The Woodlands Apartments

We love living at the Woodlands. It’s obvious that anyone that has/had a bad experience is because they weren’t good residents. Maintenance is quick. Manager is above and beyond. The Woodlands is AMAZING.

Managers are dreadful and careless. I absolutely do not recommend this property in any way. Managers are slow to assist in maintenance issues (anything from minuscule to hazardous) and when they eventually do take the time to assist, they do a half-hearted job. Not to mention the office ladies have terrible attitudes and are awfully condescending.

My daughter moved here last year and loves the quiet atmosphere. It is a great location between UNA's Campus and the main shopping and eating district of Florence. Aybri the Woodland's manager is awesome to work with as well. She has gone out of her way to help us anytime we have needed help. You won't go wrong by living at the Woodland's if your looking for an affordable quiet atmosphere.

We have lived here for many years, and we’re very happy! Barbra and Abrey are always helpful. They go the extra mile to make our complex safe and pretty. Great place to live!!

I lived here for a year, and the biggest complaint i have is that the maintenance guy and whoever he has with him will bust up in your apartment not even giving you time to answer the door. Yes they will leave a note on the door letting you know what day they’re coming but not a time. They will knock twice and within 5 secs you will hear your lock getting unlocked. Also, if you have a grill, I’d advise you to sell it, don’t bring it or it will be stolen from you. The rule is simple.. “you can not store a grill, and it can not be used within 10 foot of a structure” So I put mine outside my patio, 11 feet away it wasn’t being used, and guess what they took it away said they’re not allowed on the property. Just know this is what you’re getting into, this place is pathetic, you will have no privacy, i was busted in on without any pants on the last weeks i was at this apartment. Find somewhere to else to live..

The woodlands apartment homes is located right by Florende High school and is across the street from the YMCA. It is in central Florence so it doesn't take long to get anywhere in town. The apartments are nice and clean and the managers are pretty friendly. An email is sent out to us reminding us of preventive maintenance, pest control, and occasionally something that someone might be selling i.e.: a washer and dryer. There is a choice to have wood flooring and new cabinets put in the kitchen when leasing an apartment. You sign a one year lease and then after that you can pay a little more to pay month to month or you can sign a 6 month lease. There is a pool and a community washer and dryer. Parking is okay if you get home at the right time. It's a quiet little neighborhood. The pet deposit is $500 and is non-refundable. You have to have a background check and that is $75. Plus you pay two $150 deposits one being refundable.

The Woodlands is a great place to live. Its a mixture of adults/families, young professionals, and college students. It is directly behind a high school, but the only noise distractions are during the day with band practice, etc. The pool area is nice and open from Memorial Day-Labor Day weekend. They are quick to fix any problems that might come up with the apartment, as well.

The Woodlands is located in the heart of Florence, AL. The staff is awesome and always willing to help with any situation. Love my spacious and homey apartment.

I have lived in the woodlands for 6 months now. When I first moved in my water heater went out and they replaced it that day. They are so helpful and friendly. It's a very quite community, so it's perfect for families, college students, and the elderly. It's kept up very nicely and there's never any trash in the parking lot. The only thing is there's limited parking in the back so sometimes you have to park in over flow. The apartments are very nice and clean and the complex itself has a lot of character. I plan on living here until I'm done with school.

I have lived at the Woodlands for almost three years now. I found out about the Woodlands Apartments through a friend who lived here. I fell in love with her apartment and knew I wanted to live here too. It is a quiet neighborhood but only about 5 minutes from the mall or other shops and restaurants. The University is less than ten minutes away. I also like that the YMCA is across the street. I live in a three bedroom apartment. It is very spacious and has plenty of room for us. We recently got a new oven so are excited about using it! If you ever have a problem with anything inside of your apartment, the staff at the woodlands look into it very quickly. I like that we always have a courtesy cop around so we can go to him for anything we might be worried about. I would recommend the woodlands to anyone looking for an apartment in Florence.

Has many great qualities, including a playground for young children. The pool area is always kept clean. I understand the buildings are old and were renovated not too long ago for apts just wish the plumbing and electrical were updated also.

