put a dog down, they even sent flowers, apologizing for our loss. We have made several good friends through walking dogs and spending time at the pool. Speaking of the pool, is top notch with poolside grills, a sundeck and even a ping pong table. The office and maintenance staffs are awesome and can talk to them about pretty much anything. The grounds are very well kept and very clean. Definitely give the Willows a look when searching for an apartment in Louisville. AW

I relocated to Louisville and searched many apartments before I found The Willows. I had my sister with me and we both said "this is the one" when Fran showed it to us. I loved the apartment, patio, and the park-like atmosphere.I have lived here 17 months and have not changed my mind. The ladies in the office as well as the maintenance staff are all wonderful.

I cannot say enough great things about living in The Willows Apartment Community! The grounds are beautiful, neighbors are friendly, and staff are very attentive. We moved here from out of state—never even visiting before signing the lease—-definitely nerve-racking, but little did I know, I should not have been concerned at all. Stores and restaurants are within walking distance, yet the community still feels tucked away. Living here you are nestled into the beautiful Plainview neighborhood with many lovely streets to walk or bike. Our Furbaby has loved our move to The Willows as well! The community is quiet and such a wonderful place to call home.

Almost 3 years ago my wife and I moved to Louisville when my job transferred me. Not knowing the area very well we thought it would be wise to wait to buy a home until we had learned our way around. We got a Townhome at The Willows and it has been such a great place to live that we are no longer looking for a home to buy. The office staff is fantastic, the maintenance staff takes care of any issues quickly and professionally. The community is pet friendly with multiple pet stations around the property. The grounds are very well kept. Nice clubhouse, exercise room and pool. It's a great place to live and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

The Willows is a lovely complex tucked away just nicely off the main road but still in the center of everything. Given the location the apartments are excellently priced with a good selection of amenities, and well maintained grounds. The staff has always been friendly and willing to work with us, even when we arrived to move in at 5am. The apartment was clean when we moved and everything was in working order, the units are actually much bigger then you realize. Finally one of the best parts about the Willows is that they are pet friendly unlike many of the apartments in the area. -Marcus A.

I’m so happy I chose The Willows of Plainview to be home! I love my one bedroom loft apartment with spiral staircase, skylights, fireplace, jacuzzi tub and balcony. It’s peaceful as I can look out to mature trees and have birds, squirrels and chipmunks on my balcony. The staff members are very helpful, especially Fran who always remembers my name and welcomes me to the clubhouse.

Since the moment I called in about what they had available to rent, The Willows have been SO accommodating and friendly. FRAN is THE BEST! She has been such an amazing help all throughout our move and is very quick to respond if we ever have any questions. My wife and I just moved here about 2 months ago now and we are beyond happy with our home. The amenities and neighborhood have far surpassed our expectations! If you're looking for a seamless move and a beautiful/ peaceful neighborhood- look no further!

The Willows of Plainview apartments are awesome! I'm so happy we found these apartments when we moved to Louisville! It was seriously like finding a diamond in the rough. The office ladies are warm inviting and welcoming. They really make this place gold. They treat us like family, always friendly, so helpful, and professional. We have been treated with the upmost care and I hear the same from others who live here also. I don't think nicer exists. This place truly is five star. You can't find a better community. Maintenance is fast and efficient. Everyone makes sure whatever you need is taken care of and quickly done too. The office ladies put on fabulous parties for everyone throughout the year and they rock it! The club house is amazing! We go almost daily to stop in for warm welcomes and various treats and hot cocoa and coffee(they have a Starbucks machine!) I don't think we will ever want to leave is the only problem.
