There was a drive by shooting in this complex yesterday... on a Sunday afternoon. The gates have been broken since I moved in. Even though I've been told several times they would be fixed, nothing. Not a safe environment to live. Also, I am tired of killing cockroaches in this apartment. Just so you know, there are good reviews here because the staff pressures you to make a good review while providing in home services and they bring the qr code to scan and everything.

Hello Anonymous User, we apologize that you have not had an expected experience thus far, however, we are committed to making your living experience with us better. Thank you for reaching out and expressing your concerns. There was an incident at the community but it was not reported as a driveby by the Pembroke Pines Police Department. We have been working diligently on getting the gates repaired. Windsor took over the community in August 2022 and we discovered the gates have to be fully replaced and rewired. This job will require major construction and we are currently waiting on parts. Please reach out to the office if you are experiencing any pest issues because we offer pest control services every Friday. We work hard to resolve all resident issues we are aware of. Our team, just like many other companies asks how was our service after performing maintenance request. It is completely up to the resident if they would like to take the time and complete a review. i love my apartment just wish they would close the gates due to no parking because of so many cars being parked and safety.
Good apartments ,maintenance is fast and great at their job .Perfect view of the lake ,see the beautiful ducks ,swans along with fishes and turtles.

WORST place to live at if you want some peace. 1- Homeless people living in the pool bathrooms and they don’t do anything about it. I told the office and they did NOTHING so Last night I cleaned up the mattress and clothes they had there myself!!! Check the cameras! :) I Put everything in the trash. Condom wraps are still in there. I didn’t clean that up. 2- You get TOWED at night and you have to pay anyways, even if your OWN sticker gets robbed. I have had the same car and tag for a LOOONG time and they JUST noticed my tag “didn’t match” when someone stole the sticker I had for over 2 years too!! But 3 of my friends who don’t even live here got the boots removed in other occasions FREE OF CHARGE. I live here !!! And I pay!!! (Ridiculous) 3- Dog poop EVERYWHERE so kids can’t even play outside. 4- Condom wrappers all over the back of the garages next to the lake. Hard to “ENJOY THE VIEW” 5- And the people at the office are unbelievable RUDE and incompetent when issues come up. I regret moving here. Do not recommend it. Leaving ASAP

One of the worst places I have ever lived. The AC broke approx 4-5 times and the maintenance staff would just make temporary fixes (the same issue would continue to happen). Also everytime the AC broke, my electric bill would be double the amount, and they wouldnt care (yes I complained to office/managment). The garage below my apartment was being used for commercial purposes. This guy was using it to repair not only his car, but customers' cars. At times it would be so unbearably loud in my bedroom (right above the garage) that I couldnt sleep and some of his customers would have screaming matches outside my window. It was literally the worst experience. I made multiple complaints about that issue and nothing was addressed until managment attempted to show an apartment in my building and could not due to the noise and mess. Basically, managment didn't care until it impacted their business. People would also have music blaring from their cars in the parking lot at all hours, for multiple hours (explicit music). People also do not clean up after their dogs and dog poop was everywhere. Management would send a threatening email about cleaning up after dogs, but they never enforced it. At times the outside apartment lights would be turned off at night so you would be walking around outside (pitch black) trying to get to your apartment (not safe). The valet trash people would drag leaking trash in the hallways so they would smell at times. I mean I could go on, there is so much more. So in all, DONT LIVE HERE!

Every encounter with the maintenance crew has been a dream. They are amazing, quick, and knowledgeable, and are a joy to have around.
It is a clean and quite community. The people are courteous and the service is done in a timely manner.
The move in process is a breeze with the convenience of online leasing; the neighborhood is quite and clean and the available amenities are well maintained and in working order. I’ve only been here for a month and a half but I’m definitely enjoying my stay thus far!
One comment: Most residents pick up after their pets, but some are not so considerate, and sometimes stepping on the grass, is concerning. The maintenance employees, seem to try very hard to keep the place clean, despite the lazy (tenants) people who throw unnecessary trash around while outside, like soda bottles, and potato chip bags, and Styrofoam hot meal containers as examples. This is a nice, quiet, livable community, and the good location (area) to everyday necessities.
The apartments are maintained well. The aesthetics are pleasing (inside and out). Relatively quiet. Front office are friendly and knowledgeable.Rates are reasonable.
The staff of the Winston are superb individuals that know how to deal with the tenants and the public as a whole. They are professionals that can deal and solve any given situation without causing any other further stress to anyone. They thrive on making sure that everything and everyone is satisfied and are treated equally. In their eyes everyone is an individual that deserve fair treatment and is no unfair judging toward anyone. You can see that their purpose is to strive for equality and satisfaction and that is what I have always received from them and I am truly pleased with the services.

