New York City has it all, from iconic landmarks to industry powerhouses to every type of cuisine you can imagine. Here, staples of the American image are everywhere: the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, Broadway, Central Park, an unparalleled skyline, and dynamic neighborhoods teeming with diverse cultures and activities.
All the perks of living in the Greatest City in the World come with a price tag to match. The cost of living in New York City is the second highest in the nation. Those living in New York City tend to earn higher salaries, in addition to having a walkable lifestyle with quick access to the subway (and less of the fees and maintenance associated with car ownership). There are other ways to curb living expenses, such as looking in more affordable neighborhoods or renting with a roommate.
If you find an apartment you like in New York City, you’ll want to act fast. The vacancy rate is only around 2.

Property Ratings at The Wimbledon
The building staff in total are clearly the reason for me thoroughly enjoying and valuing my time at the Wimbledon.
I love living here. I missed having full use of the roof this past summer. Also the rent is high. John and Rodrigo and each and every member of the staff are THE BEST!! They are warm and wonderful and I don’t know how they know when I have a package without looking because they have so many other tenants to take care of. I feel very much like this is home. The building is fastidious and I have never seen one bug!! Unheard of for the city. The reason for an 8 vs a 10 is the rent.
Cheaper to buy an apartment than rent here. and you would get equity.
The maintenance and Concierage staff are pleasant, attentive and clearly make you happy to come home!
Staff is very helpful and welcoming. Amenities and location are very great.
For the rent that I was paying, I do not feel that it was worth it as each management company came in. The tenants being brought in were disrespectful of the common area as well as their fellow tenants. Those tenants with dogs would "unleash" then as soon as they walked into the building and the doormen would not say anything.
