The worst houing experience ever. I spent only one month there and I couldn't stay there more because of the noise from AC units. I stayed there with my pregnant wife who couldn't bear living there. First, we came to an agreement to break the lease without any penalties. I left Sep. 3rd because of the labor day. Then, they charged me the full September rent in October. Is that fair to pay the full rent for only two nights. I requested a prorated rent, but not accepted. I do not recommend this place at all. I don't think that any renter or manager would agree with this unfair charges.
I recently moved to Knoxville from Arizona and I got to tell you I love this place great amenities every one in the office is amazing and the price is just right for me 10 out of 10.
I just recently moved into my new home about a month ago, and so far everything has been great! I was concerned after reading the other reviews, but I have not had any bug problems at all! I love that it is gated here since I work long days and am always coming in late at night so I feel more safe walking home. Also when I work my 12 hours shift the ladies in the office will take my Max out to potty for me!

This place is an absolute joke of an establishment. We have had bugs since the day we moved in and nothing is being done about it. When asked to get out of the lease I have to pay full price and give a 60 day notice! Joke! The place is a total dump with mold, water issues and bugs all over the place! Then they act your insane when you say something and act like they do not see the issue. If you don’t mind to sleep with bugs then this is the place to live! Has to be the worst experience I’ve had with any apartment complex!

Move somewhere else! The apartments are poorly maintained- The staff is far from friendly or helpful- Roaches in my apartment almost the whole year I have lived here- My apartment "sprayed" many times. The manager of the property had the nerve to imply that my cleanliness was the reason I had them and no other person in the complex had any problems with roaches- Even though I have spoke to two other residents that stated they had/have roaches too (Also reported to office staff and property manager) Also the apartment staff have been in my apartment several times and I even went as far as to tell them to come inspect every square inch because of the pest problem. Constant smell of mildew and feeling of dampness- Even though I leave my air on 63 degrees all day- Bath tub peeling just from everyday use- Massive dips in fake wood flooring due to improper installation- Light on Balcony fan has never worked- Reported twice to front office- Never fixed- Water out multiple times due to busted pipes- This place is not worth the money or the hassle! Just Awful!
I have nothing but great things to say about it here. I love my apartment, I love the girls in the office and I love the maintenance guys. I have never had any issues within my apartment or outside, the entire property is absolutely beautiful and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else!
Don’t be fooled by the landscaping and new paint. I’ve had mold issues due to multiple water leaks. This place is a dump. For the rent they charge you can absolutely find apartments in the area that do not have the issues you will find here. Don’t be me and ignore the reviews you see. Unfortunately, as office staff has told me, these apartments have been poorly maintained over many years. In the year and a half I’ve lived here I’ve had 5 leaks including one that caused my bathroom ceiling to fall down — and it took them 5 weeks to fix the ceiling. Then my toilet exploded into my bedroom and closet because my upstairs neighbor took a shower! Air conditioner has broken twice — 2 summers in a row. Multiple water main leaks mean water out. Power issues.
I love the team and how responsive they are! Maintenance is pretty quick with fixes! The office has been amazing with helping while I’m out of town with packages and taking care of my plants. I highly recommend living here!

The apartment complex is a complete disappointment. The staff is inattentive, frequently delaying return phone calls, apartment concerns, or maintenance requests. They will tell you they will address your concerns, but instead, just ...do nothing.

I don't know about you, but my dogs are my babies. They offer complimentary pet sitting at the Willows. Some days I have to work over and end up being gone for 12 hours plus and they come feed, water and walk my babies while I'm at work. I love the cottage feel of the community, its gated and private.
After searching throughout Knoxville for the perfect home, I chose the Willows! This community is absolutely beautiful! I love that they have pet sitting and take care of my fur babies while i'm at work, Max and Tucker just love Teneria! The courtyard view is breath taking and my apartment has vaulted ceilings and a wood burning fireplace, which i'm super excited about with winter coming up! The ladies in the office are the sweetest and made my move to Knoxville effortless. I highly recommend the the Willows!!
I lived at the Willows for 1 year and the problems that occurred were constant. When I moved in, my bathtub was disturbingly disgusting as it needed to be refinished badly to the point myself and my guests would use shower shoes to bathe. This was troublesome for me as typically management will do a walk through of the apartment to make sure everything is up to par. Nonetheless, I submitted a maintenance request. Maintenance took a look and decided it needed to be outsourced to a refinishing business. They said they left a note with the leasing office and they should be contacting me for an appointment. Weeks passed and still nothing had been done. My mom came to town for a visit and again brought it to the attention of management to which they said it would be taken care of. More weeks passed and still nothing happened. I called and got the same response. More weeks passed and I had had enough. I threatened to sue property management and withhold paying rent unless the issue was handled withing two weeks. That finally got the attention of management and withing 3 days I had a freshly resurfaced tub.....6 months after the initial maintenance request. On top of this, the property has an issue with roaches. They are also negligent in giving you a heads up when your 60 day renewal/intent to vacate deadline is approaching which I find to be a bit unprofessional. I also find the rent to be overpriced for what you get. The kitchen and fireplace are the only highlights of the apartment, aside from that it's pretty shoddy work. The carpet needs to be replaced, the floors on the upper levels have dips and seem ready to give in some spots. The bathroom is nothing special and the shower as a whole needs updating. The paint job is poorly done and looks as though it was rushed. And don't even get me started on the ancient popcorn ceilings (ew!). I left (ran) after only a year because of the lack of response to issues from management and because I felt as though I was overpaying for what I was getting. Also I warn you, they will find ways to "penalize" you for not renewing with them by having you incur mysterious fees before and after you move out and further harass you with issues that are no longer your problem. The only positive that came from my experience was Jordy in the leasing office as he was very attentive and understanding. However, I would not recommend this community to anyone.

I have lived at The Willows almost 4 years now, and plan to renew again when my lease is up. The staff is always very nice and helpful, and the few maintenance requests I have turned in get done quickly and efficiently. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. It's like a peaceful oasis away from it all, but you're just off Kingston Pike and within a mile of anything you need. Shopping, food, entertainment, etc. Also very pet friendly! I have 2 dogs and have had to use the free pet sitting on numerous occasions. It has saved my pups. Open kitchen and updated floor plans are beautiful. Highly recommend!
I have lived at the Willows for over 3 years. Aside from Ashley, the staff turnover is frequent and some are not friendly. Not notified with water has gone out (twice), had a significant roach problem for six months and was not taken care of. Phone calls are not returned and maintenance do not take care of things. Gate hasn't worked a majority of the time I've lived here.
The Willows Of West Hills has been a wonderful place to stay. From the warmhearted and caring staff to the swift and quick maintenance response to an apartment problem. If you have pets they are super pet friendly, Newly remodeled units with stainless steel fixtures and beautiful granite counter tops. The work out room is small but still enough equipment to get a good work out in. This community if very friendly and the staff puts on community events such as BBQ's and a local beer tasting event at the office. So residence can mingle and get to know more about your fellow neighbors. I really enjoyed that with this apartment complex. It was just genuine camaraderie between the residence and staff. This staff actually will get to know you and not just think of you as a paycheck. From the moment I walked into the door and was greeted I knew that The Willows of West hills was going to be my new home. The neighborhood is very quite and neighbors are either small families or business professional with a few college students but not many. I would recommend you stay here if you are looking for a decent priced apartment home with plenty of community social events and a very peaceful neighborhood.
Maintence staff is quick to respond to needs. Rent is reasonable for size and location. Recently major updates-granite, new appliances, ect-very nice. Extremely convenient location-10-20 minutes from everywhere in Knoxville. We love it.
