About The Wolcott
Looking for an apartment that not only has charm and character, but is also rooted in Denver history? Then The Wolcott is the perfect place to call home! Founded by Mrs. Anna Wolcott Vaile in 1898, The Wolcott was an elite private boarding and day school for girls seeking higher education, including first lady, Mamie Eisenhower, and Margaret "Molly" Brown's daughter, Helen Brown. A building that was once complete with a gymnasium, auditorium, bowling alley, clubhouse, a small library, and even an attached school home, now holds over forty apartments varying from studios, one, two, and three-bedroom units! Located in the Cheesman Park neighborhood, this building is surrounded by vintage residential homes and buildings, but is also nearby many of today's popular local restaurants, bars, and coffee shops, like The Mansion, Thump Coffee, and The Corner Beet.
The Wolcott is an apartment community located in Denver County and the 80218 ZIP Code. This area is served by the Denver County 1 attendance zone.

Cheesman Park gives residents a place to call home within walking distance to most amenities. This calm, laidback residential area is best known for its namesake green space known for its large grassy lawns, shaded jogging trails, and neoclassical marble pavilion with dazzling fountains. You can find live performers and diverse, inclusive cultural events throughout the year here. Cheesman Park is home to the Denver Botanic Gardens as well, attracting locals and visitors to view gorgeous themed gardens.
One of the oldest neighborhoods in Denver, the large residential homes and mansions of earlier days have given way to towering high-rise homes with views of the Mile High City and charming apartments in mid-rise buildings. Cheesman Park is one of the most affordable neighborhoods in Denver and offers a great location. There are several cozy coffee shops, cafes, and craft-cocktail bars surrounding the neighborhood.

Property Ratings at The Wolcott
There was no Air conditioning, the property manager was not an attentive guy or very nice. My windows didn’t open, I lived on the only part of the building, where the vines were growing up on my windows, and you couldn’t see out of them at the property manager would not get rid of them. What kind of property manager doesn’t listen to the tenant. The property manager always accuse me of paying rent late when a fact he was never at my location at any time I had an issue I could never get in touch with them. Had was spacious that was the only thing that I liked about. The kitchen was also spacious, but there were a lot of drawers that were broken as well. If you are looking for an apartment with air conditioning and heating and amenities, I would not recommend this place. You need a property manager who is going to listen to the tenants and take care of the property.