I've lived at The Woodlands for 2.5 years and love the complex. The complex is quiet and safe. The staff is great and very responsive. I once had my AC go out in the middle of the summer at 8:30 at night on a Friday and within 20 mins of calling, a member of the maintenance staff came out. I also like that the staff tries to encourage a sense of community with pool parties and Halloween and Christmas decorating contests. If I had any complaints it would be the lack of ceiling fans in the apartments.

I really enjoy my apartment at the Woodlands. I fell save day or night entering from the parking lot. It is very pleasant and has beautiful landscaping. I have friendly management here.I would recommend anyone to make The Woodlands their home place.

We are currently living at our apartment home and have been here for 8 months we have a three bedroom 2 bath home. My husband and I live here with our 4,children ages 8,6,2,&5 months. We have enough room for our family to grow and our apartment is accomated for our kids with a park and a pool. We abosolutley love it here. I highly recommend it to anyone its peaceful,safe,and conveinent to shop! We love our apartment home!!

This is the first time I have ever lived on my own, and the Woodlands has made it a great experience so far! My roommates and I each have our own room in a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment with plenty of storage space. All the rooms are very spacious compared to other apartments we looked into. Our apartment has new appliances and carpet throughout, along with new lighting fixtures. Although we have a washer/dryer hookup, we have decided to use the on site laundromat to save on electricity. Water and gas are provided by the apartments, so we are only responsible for electricity. Parking is never an issue, and the minor maintainence we've had done was super easy to schedule. All the neighbors are quiet. The pool is a bit small, but is almost always vacant so you get the pool to yourself. The apartments are very centrally located, especially for UNA students, and for the quality of the apartments, the rent is very well worth it! I love my apartment!

I have lived at TheWoodlands for 5 years. The management and staff make you feel welcome and at home . The apartments, landscaping and amenities are the best. I have had a wonderful experience here and very happy. The area is convenient to everything in town yet is a quiet atmosphere . Anyone searching for a new home should try The Woodlands. It is well kept, safe and comfortable surroundings. The apartments are nice and well maintained. The staff here do a wonderful job at managing and take pride in their work!

Such a quaint and cozy apartment complex, tucked between trees that offer a camp-like feel, but yet so close to downtown, restaurants, groceries, and the gym! The staff not only manages to keep the foliage and exterior of the complexes maintained weekly, but also not a single detail of the interior of each apartment is overlooked. The Woodlands definitely keep everything updated and clean to insure their resident's happiness. After living at the Woodlands for 3 1/2 years, and living in 3 different apartments here, I can say that the staff has made it their top priority to make me feel at home. And might I add, they have definitely done so.

The Woodlands is a family and pet friendly community. The maintenance and management staff is wonderful and they have great pest control. The apartments are affordable and comfortable. The location is great- you're only a few minutes from anywhere in Florence. I've never had problems with noisy neighbors. I have very much enjoyed living here.

I've lived here for 5 years. It's been a great experience. The staff works with you and is prompt to give you whatever you may need. Only had a few minor calls for maintenance and it was taken care of immediately by Mr. Leonard. The community is awesome right beside Florence High School,so there are always people around which I think is good to not feel so secluded and feel very safe. Located in between Downtown and Cox Creek, so it's a 5 minute drive to get or do whatever you want! The residents are great and QUIET!! Would definitely recommend this community to anyone!!

I've lived at this complex for 8 years now. You could not ask for a nicer management staff. Very friendly and ready to help in anyway possible. Apartments are spacious and nice. Very few times have I had to call for a maintenance issue and when I have, they were there same day. The complex is pretty, neat and quiet. Never have any problems with noise or neighbors. I've had the chance to move somewhere closer to my work, but I have chose to stay at The Woodlands because of the staff being so friendly and knowing I'm safe and secure in this complex and surrounding neighborhood.

I have lived in the Woodlands for five years now and have enjoyed every moment. The staff and neighbors are very warm, welcoming, and respectful. The staff goes far beyond what is required to make your time at the Woodlands the best. The apartments are very clean and up-to-date. Maintenance is on the spot. If an issue arises, the issues is resolved quickly. I currently rent a three bedroom apartment and there is ample space for living and storage. The Woodlands proved peaceful and quiet place to call home. The landscaping and grounds are kept clean year round and offer beauty to the Apartments. If you are looking for a quite, comfortable, maintained, spacious, and affordable apartment, you need to check out the Woodland Apartments. I highly recommend the Woodlands!