I love the lay out of the apartments. That's why I've been living there since 2010. I would definitely recommend the Winston.
I would consider recommending this apt. community, but I'm concerned about the seemingly high tenant turn-over. It seems that there's a lot of move-outs as move-ins. I wonder what's the cause.
Would: Well maintained, clean, service personnel are exceptional. Would not: office staff communication with the exception of the property manager.
Except for the property manager, the office staff could be more responsive, better at communication, and transparent regarding having the correct information.
We have not had a bad experience with the maintenance personnel and the level of service has been great! I would inform someone about it but I wouldn't recommend this community because of that.
DESPITE ALL THE DIRTY LEASERS THAT ALWAYS MAKING THE COMPLEX LOOKING VERY MESSY IT IS GREAT PLACE TO LEAVE AND VERY ROOMY.
It is a luxury home at an affordable price, besides Gina is too kind and does everything in her power to make you feel comfortable and to solve any situation.
I first want to commend Jackie on how well she represents the community. At this time, we are going to stay in our home. However, we will recommend Winston to all of our friends who bring up the subject of renting.
I think it is a well kept and beautiful community but the rent is so steep and there is so much drug use out in the open its unsettling.
Office personnel are kind and efficient. Specially Amy who has treated us like family. The day we moved in we found the apartment was very clean, the carpets were just like new, and you could smell the fresh paint from the walls. In that sense customer service is very good. Pool area and gym are very neat and well maintain and you can have a BBQ anytime. The bad side is, we found more scratches on the floor that we were expecting, the bathroom cabinets and some hidden places (like balcony corners, behind closet doors) were not clean. We found dust and spider webs in those places. Also our fridge has a leak and you can't scrap off the iced that forms at the bottom because it's impossible to open the fridge door all the way. The worst part is that we found a roach infestation that we noticed the first night we spent at the property. We have reported the incident and were told pest control was schedule for the unit but we still waiting (that was more than 3 weeks ago) Thank you.

This complex is a complete joke. After we moved in, the customer service went down the drain. No one at the leasing office including the property manager ever answer or return our phone calls/emails, even during business hours. They also don't even answer the emergency phone line. If you have a problem you are screwed. The tenants are noisy. They play music at 4:00am on weeknights and their TV is extremely loud that our glassware shakes and the walls tremble. It's obvious that the walls are paper thin, so you hear everything. I filed a noise complaint and they did nothing about it. The new parking system is extremely pointless because there is still no security after cars have been broken into. The gate is always opened or broken, so what's the point of paying more for the security gate when it's open all the time. In addition, our A/C is now broken and we have to wait days for someone to repair it. It's unreal. Be aware of this place. Look up the reviews prior to moving in because I made the mistake of not doing that. It's obvious that other tenants are having issues with this place. In my opinion, it's not worth the amount of money we pay a month for this place.
I like the amenities, apartment size, grounds are well kept and location. The office staff have been very friendly, and attentive, and welcoming.
I love the community buy had a problem with certain behaviors of other tenants that made it less appealing but with the new management I feel more secure.
I have recommended the community to a few people who felt rent was to high for their income and or the community age as compared to all the new units being built in the area.
The communication with leasing office is lacking a lot. It's had to speak with anyone over the phone or email you have to come to the office, I've waited 15 to 20 min to speak with someone. Possibly need more staff in your office
I would recommend because over all my experience has been positive. Other than the office being a nightmare to get in contact with, I'd generally say I enjoy living here.
The area appears to be a great place to raise our family but there have been instances where we've seen people smoke weed in the stairway and we heard what seemed like gun shots one night and saw some people running from the apartment.
My fiancé and I moved in on May 1st, 2015 and we absolutely love it! We have zero complains. Thes friendly staff, amazing scenario and amenities is perfect for just about anyone! We are glad to be part of the Pembroke Cove family!

Safe, beautiful and resident focused service. The property is lovely in a quiet neighborhood. The location is perfect; close to several shopping centers, restaurants, and an award winning hospital.

It is a family friendly environment, calm and relaxing community but close to shops, restaurants and pubs. If you are pet lover and / or sport lover it is for you. Nice and safe neighborhood, well maintained common areas and peacefully green around.

Finding the perfect place to call home is the most rewarding feeling in this world. A place to feel warm, secure and safe are attributes that comes to mind when finding a home. The Winston Apartments meets all of those attributes and more. The moment you enter the gates you feel a sense of community. The buildings look inviting and the atmosphere feels peaceful. The staff are friendly and open and you feel like they care about your wants and needs. The neighbors greet you with a warm hello. The inside of the apartments are beautiful and modern. Their are endless opportunities of creating a space to live and grow with. The apartment amenities include pools, gyms, tennis court, clubhouse and the list goes on. The Winston Apartments is a place to call home and I proud to call them mine for years to come.
