Louisville is the largest city in Kentucky, resting alongside the Ohio River on the Kentucky-Indiana border. The architecture in Louisville is a mix of old and new, with historic neighborhoods comprised of Victorian houses and towering skyscrapers scattered throughout the downtown area, many of which contain upscale apartments and condos available for rent.
The amenities in Louisville are just as diverse as the architecture. Renting in Louisville affords you the opportunity to see the famous Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs, learn more about a boxing legend at the Muhammad Ali Center, and meet a range of animals at the Louisville Zoo. The city’s award-winning restaurant scene is an exemplary display of Southern cooking. Just outside the city lies the Louisville Mega Cavern, a vast underground space offering a broad range of adventurous attractions.

Property Ratings at The Woods
I came to tour at The Woods and was greeted by a really nice young lady named Kaitlyn. She was very enthusiastic and made it very easy to make the decision to move into this complex! They are really nice and I love the kitchen!!
The apartment is very nice and competitively priced for the neighborhood. It is very quiet, and the building is built well so you don't really hear your neighbors. Also, there is a new manager as of May of 2021 who is great! They respond to maintenance request in a timely manner and help out in whatever way possible - a big improvement from the previous management team. The new management is remodeling and have upgraded the lighting and carpets in all of the apartments. Before, they wouldn't even clean the carpets or paint when someone moved out. I would highly recommend living here now that new management has taken over.
The apartments are beautiful and in a great location, but the property manager as of early 2020 was awful. He never responded to emails or calls, and when he finally would he was condescending and unprofessional. Maintenance requests were never met in a timely manner. Once he finally came to fix an issue in my apartment, but he did so by unlocking my door and barging in without notice. I loved my apartment but would not recommend living there if he's still the manager.
I have a friend that lives here and it’s a true nightmare. Management does not care about your problems and does not try to fix them in any way. Packages are left open and unguarded in the entryway with no cameras to capture people stealing your packages. The excuse for this is that “they’re too expensive to fix.” If a simple camera is too expensive to fix then I can’t imagine what else these residents have to go through. If you’re looking to move in this area look elsewhere please
