The quintessential college town of Athens, Georgia is all about the Dawgs! Home to the University of Georgia, Athens bleeds red and black. Because the city is so student-friendly, it ranks amongst the most affordable cities in the country, and is considered one of the top college towns and best craft beer cities, according to Fortune Magazine.
Athens features the university’s beautiful campus, stunning architecture, historic monuments, and a close-knit community of students and faculty. Residents and visitors alike enjoy the State Botanical Garden of Georgia, the UGA Arboretum, the Georgia Museum of Art, and the one-and-only Sanford Stadium. Athens’ thriving downtown district is home to some of the best restaurants, bars, specialty shops, and boutiques in the state, like the famous Mama’s Boy off Oak Street. Whether you’re interested in sports, live music, modern art, literary history, craft beer, or top-notch cuisine, this historic city has you covered.

Property Ratings at The Woods at Normaltown
The new management came in October and have done nothing to make sure the few of us that have stayed are being taken care of. Repairs go much longer than they should to be fixed and then aren’t even always fixed when told they were. They promised a walkthrough of unit to update them to make the increase in rent worth it, but months in and that hasn’t happened. Pest control is included in what we have to pay for, but they don’t come to spray. No filter changes. The trash areas are an eyesore. They painted the complex, but destroyed the porches with paint. But yet they want us to keep our porches tidy and refusal brings more fees. The paint they sprayed the stairs with is peeling and looks terrible but nothing is being done. Signs for the buildings are on the ground and not being put back up after falling. Refrigerators, stoves and washer dryer sets just sit outside in random spots. The office staff is uncaring and unhelpful. You will get a different story between the people in the office also. The maintenance crew doesn’t speak at all when they come in your unit, maybe because of a language barrier but it’s so unprofessional. With each passing day it seems to get worse.

I've been living here for almost six years. New owners bought it a couple of months ago and damaged my utilities when repainting. I haven't had internet for a month and they still can't tell me when it'll be fixed. They also won't repair the light in my bathroom. My downstairs neighbor moved out after being without heat for two weeks. I do not recommend moving in here.
New property management who raised rent $500, very unprofessional when it comes to maintenance, discussing lease renewals, and dealing with time sensitive issues. They were supposed to fix water 2 weeks ago and haven’t reached out at all. Their office phone “is broken” so there is no way to communicate unless you go to office. Worst property management ever
